Ah, I remember first learning how to solve a cube using this tutorial around 3 years ago. Back then, I would use to take around 5 minutes. Now, I can solve one in 30 seconds! I've come a long way on this journey. Thank you!
This was explained really well. Both my daughter (9years old) and myself can perform the solve in under 5 mins. Took us about a week to practice and learn the algorithm. I will recommend this to all my family and friends.
You can be such a good teacher. I had this cube in my house for 3 years and no other tutorial helped. Using you tutorial I was able to solve it in an hour and a week later I have crammed all the formulas so I can solve it off my head. Thanks 😊
I would just like to say thank you for this video. Didn’t think I’d be able to memorise all the steps, but found it easy when you memorise each stage separately. I will admit I was stuck for a while after completing the 2nd row, but within 2 weeks, I had this down. Now I can solve a cube every time with no thought needed. This has been great exercise for keeping my mind active and healthy. I now mix and then solve a cube at least 5 times a day. Thank you again.
This is the first time I've found a tutorial that actually IS understandable, and made me solve a Rubik's Cube for the first time in my life. Great video, thank you!
Hi. I just want to express my gratitude. I just solved my first ever rubik's cube after numerous attempts (trial and error). I still have to practice a lot though. But still, I have a new achievement. Thanks to this guy! Happy new year, everyone!
if u have 3 yellow corners on top its an impossible case and u need to twist the last corner trust me its the only way to deal with that case i avg 25 seconds i just came here to answer begginers questions as im feeling bored
@@steelers_da_goatsI am not able to make two layers for all the faces. Some of the side pieces are yellow in color, so I can't match them with their corresponding same colored middle piece to make a T. Thus, the process isn't going forward

Over 39 years of living, and I’ve finally completed this thanks to this video. THANK YOU. I always felt like I was too smart to have to watch a tutorial, but there’s no way I would have ever figured out those algorithms on my own. I did it 3 times watching your video, then created my own notes based on your strategy. Now it just comes down to memorizing the algorithms of the last 4 steps. Thank you thank you thank you!
Don't you worry. It's almost statistically impossible for someone to solve the Rubik's cube on their own, without knowing anything about it. It has 43 quintillion of combinations, and you can't solve it by being lucky, so, or you're a genius (real genius) or you won't ever solve it by your own. But that's the case for almost everyone. 😁 By the way, I'm a speedcuber, I've been solving cubes as a sport for years, and I have never met (and probably never will) someone who has solved it by their own genuinely. 😅
@@LianMooN_ Erno Rubik did solve the cube on its own. It is possible, but just a matter of time, perhaps several weeks, and I bet there wouldn't be many people who would put that much effort and still not willing to watch a tutorial these days. You are not turning entirely randomly between those 43 quintillion combinations but you are watching where the pieces go, so it is possible since you would be knowing more about it since you try figuring it out yourself. I have not tried to solve it on my own before knowing how to solve it. but at least someone would have figured out the algorithms for us on their own.
Just a serious pain to look at because his cube's green and yellow looks almost identical to each other On top of that blue is the color opposite of white (in my case) so that changes things alot
@@zenkwith3718 EXACTLY. I was taking pictures of the cube and sending to my friend all happy, but when I got to the third layer I just did some movement wrong... Well, I'll start at the daisy again hahahah
@@mariocarastro1811 I still don't know, I just hope it works hahahah. But try to look at the 4 "middle" pieces that should be near to the yellow piece. Today it was the first time that I got a Rubik's cube in my hand and then solved it, so I only got the daisy 3 times, I still don't know if there is some algorithm better than this 'mixing' hahah
Me: sub-4s it (or maybe sub-5 because I might be inconsistent and slow at cross and F2L) Like the whole cross ofc, not a DAISY. I’m actually slow though. I watched this video a couple of years ago and learned how to solve the cube then. But stopped playing with the cube for a few months and forgot some of the steps... So I came back to watch this again and it reminded me of the amazing job you guys did of turning something quite complex into something that everyone can understand - kudos to the team who is behind this video !!!💪

