I swear on everything in my life.... I tried about 10 different videos on back pain and the last one I did was literally making the pain worse by the day... I've been doing these excersises and following this video for about a week... And for 2 days now, I have Zero pain... ZERO PAIN.... Today is when I decided to make a proper comment informing y'all... PS. (I had lower back pain.... Pain on of of my butt muscles that I thought was early signs of Sciatica...) ALL GONE.... So I plan on doing this everyday for about 6 months... Oh my goodness! I could hardly move. My back was getting worse and worse over a few days but this morning I just crawled out of bed. I was hesitant in trying these exercises because I was very uncomfortable and yes, I would say I was in pain, but I was also desperate for something to change. I ran through these exercises with him, paused at different points so that I could do them slowly and precisely. By the time I was done following him through all these exercises, the pain was gone. Still tight. But I didn’t get here overnight and I know it’s gonna take a while to retrain my muscles. I am over 60 and I have slacked very much on exercising. Now I realize I need to strengthen my core and get moving. Thank you so much. I had always planned on staying fit for the long-haul, but I didn’t realize how lax and out of shape I had become. You are surely a blessing, thank you so so much!

Best us of a parking ticket ever! Training this old bod to use the 4 point activation (small skinny foot etc) is helpful in real-life activities that move almost anywhere between vertical and horizontal.
Brother, please don't ever take away the information you've given out for free. You are helping people and changing lives. There's not a single video that I haven't found real, tangible benefit from. Usually immediately. The trick is doing it the next day and the day after because the first session or two so often fixes so much that it's easy to fall back into bad patterns. I have pain in my lower back for one month. I woke up Yesterday Morning, and it was more pain than ever. I couldn’t bent or take on socks or even go to bathroom without incredible pain. I found this video, and even it was painful just to get down on the floor, i did it. It helped instantly, I took two painkillers, and the rest of the day was without pain. This morning it started hurting again, and I did the exercise again, and it helped again. Thank you for this video 🙏

This was incredibly helpful. I believe I’ve been doing the hip bridge wrong and increasing my lower back pain. This was the first time I actually felt immediate relief in my low back when I raised up my hips thank you so much!

2 years ago, I did your hip series prior to my total hip replacement as pre-hab. Doc said he never saw someone in their late 60’s be so conditioned for surgery…said it made his job easier. And I got discharged from PT faster. I follow what you advise. Love your sense of humor showing the sponsored ads BS and using the City of Toronto parking tickets is brilliant. Just sayin’ I’m a fan and believe in the science, not the fad.
Holy toledo!! These actually work! About a week ago I jumped down from standing on my tire to work on my trucks engine (a jump I have done, hundreds if not thousands of times) but this time when I landed it felt the same as if I had rolled both my ankle while running full speed, except in my back. It was beyond excruciating... it was the level of pain that makes you feel nauseous. 6 hours later I was crawling on my hands and knees across my yard to make it to my house. All the videos I have watched prior to this have been minimal at best, but these WORK!! Probably because they aren't super easy, it definitely takes some effort, but it's worth it!
Good to review and deepen all that again. Number too is new for me.. great to feel this energy creeping up my spine at its sides. must be the multi fidi. I felt that getting the shoulders nicely hanging and open helps this energy to go up through the thoracic spine, now aligning the cervicals Standing as a great exercise. Can do it everywhere!

Very nice and slow and helpful. Walking in the park one morning. I messed up my back by doing a lunge in the middle of the park - on uneven ground. Lesson learned. Your exercises helped me. They will help me even more with daily repetition. Thank you
Ive had this lower right back pain since the day after Hurricane Beryl, moved wrong when removing tree branches and debris, not a heavy lift , incorrect lift style due to being caught up in the moment. Ive covered A to Z different methods to resolve but this video really set the tone. Giving that I am a young 58 and still very active I have been advised go in the doctors and have them took a look. I have been training for a bi-atholon (I'm opting out of the swim part of the event, other than that it be called a triathlon) in honor of my wife. I'll be doing the run and the cycle part of the event. Thanks

@PrecisionMovementCoach thanks and ill do that. Day 2 and 110 better. When it initially occurred it felt like I pinched a nerve and traveled all the way down right leg. I stopped what I was doing and tegrouped. Took a couple deep breath and carefully stretched and took it easy. I'm still going to see a physician to get input before I start training again. Doing an event in honor of my wife. Did a tri event for my grandfather and my goal complete the event. I did but those guys were athletes. My outlook is a rolling stone collects no moss... when u stop moving etc...that's it. Sat next to a surgeon on a flight one year and she said the number one thing or secret to getting old / sickly is exercise. I'm sure I was eating ring dings or something like that..went from 230 to 170...in 3 months give or take. Serious m moment of clarity and flipped everything over. Be safe..sorry bit wordy reply but voice app
This helped immensely. Static stretching alone was only making things worse. I am quickly regaining stability and that’s after one session on a very tender lower back. Thank you so much for this

Holy Batman I did the second exercise and I felt all the muscles stretching I usually can't walk more than 5 minutes and having to sit back down because my back hurts so bad. I am going to continue these exercises to see if my back improves. So I have been doing the second exercise for 2 days now and I actually feel great what a doctor couldn't fix you fixed I can never thank you enough for posting this video you are truly helping a lot of people.

