Everything is shipped via dog sled, freighter, or plane. I wasn't there to strike it rich, but to enjoy the vacation and shoot a few videos. However, if you work hard enough you could easily pay for the trip. Gold is everywhere up there. 👍
We miss watching Allan. That was a great video and a nice wash plant. How is the Gold Rattler 2. My dad and I finally made it out to AZ. Thank you for your videos on the trommal and sand filter. It was a great time, and after three days we were the gold My wash plant ran great with no problems. The sand filter was awesome.

i really like the sluices. by widening the drops, you"ve lowered the water pressure, smoothed out the flow, and given the fine gold a greater chance to be caught by the riffles

Surprisingly, yes ! There seems to be enough water flowing underneath to wash the underside. Bottom is solid versus a complete polyurethane screen deck. I think that makes a difference.
I think he said the holes are 3 inch and appeared to be staggered on the end of the deck. He did a clean out after our 30 minute run and got 10.1 grams !

You guys should sell the gravel. It is quite unified in size, and it is water shaped, round gravel. People use it for decorations, pathways, around plants to get rid of weeds... They sell these bagged by 30kgs in hobby shops. And you have it pressure washed.
No market. There's literally hundreds of square miles of it. Virtually all metamorphic Schist. Flat and crumbly. Ship to lower 48 is too cost prohibited. Remember, there are NO roads leading to Nome. It has to be flown or arrive by sea barge.
Hi , I was going to say the same as Pyrochemik007 , the slate type schist is perfect for stepping stone pavers ect , you should check it all out ! the gravel's and rock would be worth more than the gold , unless you are getting 50 grams a day . Cheers. @@allansgoldmining

Don't transport the minable material to far ,- or drag the washplant around to much or the ground is chewed up to quick .....or ,- and waterproblems ......... Someone mentioned that earlier. Unfortunately, not practical. There are no roads leading to Nome. Products have to be transported by sea or air. A plane or ship full of rocks is not profitable cargo. Lol ! Actually, that 30 minute run captured 10 grams of gold. 👍
You could. It's a personal choice. However, does Parker, Tony, Todd, Dave, etc. use electric pumps ? Not really. Running into the power cord could be a shocking experience. Lol !

Nice rig but very low throughput. And throughput = gold. If, as he says, it takes 6 scoops to make a yard and he's feeding them at about 1 scoop per minute (it appears) then he's only working 10 yards per hour, not the 25 he says the trommel can handle.
Through put does not necessarily equal gold. One needs to take in account for the rock type. This rock is flat layers of schist. If you feed too much rock into the hopper, some won't get washed, thus less gold. So more is not better.
You can't. The material is flat Schist. Flat material is much harder to process than rounded. In this case, slower is better. Yeah, he could by a larger plant, but that's easy to say from the couch. Coughing up the $$$$ is another thing.

We had the larger model Goldfields 35 trommel when we mined on Anvil Creek (Nome) in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Worked really well.

It’s true that this wash plant can process more material if run at a faster pace. I’m just demonstrating how it operates and the results it produces.
