OG throwback for sure, love watching those 100+ yard bombs. Awesome stuff Chris🤝🏽
Furthest I've personally shot was during a lunch break with a coworker on the construction site. We setup a target at 80 yards. I was hanging with him shot for shot with a Darton hunting bow and a trigger wrist release while he used his 3d competition bow with a tension release.
Needless to say, we were both surprised at how well I was shooting for someone with only about a year with a competent hunting setup.
Truth is most people only follow the hype. Darton is an underrated company that not many know has many patents that other bow companies use. I have shot and owned a few different Darton bows for almost 20 yrs. I have no reason to shoot any other brand. The only downside is it's hard to find a dealer close by to go and test the bows out.
Love the Michigan house and views! Missed seeing this 🙌🏼
Thank you for your time and effort bringing us this vid.
It's been a while since I watched a Chris B video, Great Stuff Brother!!! I'm ringing the Bell all the way!!! Just sold my 2012 Heli'M, Time to get New Again! Keep it up Chris B I'm watching again bro, playing ketchup, busy working!
Wish I would have found it I’m looking to get another Heli-m for nostalgia sake
Deer love that marshy area behind the target . I always see them coming out from the marshes or following valleys
Quality shooting Eagle eye 😅 distance shooting definitely improves one’s shooting appreciate your time 🤙
do you use a lighter poundage for your target/ TAC bow from your hunting setup?
Cool vid Chrisbee!
Chris, enjoying your videos. Thought that you would drop one on the Redding shoot? Was curious, what are those targets that you are using?
Such a good video!
Came in at a perfect time 🤘
Great video and great shooting. :-) Could you possibly move the sight closer to the bow. That would help to get a sight mark. Would be interesting to see a video, where you actually have got everything dialed in at 150 yards, shooting 5 rounds at a target, to see how much you can get. :-)
Awsome set-up you have.
Best videos made by Chris bee
Awesome shooting. I can't even see 150 yards out, LOL.
Fun video Chris! What target is that again? Are you coming to TAC 7 Springs?
Nice shooting !
Another way you can gain a little more distance besides pushing your peep up is to move the sight back in as close to the riser as you can (if your sight lets you do that)
What about making a flo green pin that snaps into the UV3 battery hole on the bottom that points down and set it on the top of the target?💁🏼
You should set up a bow/peep for a 150 yard shooting and see what you can do with a better anchor and sight pic. Great shooting!
What of michigan were you at? Love these videos Chris, keep it up
Yessssssss
Chris what is your Leupold bino and spotter set up. I’m thinking I’m making the switch. Leupold’s clarity is unreal
Whhhelp….. guess i gotta go shoot now. 100 yards with my max 60 pin should be fun. Love the long bomb vids.
Thanks Chris!
Can you move your bubble to the top of the scope housing?
Great video!
Can you tell us what mount you use to hold the phone to the scope?
PhoneSkope
Should do a long distance shoot(+100) with your comp bow and hunting/tac bow(if you haven't already).
Sheesh thats far! Where can I get one of those targets at...?
Chris why the 29 for your tac bow and not the 33? love the content man. u got me in to archery and now im broke haha
Man those Mathews Bows are Top of the line for sure.
Hey Chris - just picked up the same VX3 29 in 29.5" #77.
What arrow set up allowed you to get out that far?
I’m thinking about getting the vex and wanna know what sight that is 😂
🔥🔥🔥
Went and got me a Mathews monster m8 been watching u for years had to get a Mathews
Is the idea that it is easier to achieve accuracy with a longer ATA bow no longer applicable with the current bows? He is using a 29 inch bow. Granted the riser is long for such a short ATA. And I recognize that he is a pro shooter, but I’m rethinking my fear of short ATA bows.
It would take some fiddling but you would get quite a bit more distance with the sight on the inside,
spot hogg used to do a prism sight (hoggernaut ?) That with a fast bow would probably go 200+
You would need a 2" peep sight LOL
What type of phone mount are you using on that spotting scope? Looks magnetic?
believe he said phonescope
This whole time I thought you been saying "Bee Roll."
Nice bow and shooting 🇺🇸
Good shooting
Love to try it sometime lol
Maybe I’d hit the backstop 🤣😁
Hey Chris . The title made me quick instantly . Here we go .
Good shot low 7. Callback to archery stereotypes 🤙🏼
At 150, I am dropping 9.2" per yard with my target set up, LOL. Getting set up for Crystal Mountain, so 125 yards or so should be good. Too bad I am only getting about 108 yards with my scope clearance. Just not gonna change my anchor for one shoot per year to get more peep to arrow distance. After TAC, I can go back to the 80 yard field round max.
You could make up a lighter arrow just for the longer target, you could also try moving your sight back in as close to the riser as you can (if your sight let's you do that) .... with any luck one or the other, or a combination of both should get you the little extra distance you need for that one target.
thats crazy
Nice shooting Chris 🐝🐝
What target are you shooting at? I need one!
Hey Chris are you using a magnifer with a peep clarifier
What arrow setup are you using ??
How do I get my hands on one of those huge foam targets!?
You need some goretex mocs dude :)
I wish I could get the hha would be dope can’t afford it I have the ultrav hunter edition just nothing to mount with trying to put it on my v3 31
Less goah!
