@@seanwatson3790 Yeah I need to do a video on it and make the amount of the awning in revenue for me to justify this lol. Maybe I'll suck it up and buy one.
Great video! He’s got a hell of a setup there. I love it. The cutting board is awesome, the whole kitchen setup, the awning and all. The KM3s looks sweet too. They’re kind of like the bow on the package. Hey, nice new yellow JL 2 door!
He hated going to MTs, but we’re hoping they’re tougher for him and don’t repeat what will eventually be shown in the red cone trail guide (he blew two KO2s, blocked the trail trying to get down it, and eventually required CO rescue and recovery, but I’m hoping he’ll redo it with me soon). Thank you… I really didn’t want to trade in the JK, but since it’s my only vehicle, it seemed like the most logical move. It was tough to do a monthly payment again, but I’m liking it!
@@coloradomallcrawlers oh man that sucks! I’m guessing sidewalls? We hit Red Cone a little while ago and my buddy Todd ripped a sidewall like going up the first hill. We put 4 or 5 plugs in it and he finished the trail which was awesome. He had been dying to run Red Cone and then he busted that tire and we weren’t going to let him give up. I had bad luck with Duratracs sidewalls! I thought the KO2s were pretty stout??? I’m a fan of all terrains. Maybe you will detail in your video what happened. Hopefully these do him well. The JL looks sweet! Did you stay with the manual??
Yeah, I use to run ATs and had good luck, but I never put them against as rocky of terrain as we have. Mostly mud covered boulders on the east coast. We should have been better prepared to handle his sidewall gashes, but we had a plan that backfired. Yes sir on the JL, it’s basically exactly the same as the JK, just with a warranty and a payment.
I don’t, big list of potentials tho… just depends on what opens and when. Trying to come up with a plan on announcing rides, but it’s very dependent on my job and I’m call 24/7. So most runs are last minute.
Okay I see what's going on now. I thought Sean changed sliders. What sliders are those? I was thinking about asking FrogFab if they could custom make a set with full coverings like those. Any pros or cons with those sliders? Sure I need to do some more research on my own but which KL sliders have the most secure mounting? Which ones do you and Sean recommend?.
Sean will likely answer tomorrow, but his rocky road super sliders have taken some good hits, especially on wheeler. Unless I find a local welder who can make some, I’ll likely put rocky road rock rails on the jeep liberty once I get it here.
I was trying to ask OXFOOT what sliders he has. I haven't seen KL sliders that have full coverings like in the video @ 2:23 . There are very few pictures of the FrogFab slider on line.
We have a walkaround of it here… ua-cam.com/video/pBqNbZ5qObA/v-deo.html We will be doing a KL durability review in the future tho… Both Sean and Zach will discuss their experience. Just be careful as Jeep voids the warranty on these Jeeps with any suspension modification. If I were to get one, I don’t think I’d lift it, but I still think it could do a lot of Colorado trails. Thanks for watching!
Reluctantly, it’s mine (or the bank’s). Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving it, but I loved my JK and it was paid off. This one isn’t, but I’ll do what I always do, wheel the 💩 out of it.
265 65 r17 bfg km3 which is approximately 30.6. I went down a half inch cuz I was running 31.1 inch tires before but I have noticed the better grip and durability a lot more than the half inch of clearance I lost. I am not a subscriber of go as big as you can always like most people are. My spare right now is under all my kitchen stuff. It would be a bit of a pain to get to but would only take me about 10 minutes to take all of that stuff out to get to it so it's not exactly inaccessible. That said I have plans to buy a pass through tow hitch tire carrier next year which will make my spare more accessible, and I can mount my rotopaxx to it too. My front axles are fine. My rear cvs are torn but that wasn't a result of my lift and was a result of parts I bought from mfc off road. I tried to get him to pay for it since the parts I ordered directly resulted in my cvs getting torn but they blew me off no matter how much I pushed. That's a story not for this post though
Umm. I don't have all the parts of it . Minus the big ladder part. But I don't know if I still have it or not. I will to look if I still do. But if I do have that still, you can just have it if you wanna come pick it up. I'll look
@UCpP8-tdLaiViQORjQjkMAsw ok I went and looked . Sorry dude apparently we threw It in the recycling cuz it was Taking up garage space. It would have fit. Wish you had seen this prior lol

Nice to see Sean back along with his kl Cherokee
Yeah! It’s good to wheel again with him. I’m back in Denver tho so we’re doing Kingston tomorrow… hoping it’ll be a good one! Thanks for watching!
That awning is really tempting. I avoided setting my regular awning at expo because of wind but having this I would have left it out all weekend.
Ya it wouldn't have moved at all I think on you.. It is for sure a purchase I don't regret one bit. And I open it every single time I set up camp

Hello dear friend, excellent upload. I love your camping kitchen . Have a fantastic day:)
Thank you! Hopefully Sean will check out some of your amazing cooking and make some camp versions in the future!

Nice rig Sean!
Thank you!!
Sweet rig!
Very impressive set up!
Yeah, I need to pick up some things from him for my camper build.
Good stuff have one my self I'm building how does the factory racks hold up with the Tent on top
The factory rack did well for him, but he’s now on a gobi rack. He’s pretty responsive on Instagram. -Dewie
@@coloradomallcrawlers k thanks
Nice cutting board Sean, where'd you get it?!?
Thank you . My best friend in Pittsburgh made it for me and shipped out out here for me.
Hahahaha somehow I didn't realize this was you that commented on it lol
Cool set-up. I've read that the roof rails on the Cherokee don't have enough capacity for a roof tent, is that not true?
He talks about it in the video I’m linking here, but he’s had no issues. ua-cam.com/video/pBqNbZ5qObA/v-deo.html
Do you guys know what trail you'll be reviewing next? I'd love to bring out my Trooper and tag along!

Hey Colorado Mallcrawlers,
Is Sean's setup in the boot with the rear seats up or folder? That is great use of space if the rears are still up!
I’m not sure, hit him up on Facebook and he’ll go into it. I think the seats are up tho.
Oh also just noticed me at 2:23
Oh ya huh! Celebrity cameo! Lol

Gobi rack he bought used from a subscriber.

How do i get information on the rack and tent
Just goggle the manufacturer which I believe is listed in the video. I’m pretty sure it’s a gobi rack tho.
what size tires is he running on the trailhawk? is he hiding his spare somewhere? Is that a 3" lift? How are his axles holding up?
