There is a typo in this video. It's 1215cc not 2015cc 😅

Have the 2014 explorer. Love it. Allll day long on lanes and motorway.

I’ve just ordered one as a second bike with 16000 on the clock in white. Should be a nice garage partner for my ZZR1400 . Mainly for use in the winter. Good value for money compared to BMW etc. Great review.
I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed my video.
Sure is a great bike.
Thanks for watching Simon
All cool info on the bike I enjoyed it all.
Thanks for watching Roland
I’ll have to agree with you and would classify it as a touring bike as well.
Yeah it just didn't feel like something to take out on a trail. Thanks for watching brother
Thanks, great test. I bought one 3 month ago. Before I got Honda Crosstourer, BMW 1200 GS LC, Ducati Multi 1200 and tested KTM 1290 adventure.
In my opinion:
Positiv:
Very very good handling, realy easy to drive
The best drivetrain I'v ever driven
Easy to shift
Best headlight I have ever seen
Very good seat, no problems for a day or longer
Negativ:
Engine is like a 100 HP engine and needs high rev's and the sound 😢
Rear break is like nothing
The front breaks are also bad at higher speed
A litle bit of shaking over 180 km/h
Plastic parts are like chines toys
But, I love the bike
Well said Markus!
Thanks for sharing your insights about this bike and thanks for watching my video!
Fine motorcycle I guess, great video!
Thanks Robit =)

Very cool video!!!

Cool Bike 😍🔥
Thanks for watching Gaz
I love mine, the only things I'd change is the sound of the engine (I'm use to inline 4's) and perhaps the amount of fork dive when braking.
I'm aware the gs1200 doesn't do that however I really dislike the way the boxer engines stick out so much.
I like that my triumph is easy to handle ride, and does everything I need.
👍
I too, don’t like the boxer sticking out hehe
Going from Inline 4 is like stepping down from first class to business class. Sure it works but…. Yeah hehe 😉
Thanks for watching
Cool mc!!!
Tack för titten Milon
:)
This thing looks huge. I prefer smaller and more nimble bikes. Nice video 👍
Yeah same here. But some larger bikes can be very nice to ride though.
Thanks for watching bro
i cant decide between 3 bikes: tiger 1200 xc 2015 , ducati multistrada 1200s 2016 and bmw gs 1200 2015.. i want a touring bike for travelling for 2 people up. whats ur oppinion?? + i am 1,94 m so i need something big and comfy! thanks
I have tried all of the bikes you mentioned. though I have no video of the multistrada.
If I were you, I would pick up triumph or ducati. bmw is less reliable brand than the other two and I've heard many expressed their honest thoughts about bmw as a brand and bad experiences...
You could also look into Yamaha tracer 9, also a good touring bike. I'm only 1.57m tall so can't say much about height for you.
feel free to ask more. I'll try to answer.
I have videos of the tracer, bmw gs + gsa, ktm super adventure (also tall bike) etc on my channel.
=)
@@Darkvisor thanks for the reply. I currently own a tracer 9 gt and I’m selling it cause it doesn’t suit me well cause it’s a bit small haha. And yes my two best options is the tiger and the multi. I found the tiger at 12.000 euros and the multistrada at 15.000 so maybe the tiger is more worth I think.
@@the2tourersmotovlogs yeah I was about to say something about the size of the tracer hehe. it's basically a larger version of the MT09.... =P
I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about a triumph but I have heard some people having problems with ducati as a brand. I owned a ducati scrambler for a few years with zero problem however...
Yeah 12K for the triumph does sound like a good price. I would probably pick it to be honest. =)
@@Darkvisor I'm currently looking at GS and also specifically a 2016 Tiger 1200 xc. I'm surprised to hear your assessment of BMW brand having less than satisfactory rating as compared to other two brands. I would have thought Ducati would be the least reliable; and Triumph having a bad dealer service. I see lot of grumblings about triumph dealer's lack of service in the US. May be it's different in other countries.
@@Darkvisor I guess then you would think the 2016 Xc that I am looking at in the US for 8,500$US is a good bargain then..... only has few thousand miles on it and no scratches to speak of. I haven't even contacted the owner to start negotiating.
Very interesting cool bike. Catch you later thumbs up brother
Thanks for watching
Could you tell me dimensions of panniers and top box ?
I’m sorry no can’t. Isn’t my bike. I only test rode it once.
Thanks for watching Eren
Nice video
Thanks Joseph
A used tiger explorer is probably one of the best deals out there. New I'm not sure. Might get a bmw if we're talking new, but used the triumph wins. Super high quality design and build but they depreciate more than other euro brands for some reason even though they are the most reliable of the euros.
Well said, sure is a great bike.

Just bought a 2014 with 5000 miles for 6500 bucks. If you really keep your eye out, you can find a similarly priced gs, but they just don't look as good and don't hold up on performance for similar years. The airhead ones were awesome and the new ones look better and are apparently really good to ride. Until I hit the lottery I won't buy anything that loses half it's value the second I write the check.
Är den inte rätt lik en bmw gs?
ser ut som en typisk sport-touring hoj...
=)
Dom ser ju alla typ lika dana ut
Utseendemässigt jaa... resten nej... min åsikt btw. :D :D :D
Hello dark Visor my friend, i also agree with you it's a tourist bike, no way dual sport like yours tenere or suzuki dr 650 and others, geia sou apo ellada!
Greetings. Thanks for sharing your opinion about this bike and super thanks for watching and commenting.

What you feel the better bikes are
That’s a very highly personal opinion.
A question I cannot answer without follow up questions like: what type of riding one prefer or what type of roads are you planning to do etc etc.
then on top of that comes other things like brand reliably etc. personal preference…
Are you looking into this bike?

I’ve owned 2 of these. It’s a Triumph. British 🇬🇧. Fantastic bike for 2 up. Does everything you need. Nothing to complain about after 10 years. Why buy BMW. Only sheep buy those. Buy British if you can all day long. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Nice bike but the acceleration is slow for a 1200cc🤔
I wasn't really giving 100% also though hehe
Thanks for watching
The powerband reaches its peaks at 9700rpm. Also, the square boxes in the back acts as a sail. If you want to try the power as fair as possible it should be with those off.
Vänta är du svensk?
Stämmer bra de Liam! =)
Based on it a Touring bike not a

Yeah, as far as people saying it's supposed to be like some sort of dual sport, they are missing the point. It's not like a klr that you ride an hour on the road to a dirt track or a trail in order to ride all day on dirt. It's more for taking it on something like a camping trip where you ride it half way across the country and then use it to get into some more remote camping spots down a low use dirt road or a forest service jeep road.
