Nice looking seam roller! 😍
Also please tell which glue to use if not bitumen to stick epdm rubber on terraces
Are Your Products Available in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada? I would like to add three new downspouts. I need 3 Drain Outlets & Instructions. How big should the round hole be? Thank You
You need to lap seal your patch’s people also you need to clean the area with a cleaner before applying your primer and your patch does not need to be that big that’s a waste of material you only need to have 2inch of coverage around your whole
Agree on the lap seal when youre done and the cleaning and the patches. Where im at need to be at least 3 inches. (also its supposed to be cut out from a 18inch roll also called curb flashing which you can make couple patches out of one cut off the roll. from firestone now called elevate roofing products.) skill isnt cheap and cheap isnt skill
You have given me bonding adhesive for my roof. Is this the same as the prima you mention, or do I need to buy again for patch work? I also have the supplied soft seam roller; I'm guessing the silicon seam roller is needed for repairs too?
Hi Michael, the contact bonding adhesive and waterbased deck adhesive are both for the main rubber membrane.
The uncured flashing tapes do require a separate primer normally supplied in a small 250ml tin. If this hasn’t been supplied please give the office a call on 02476667234 and they will get this out on the next delivery for you.
No sticking down the insides of the slit? Is this same for bubbles?
Thanks for this. Question. Is adhesive only when bonding to a deck or iso? Is primer only for use on existing epdm?
Hi Jaime, the water based and contact adhesive is only used for adhering the membrane to the deck or insulation. The primer is used in conjunction with the EPDM tapes, for example your flashing tapes, or joining tapes.
@@Rubber4Roofs thanks pal.
Sir please tell me if we can use liquid bitumen to stick epdm sheet on roof tops
Hi Akash
Epdm is not compatible with Bitumen products unfortunately. What substrate do you intend to stick the membrane to?
