Wow, lots of spring runoff up your way ! Hope it washes down some gold too. Nice looking sluice you've built. Seems to work really well ! Good luck up there this season.🤠⛏⚒👍
Thanks 👍 It looks like a lot of water but we aren't going to have much spring run off this spring with not hardly any snow this winter. Good luck to you
Why to go, Alan. What an awesome brain you have. Love the things you do. My trommel has been out for its first heavy duty test. Passed with flying colours. Thanks again for the adventure, and the video will be out soon! Cheers from down under 🙃
Did you use chalk paint on it? And that was on the bare aluminum right? Great day out bummer you had to drive so far boy you didn’t get skunked lol thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
Hey, that looks exactly like the one I've got! Nice work Alan! Anyone thinking about this sluice should quit thinking and order one before the lead time is months...it's pretty awesome, I love mine!! See ya Wednesday for our hike Bud!
Heya Alan, thx for posting! your waterflow rate looks great along the sluice, it reminded me of how much the character of the streams in your area changes with the seasons and is often strong this time of year. A few years ago I tried to run a similar setup on tenmile creek near Rimini, south of you, during the late summer and it was hard to get good waterflow without building a big rock dam...
@@alanrobertson2510 Basically the same concept just a little wider. I think 16 inches wide. I put some gold hog matting in there before but had to cut to fit
HEY ALLEN I SEEN YOU ON AMERICAN BACKYARD GO WITH DAVE SAYING YOU HAD A SILICONE MATT TO GO INTO THE SLUICE BOX I'M VERY INTERESTED IN IT LIKE TO GET UP WITH YOU TO GET ONE HIT ME BACK LET ME KNOW HOW I GET IN CONTACT WITH YOU TO GET ONE I LOVE THIS VIDEO ON THIS SLUICE BOX VERY INTERESTING

Thanks Chris. Camera work is getting better. lol
That’s awesome Alan ! We wish we had those here in Hawaii but I love your show.

That can happen with the flow for sure. Probably will be a issue this summer with not hardly any snow this winter. Thanks
Nice thanks for sharing PPO out😎

Hey Alan. Cool sluice box. I’m running a Keene 4 inch dredge in Alabama. You make any mats for those?
I don't make mats for a dredge as I have never ran one and have no way of testing them.

You can find them at printingprospectors.com
Is that sluice homemade? And just out of curiosity, what river are you on?
Yes I make them. 3D printed with silicone mats. That was on Trout creek in Montana
Man you run your sluice fast 😮
I sure do
Because if he doesn't those diy riffles will clog. It means all fine gold goes right out the end.
@@jaysunkreuze1466 ok thanks
