I know!! I've never seen this movie before and never really cared to, so I may or may not have read the plot on Wikipedia 😅 When I read that Will wanted to do "assisted suicide", I already felt so bad and scared for Nick ❤️🩹
i should feel bad that i get excited every time nick is sobbing in his thumbnail HAHAHAH but we suffer in solidarity because i cry every time he cries 🥲
This is a great movie though it is very sad. The ending broke my heart and though I can see it from Will's POV, it would still break me if it was someone I loved. I have also read the book which is just as great though sadder with the deeper details and emotions. Though they did not include some things that stood out aside from the story between Lou and Will. Here are some examples for those of you who haven't read the book. - There were two sequels to the first book which were never made into films. "After You." and "Still Me". - Will has a sister called Georgina. - Will's father was having an affair with another woman outside of his marriage with Mrs. Traynor. - Patrick does something unjust after the break up with Louisa. He reveals Will’s predicament to the journalists and Louisa’s involvement. In doing so, Louisa and her family become prisoners in their own home when journalists descend on the Clarke’s house, constantly knocking on the door and ringing their phone. Thus ruining the family’s life’s and becoming the gossip of the town. And in the sequel Lou then finds out that Patrick used the money he was paid for the story to pay his upcoming wedding to his new girlfriend. - When Lou makes the choice to go to Will's side in his last moments, her mother Josie forbids her to go. She even threatens Lou that she will not be allowed to come back to them if she goes.
SO GLAD you watched this movie! Yes it’s heartbreaking in the end but I mean…WHAT a movie! Ya know? And don’t you EVER feel you have to adjust your genuine reaction to these shows/films. Just be you!!! Great reaction as usual!!! Much love from Lake Cumberland Kentucky!!
I can inform you, that there's two follow up books to the first one. And Louisa goes to have a good life after a rough time. Sadly those two aren't made into movies 😔 But "Me before you" is such an amazing movie. My all time favorite.
Jojo Moyes wrote a Trilogy about Lou and was thrilled about the Casting of Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin (Mentioned in the Film tie-in edition) A better comedy with Emilia is Last Christmas from 2019 📚
This movie is sooooo good, but so heartbreaking. I usually won’t cry much in movies but this and Last Christmas were amazing! Please tell me you are doing Last Christmas this Christmas season?
My fiancé also got me a necklace with his name etched on it, but it wasn’t a birthday gift it was just random and the other side said I Love You. If I got that one from Patrick as a bday gift I’d be disappointed too lol
hey nick, i recently watched "isle of dogs", it's a great movie, it's very much in the style of "fantastic mr fox".... probably because wes anderson was behind both.
It’s a painful and hard to swallow ending, and the title applies to all the relationships we see in the movie and examines when it is, and isn’t ok to put your own life ahead of your partner’s. And what the opposite can look like too, just dialed up to 11 the whole way. And you can see throughout every joyful experience that Lou gives him, he can’t delight in it the way he could to put his arm around her during the movie, to not HAVE to ask for help and be able to sweep her off her feet. It’s heartbreaking 😢
One of the best reactions I have seen from you yet, I know the suicide stuff was probably really heavy for you with your sister. I really loved the reaction though and god bless your sister!
This is a fantastic recommendation! I saw it in theaters when it came out and thought it was such a beautiful movie. I never hear anyone mention it, so this was so lovely to see!
Awesome movie reaction! I was wondering if you could react to Wonka (2023) since you have watched the previous two Wonka films by Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp

This movie never fails to make me cry, especially when Lou is singing to Will towards the end. 😭💔
One of my favorite romance movies. Can’t wait to cry with you Nick.
This movie always makes me cry especially the ending 😭
I hope that you eventually react to "Last Christmas." Poor Emilia Clarke, her on screen love life rarely goes smoothly.
One of my favorite Movies! 🎄
I read the book and it’s just as heartbreaking as the movie. The story is beautiful but the movie shattered my heart

This movie wrecks me everytime and I just knew Nick is gonna feel it too. It’s ok I’ll share my tissues 😭🤧
I remember clicking to watch this movie like 4 years ago, no clue what it was about, and was HYSTERICAL at the end. Destroyed me, but so well done.
My fiancé also got me a necklace with his name etched on it, but it wasn’t a birthday gift it was just random and the other side said I Love You. If I got that one from Patrick as a bday gift I’d be disappointed too lol
I read this book. This was a good adaptation of the book.
I love Louisa's wardrobe 💛
You should check out ‘The Last Unicorn’! I think you would like it with its emotional depth and beautiful animation!
Very fantastic movie.
As soon as I saw this pop up i was like "oh yikes" 🥺❤️😂

I saw the thumbnail and my heart sank for you. I love this movie, so thank you for sharing this reaction with us, nick. I know this was a tough one.
I think “The Vow” should be in the mix sometime.
One of the best reactions I have seen from you yet, I know the suicide stuff was probably really heavy for you with your sister. I really loved the reaction though and god bless your sister!
Maybe you should watch Abominable (2019), you’re gonna love it for sure. I recommend you to react it, plus it’s magical.
This is a fantastic recommendation! I saw it in theaters when it came out and thought it was such a beautiful movie. I never hear anyone mention it, so this was so lovely to see!
This is one of the saddest films out there. My sisters keeper is another film that breaks me
Oh please nick you HAVE to watch Cool Runnings I am begging you!!
Awesome movie reaction! I was wondering if you could react to Wonka (2023) since you have watched the previous two Wonka films by Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp
You should watch beetlejuice
Nick can you react to the Peanuts Halloween special for October?
Hiya nick watch top cat the movie 🎉🎉🎉
If you want a good romance movie watch Safe Haven, my all time fave
I like and also dislike this film. It’s very emotional, but I don’t condone the message at the end at all.
"Me Beef Or You" is a weird name for a movie.
