Thanks i put these on my KL right after seeing your mention of them. I haven’t noticed much wind noise from them yet. I measured between rails and adjusted length one side for 1/2 of the difference and the other end loose - Then used a shorter allen wrench to tighten the other end from underneath after they were clamped onto the rails. I’ve watched several of your vids in the last few weeks. Mine is a stock Trailhawk V6 I bought new in 2015.
I don't comment much but I do look forward to your videos. Thank you for the very entertaining and educational content. Cheers Brother, from Ontario Canada.
This may be a stupid question. But on the rails of the Cherokee as you put the cross bars on do they go where like the cut outs are like on the rails there is like a cap that looks like if you put a flathead screwdriver you can pop it off. Is that where the crossbars go ?
Thanks for the video. I have a question. With a little fanegaling could you not have mounted the yakima basket to the existing jeep bars without the cross pieces? Just wondering?
Anyone on here know if there is a dynamic weight limit for the roof of a 2018 jeep cherokee sport. All I find is for the grand cherokee people say it's poor only 150lb then people say for the sport the rails on the jeep are integrated into the roll protection metal of it so there is no posted weight as it's super high just long as your not storing bricks or a cement box up there...
Good question. I'd say it has more to do with weight then anything. I really haven't looked into max size of roof rack. I know rhino rack you put in your vehicle type and it tells you the recommended rack for it. But like I say I think how much weight you carry is the biggest thing. Sorry I don't have a better answer

Good deal! I've had mine for a couple years now and they've been great.

Appreciate it. I've had fun doing it. Hopefully I can get a little more consistent on my Uploads.

Not sure. I'll have to take a look. Hadn't really thought about it.
i have a set on order
Does this make any whistling noises? I had a competitor brand that made a whistle noise when driving between 30-45 mph.
I haven't heard a whistle from them when it's just the cross bars. When I throw up the rack I start to get some wind noise.

Is that the biggest size roof basket you can run on it? I’m looking into buying one and don’t know what size I should go with.

Hi do you still like your cross bars? Are they holding up?
Yeah I'm still using them. They've been great. Zero issues.
What brand of roof rack do you have equipped?
It's a Yakima Load Warrior.
Can it hold up a roof tent weight ??
I've had it pretty weighed down but I don't think I'd use it for a roof top tent.
