This is probably one of my favorite movies that I will rewatch over and over if I need to smile. I always smile and want to dance and sing when this is on - no matter what my mood is prior. I am glad you enjoyed it!
I thought this was a fun movie and loved watching the dance numbers on the big screen at the theatre. Nice to see you react to this one! I think they make the dances fun and sometimes have some humor, and yes they are sexualized but that’s not the primary focus and I think that’s what makes them not just feel uncomfortable or awkward to watch. We’re also watching her chase her dream and rooting for her.
Great cast and music. Love that Alan Cumming-the guy who was at the ticket booth-got more than a few scenes. The song that Kristen Bell was lip syncing was sung by Megan Mullay who is famous for playing Karen in Will and Grace
Ohhhhh I always love people reacting to this!! This is so much fun to watch already, thanks for the lovely reaction as always :) just wanted to point out that it's not Kristen Bell singing in the one performance you commented on, at that point in the movie Tess still has all the dancers lip-synching to the songs, so it's actually just the audio from the original song's recording playing in the background. Kristen actually has a lovely voice, it's not the same powerful voice type Christina has, but Kristen's great in musicals, for example she's the voice of Anna in Frozen where she sings everything herself as well!
Hey, I’m so glad you checked out this amazing musical film!!! This classic with starring legends is an icon!!! If you loved this film, you’ve got to check out these: Coyote Ugly, You Again, The Devil Wears Prada, and Mama Mia: Here We Go Again!!! 👄💄🫦💋👠👯♀️🎶💛🖤❤️
Please, please, PLEASE watch "Moonstruck" with Cher and Nicholas Cage! Also watch "Jumpin' Jack Flash" with Whoopi Goldberg. Two amazing films that I am sure you will love ❤🎉
So i see you just reacted to The Lovely Bones...Sean (Stanley Tucci) was the bad guy in that! He wanted to be made unrecognizable due to the nature of the film.
Have you ever read a children's book called Where the Wild Things Are as a kid? If you did, check out the 2009 live-action movie. If you have never read the book before then, still check out the movie
I think he’s the other co-owner, but whoever that guy is, the only other thing I’ve ever seen him in was while you were sleeping with Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman and Frank Barone A.k.a. Peter Boyle.
Try checking the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies someday. If you haven't seen them yet or if you did see them, you can rewatch them just like in your rewatch of Spider-Man: No Way Home video
It grinds my personal teeth that a whole generation of feminists think “Burlesque” = “Empowered artsy striptease”. Actually striptease came into burlesque very late in the 1920’s, and the shows were originally a mix of risque’ dance numbers, novelty acts, and a team of fast-talking raunchy ad-lib comics. Me, I hear the B-word,and immediately picture Abbott & Costello at Minsky’s Theater: ua-cam.com/video/EJxLDdIVX6g/v-deo.htmlsi=szc90u0eKDC3oDaX
