    Hi, I’m Piero and I’m 24. Two years ago I injured my lower back, herniated disc (L5-S1). At first the pain was so that I couldn’t even imagine doing some of these exercises…if you that are reading this have the same problem, you must know that it WILL pass and disappear. Move very little and don’t exercise when you’re in pain, but eventually the pain will decrease, it takes time (for me a little more then 1 year of very bad pain) but hang in there and speak with more then one doctor (spoiler: probably they won’t agree). I chose not to have surgery (but your case may be different), the pain decreased, I started doing this particular Pilates workout 8 months ago and I’m doing it pretty much every morning. Now sometimes I even forget I have an herniated disc. So thank you Tracy, you did a great job❤️‍🔥

    Many thanks once again - I’ve done these stretches 2 days in a row (I have scoliosis ) and this stretching really helps; very clear and easy instructions.😊

    Thank you for this. I’ve been nursing a sore back for weeks and it’s eased off enough now I’ve felt able to start to try and build up my back muscles and this was the perfect thing to get me started. Great video!

    I really enjoyed this. I do find it difficult to roll my hips from side to side as I experience a grinding/cruching sensation which is uncomfortable so can only manage a very small movement and I have to move really slow. Do you know what this grinding/crunching might be?

      Hi Linda, it could be your SIJ or lower back/pelvis. I'd suggest either missing out this movement, or keeping it very small as you say. Take care.