Meeeee my friend brought her cube to school and i was suffering with the daisy before and kept saying the last part is hard and i was like bro at least you can solve it
m v that’s the step I always get stuck on, it takes the longest time for some reason. The others are acc pretty easy to nail down once u memorise them, esp the last one since as long as you follow the algorithm to a T you won’t mess up.
There are many tutorials online, but this is the best fit for me and after playing it on repeat at slow speed I was carried to a completed cube. Very happy with myself. Thankyou!
I got to part four by myself but you have put into words my thinking. I been a week and I’ve probably put about 10 minutes in every day. Today I decided to get serious. I checked out a bunch of other videos before this and this is by far the best. The others can’t seem to resist showing off and the ego is distracting. They may be good but this one is clearly articulated. Thank you so much.
Thanks for this tutorial! I saw this and tried it about 4 years ago and learned it quickly, I have continued to practice and can now solve it in less than 15 seconds. Thanks for this!
I'M LITERALLY CRYING 😭😭😭 I did exactly everything you said and by the 22 minute mark it was solved !!! I'm so happy, I've had this cube for years hanging around in the house, and thanks to this video I finally solved it!!!
You heard it wrong, he says you'll never *have* 3... not that you'll never be missing 3. Missing 3 means you have 0 which fits the algorithm. Correct this and you should be good to go.
Yay! Solved it for the first time 2 days ago, thanks to this video and today I managed to solve the bottom and middle layer by myself before having to come back to the video. Slowly learning but it's so satisfying to see that your brain DID remember the steps. Going to try again until I memorize it all, and see how long it takes me to solve by myself.
Solved my first Rubik's cube. Never thought that I could do it. But you kept me going with your clear and easy instructions. My heartfelt thanks to you Robbie ❤️
I got stuck on that part because I solved the white but not the bottom layer. It was cuz I didn’t match the other sticker to the white to its centre colour
@@anemofarts9085 what if I redid that step like 5 times and made sure I centered them but still didn't solve the bottom layer but got the white face on the bottom
It is a 100% legit video to solve a 3x3 rubix cube. It took me a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes may be over a span of a day, since I was pausing and re-watching the same multiple times step by step and finally I have solved the first scrambled cube of my life. Thank you so much for this lovely video ❤🎉
Your cube is unsolvable in its current configuration. You must take out an offending piece and flip it so that you have a solvable case; or swap stickers if you can't remove a piece.
@@1dogissky, you can, but then you have to peel off many stickers, and they tend not to be that sticky, so you'll probably end up with stickers that don't stay on afterwards; or too sticky, so that you end up with ripped stickers. Better to take the cube apart. It's very easy - turn a face 45°, then pop out one of that face's edges, and the rest comes apart relatively easily.
This is by far the best tutorial I’ve watched. I succeeded after few attempts and kept practicing. My current record with this method is 71 seconds. Tip for a shortcut in step 7: L’URU’L *U2* R’URU2R’
I remember when I legit freaked out when I first solved it, but now your just looking forward to solve it in front of people so they can be impressed because you solved it so many times to the point where its not cool anymore
If you're having trouble following the algorithm parts, you can have youtube slow the video playback down by using the gear icon in the lower right of the video. I set it to 0.25 to help me solve it the first time

It tooook mec
Don't you worry. It's almost statistically impossible for someone to solve the Rubik's cube on their own, without knowing anything about it. It has 43 quintillion of combinations, and you can't solve it by being lucky, so, or you're a genius (real genius) or you won't ever solve it by your own. But that's the case for almost everyone. 😁
By the way, I'm a speedcuber, I've been solving cubes as a sport for years, and I have never met (and probably never will) someone who has solved it by their own genuinely. 😅
Sorry for my bad English, also. :(
it's called a method not a strategy
@@LianMooN_ Erno Rubik did solve the cube on its own. It is possible, but just a matter of time, perhaps several weeks, and I bet there wouldn't be many people who would put that much effort and still not willing to watch a tutorial these days.