This channel is brilliant, so glad I’ve come across you! I’ve spent my 20s weight training and not prioritising mobility work and I’m paying the price for that lack of knowledge now. It would be great if you could put a video together for a full body mobility routine that could be done daily/a few times a week etc to incorporate into the weekly workout schedule. Thanks for providing such valuable content - wish I’d found you sooner!
Better late than never. :) My suggestion is to get our ROM Coach app - www.ROM.coach - then do the Daily Movement Tuneup each day as that gives you a few new exercises a day. Then, you can choose a routine or 2 to follow for more targeted work. Give it a go and lmk how it is!

Thank you very much! This helped me.. I had a lower back pain today and this video lessened it. I couldn’t move without the pain and after the exercise I was at least moving a bit without the excruciating pain.. I just felt some discomfort but I know it will go away

I really appreciate the part where you explain to activate your muscles and focus on foot and stuff cause i really noticed im not really using muscles throughout the day and i experience lot of back pain and knee pain but as soon as i did your exercise for just 10 minutes i feel much better and will try to focus on better posture throughout the day👌 thank you so much keep it going im for sure going to watch some more of your content🙏

Thank you very much 🙏 when I do weighted squats at the gym do I maintain the same form / instructions as this or for example it’s commonly said that the hips must open up and knees should flare out, but your instructions (for the physio) is the opposite. Please kindly clarify 🙏
Hi and that's a great question. Try out all of those cues in an effort to find your unique squatting position that feels strong, stable, and mobile. Eric's cues are specific to this setting and things change when you add weight. Getting out of bed this morning, acute low back pain. I did your video and repeated it after lunch and at bedtime without pain. I am presently doing phase 2 of your spine control course. When is it safe to continue spine control course. When can I restart running. Thank you so much for your help and expertise. Lorraine
Wonderful! You can restart SpC when your pain is inbetween 4 - 6/10 or lower. Reintroduce very short and gentle running...like 10 - 20 m. If that is pain-free, then you can gradually increase the distance/intensity. Make sense? - Coach Joshua, Team PM
Coach, are the exercises valid if I feel low back pain on one side (left) ? My low back on left side cracked after getting out of bed. And once i get into bed at night starts to get tough again and when i get out until I do exercises to get some blood. Its the first day to mention. Are the exercises valid for my case as well to recover permanently the left side and get back to normal as im actively training ? Thanks.

Holy Batman I did the second exercise and I felt all the muscles stretching I usually can't walk more than 5 minutes and having to sit back down because my back hurts so bad. I am going to continue these exercises to see if my back improves. So I have been doing the second exercise for 2 days now and I actually feel great what a doctor couldn't fix you fixed I can never thank you enough for posting this video you are truly helping a lot of people.

This channel is brilliant, so glad I’ve come across you! I’ve spent my 20s weight training and not prioritising mobility work and I’m paying the price for that lack of knowledge now.
It would be great if you could put a video together for a full body mobility routine that could be done daily/a few times a week etc to incorporate into the weekly workout schedule.

My suggestion is to get our ROM Coach app - www.ROM.coach - then do the Daily Movement Tuneup each day as that gives you a few new exercises a day. Then, you can choose a routine or 2 to follow for more targeted work. Give it a go and lmk how it is!

Thank you very much! This helped me.. I had a lower back pain today and this video lessened it. I couldn’t move without the pain and after the exercise I was at least moving a bit without the excruciating pain.. I just felt some discomfort but I know it will go away

Thank you very much 🙏 when I do weighted squats at the gym do I maintain the same form / instructions as this or for example it’s commonly said that the hips must open up and knees should flare out, but your instructions (for the physio) is the opposite. Please kindly clarify 🙏

Try out all of those cues in an effort to find your unique squatting position that feels strong, stable, and mobile.
Eric's cues are specific to this setting and things change when you add weight. In that case, you should be following your current capabilities and not forcing yourself to move in any way that is not comfortable.

Getting out of bed this morning, acute low back pain. I did your video and repeated it after lunch and at bedtime without pain. I am presently doing phase 2 of your spine control course. When is it safe to continue spine control course. When can I restart running. Thank you so much for your help and expertise. Lorraine

You can restart SpC when your pain is inbetween 4 - 6/10 or lower.
Reintroduce very short and gentle running...like 10 - 20 m. If that is pain-free, then you can gradually increase the distance/intensity.

Coach, are the exercises valid if I feel low back pain on one side (left) ? My low back on left side cracked after getting out of bed. And once i get into bed at night starts to get tough again and when i get out until I do exercises to get some blood. Its the first day to mention.
