I know this an old video but I wanted to comment. Lucky lil man... I wish so much my parents or grandpa would have let me learn to shoot a bow. My grandpa used to have a old green recurve bow, I used to steal out of the garage and cut branches off the tree and try shoot them. Always got in trouble for it. My parents where hardly around to know I had an interest in archery. I am now 40 and my husband bought me a compound bow last oct for my bday after telling him that story and seeing his old bow. I havent got much time with my bow we had a major move, covid and I had to rehabing my back again after breaking it years ago. My bow is just a basic bear rth pakage but I am just extactic and its so idk but centering for the soul. Archery a bit overwhelming as far as all gear and the tech! But I am trying to learn best I can. It warms my heart to see that so many people take the time and the so many shops have youth programs! Thank you for the video and hope you and your are all well!
YES! Another bow build. Always love the builds and like every vid going to smash the like button and tell all my friends that there is a new CHRIS BEE video
Good vid guys! Cooper seems like a really cool kid! I've got a few of my 4H kiddos with a "spunky" personality like that. Yall keep up the good work as always!
You guys rock!!! Keep the videos flowing. I just bought a Bowtech Revolt yesterday can't wait to set it up next week and experience the new Deadlock cam system when I'm tuning. "STAY SAFE"
awesome build guys, thanks for the watch 7 year old grand daughter enjoyed as well however the smiles when cooper was in cam?...nah..it was the new Mathews bow,i think?? ha.
It is just there from when the bow came in, to mark the center of the strands for where the peep goes, since it’s a solid color string. He just didn’t take it off, instead he just moved it up. And You can’t use a string to slide up and down to twist the peep. If that was the case than nobody would have to use a press to take some twist out for that same reason.
@@EB-1679 you're right when it is there to show the separation of the strands but it definitely can be used to rotate the peep, I know plenty of people who do this and have also seen a ton of videos from guys that do it. You necessarily need to keep it there, but some people keep it there to just move up/down to help their peep rotation
What arrows is he shooting for outdoor and indoor stuff? whats the advantage to running a small shaft arrow outdoor vs indoor? If you're shooting all target it would make sense to keep running the fat shaft outdoor? (im a bow noob)
That kid is so much cooler than other kids. Really making me want to finally have a kid with my wife already. Hopefully soon, and hopefully they turn out this chill. Side note, I'm really noticing my age that this stood out more than the other portions of the video. Smh. At 31, I guess I finally hit adulthood...
Its probabaly in the comments but.....13/16 center shot, adjust top hats from there, left tear = cam left, right tear=cam right. adjust 1 cam at a time. cheers for sharing
@@td1145 I tried the 3/4 limb clamp on my prevail and it actually moved. The pad has actually worked better. The clamp may be the way to go with other bows, but I'm not sure.
@@bmook019 Fair enough, I have run clamps on 6-8 bows in the last couple years with no issues. I guess it makes me wonder, when these factory shooters are touting the latest and greatest factory options but they are not fine tuning accessories, arrows, etc...are the rest of us just suckers along for the ride haha =) Is rest timing really irrelevant? Does last years TRX38 perfectly tuned make me completely irrelevant to a shooter with this years TRX40 just slapped together with my limb driven rest pad at what they perceive to be the "bottom of the limb"?
Hey Chris I hah my string blow on my q2 there's a six week wait for a new string and cables. I set up my Oneida . opening day is tomorow. Guess what? The the power cable on it blew..... Do you have an old bow you don't use you could help me out?
lol, I am sure they are just clamoring to get their hands on a POS obsession. Good luck getting parts for that turd in a year or two when they are the next among many to go under...
you have no idea what your talking about obsession bows are in there try shooting there final pro x3t guarantee it shoots hands down as good as the trx or any prevail
Love you Chris been watching since you and your sis shot against each other you seems like kind of a sell out these days to your sponsors, love that you're mentoring little guy should give traditional bows a try you might like it
Chris, I can't keep my D loop from moving. The weird part is that the D loop itself doesn't seem to be moving, it must be the string. Does that mean I need a new bowstring? It's only 2 years old.
I just got my first compound bow I have not shot it yet but there are speed bead on it and I can’t put a d loop on it .this is probably not the right place but does anyone know how to get them off
Rusty Shackleford the exposed spring would not work for me. I end up belly crawling through the desert floor so I couldn’t risk it. Just my opinion though.

Chris: "IT'S A LEFT TEAR"
*Coop walks away*
Chris: *whispers* "It's a left tear, right?.."
🤣
Brother, can you bring Cooper back on a video in the future? It would be cool to see how his archery journey has grown since this one.

Daniel Babcock me too!
I love Coopers enthusiasm about wanting to work on his bow.
Honestly though
Good kid
OOOOOO LAWD!!!! Scared me with that box cutter scene, lol🤣
@Bradley Tarlington I think he was referring to Cooper almost cutting the string.
Heart skipped when that kid went all slice & dice with the box cutter. 😂
Nice to see you in full mentorship mode! Cooper is lucky to have you. And Cooper, nice bow!
Loved the lofi in the background and chillness of this vid Chris

Chris, what is the purpose for the small blue string above the peep on Cooper’s string?
He can use the string to adjust his peep rotating by moving it up or down

I was drawing my bow back about just befor half way and hit the trigger should I be worried
What is the point/ purpose of the fuzzy piece of serving above the peep. I see you and some other pros do it and was just wondering why.
You do that on a solid color string so you dont have to count strands to find the center of the string if you have to work on it later
How often do you restring your compound?
I'm getting a traverse this weekend and a trx later this year. Im so excited. Chris bee is goat