Those looked like pretty flat shots, what arrow velocity do you normally get with that setup?
All his videos I’ve watched of chrono speeds are around 300-305fps
I think I’m going with Tom Cruise on this one… “you make me want to be a better archer”
What kind of binoculars do you use?
sick
how are you able to shoot with both your eyes open? Is there a trick to it or just repetition?
Looks like you’re shooting the Easton axis long range 4mm? If so, are they the 340 spines? Great shooting by the way! 🔥👍🏽💯
I get a kick reading questions , like Chris’s ever answers questions anymore , when people make ‘em famous. , they forget their subs lol
@@rick31869 Yeah your right about that.. 😐 I appreciate you responding to me tho. 👊🏽💯stay blessed my friend 🙏🏽
@@rick31869I saw your long rang arrow set up question. I actually use the Easton axis 4mm long rang arrows 340 spine they’re great. Maybe give them a try? Nock on archery channel has great information on arrow set up and veins as well as great tips for archery. FYI 👊🏽🙏🏽💯
What’s your arrow setup for this bow?
Hey just curious what is your draw weight?
What sight are you using
What front binocular and range pack is that
What are those huge targets? Are those homemade?
No shit that’s what I wanna know! I could shoot over 30 yards when then big suckers !
Where do you get your being circle black target?
I’m game if you want to get together and shoot man?
Iron sharpens iron.
Chris what targets are they??? Thx
Where can I get a target like that for my long distance
What targets are those ?
How does he aim with both eyes open holy cow
By the way, the arrow that you lost that you thought went low, was actually dead center. I can see the arrow hit and go through. Re watch and look closely
Is that the Magview ?
I thought if you lowered the peep sight in the string it gave you more long range distance. Is it more or less distance between the nock point and the peep?
Raising your peep increases your range
@@ianmartin7489 Ian, I was told back in the day to sight my peep in at 50-60 yards rather than 20. You would have to scrunch your face sligthly, but it would mean that you werent floating your hand when you shout 100 yards. This would help you be more consistent at longer rangers since you werent floating your hand at long range.
@@ObamaOsucksOass that is correct, but raising your peep allows for more sight travel before hitting your fletches
Raising your peep (longer peep to arrow distance), would lower your anchor, giving you more distance. But, if you shoot longer distances like we do with field and hunter rounds, or Total Archery Challenge events, then yes, you do want to set your peep for 50 to 60 yards, assuming you are using a slider type sight.
What kind of target is that?
What's causing that draw noise, is it the bow or arrow gliding on rest? Not the first time I heard it but on his other videos, so now I'm curious.
Arrow on rest
@@Adam-ju9dk Thank you. Hope that's the case.
Anyone have info on the quiver setup?
Chris' groups at 150 look like my groups at 50.
Anybody know what spotting scope that is
how do u keep your iphone on the scope ?
How are you able to shoot up to a 100 and past while keeping the same anchor point and not having to either anchor lower or lift your head up and not have your nose touching the string? I can get to 90 but once it’s pasted that the bottom half of my sight is out of my peep. My bow is shooting a 285 FPS sigh tape from black gold. I also use a nose button and a hamskea peep 5/32.
@@justahasbeen Ahh that makes sense but even at a 100 I’ve seen people shoot and not move there peep. I’m not sure why I have this problem.
@@justahasbeen No chance he moved his peep. One, he has it tied in, and two, if you do move it, it will rotate with the twist in the string, and no longer line up at anchor.
So how do you even see the target from that far? I have difficulties seeing out to 40yrds and Im only 34......
are your target holders just nails with washers or are they something actually designed for archery
@@justahasbeen where do you find them ive been looking the ones I seem to find are pretty small
Your 4 fletch arrows I feel added drag. @100 yards.
Is there a difference between 3 and 4 veins
How can I get better at aiming at long range...I can float fairly good at 30 yds but when I go back to 60 there so much movement in my pin??
Add forward pressure.
longer stabilizer in front, shorter DL, correct grip, stance and posture, and hold
I wasn’t expecting to click on this…but here I am
Not going to shoot the 33 for TAC?
Nice shooting what about the podcasts
Your accuracy went down when you stopped usuing the hamskea
How much are those targets where?
Targets? Where and how much?
Use the tip of your arrow as your pin at 150..
What kind of targets do are you using and where do I get one?
What’s your arrow setup
I use full length Victory VAP .166 Elites in 300 spin. With 140 grains up front with Nock on wraps and Max 2.0 vans. Arrows weight in the 450’s. Wondering what Chris consider lite arrows.
Love all your vids Chris. I try to model my form after you and maybe one day I'll get out to 150 yards.
I really like your videos, can I adjust to 40 pounds mathews v3x bow because I'm a beginner?
with 60 pound mods you would get it down to 45 or close
@@saransmith8773 thanks for the help friend what is this mods 60 pounds you speak of?
@@jfmusic3585 On Mathews bows, poundage, draw length and let off is adjusted by modules that screw to the cams, no press needed to fit.
baby wifi cam maybee better details 😉
If only FITA would allow electronics on the line.
Getting ready to win another truck?
If I try 10 times I can’t draw my bow as smoothly as you. I don’t get how you hit the back without any resistance or slamming the wall.
Lower the draw weight until you get smooth. I used to shoot 70 pounds then figured out everything was so much smoother at 65.
