If you are having a one off procedure then FUE is a good option, but if you think you might need further procedures in future to get the result you want or you are a young patient, under 35 years old, then you have to consider how much donor hair you will have left to transplant if you are embarking on several procedures over the years, because in effect you are losing hair density at the back to create some coverage at the front and top, and after one FUE there is less donor hair, if you have another FUE you are likely to have used up most of the available donor area, for this reason it would be worth considering an FUT which is the strip method, so a strip of scalp is taken from the back of your head and the gap is sewn closed.....so you still have pretty much 100% donor area left, and from that strip the follicles are dissected under a microscope....FUT is a bit more invasive but is still the gold standard in hair transplant procedure, talk to a surgeon who does both FUT and FUE procedures and follow their advice as to which procedure is most suitable for you, factors include your age and how many grafts you require and whether you are going to be a patient who would need more than one procedure over a period of time.
FUT was the gold standard 15-20 years ago. The gold standard now is the FUE approach. Look at the statistics. Generally speaking, the surgeon, if he/she is a professional he won't recommend a hair transplantation if you have progressive hair loss, which typically happens between 20-35 years for male pattern baldness. But what doctors NEVER tell you is that you will need several procedures which will cost you more and it’s not guaranteed that your scalp will be completely full…
"sit back and relax" Well, it's not completely relaxing :D because the suffering itself is immobility for 11 hours (depending on how many grafts) the fact is that when your head is anesthetized, it doesn't hurt, but the anesthesia wears off over time and the graft can get stuck in the area where the anesthesia it doesn't work anymore, you can say "it hurts and I'm asking for another anesthesia" but the head is a large area and calling for anesthesia all the time disturbs the doctor's work. So, to be honest, the last 3 hours of the anesthesia don't give a damn and it will hurt as if someone was pulling your hair or pulling it out... you can bear it, but it has nothing to do with relaxation. And ask for a blanket because it's damn cold there (it must be). 20 years? what happened to the DHT?
@@CIKGURAFI DHT ensures that no new hair grew stopping the hair grow and fall cycle but in this case the transplanted hair never sheds it just grows you go to barber cut your hair it again grows as no shedding is there so no need of new hair hair growth stopped by DHT therefore DHT has no impact on transplanted hair
punctated scars from extracted hairs also last for a liftime folks ...

What happens with the spot u pull from. Aren't u just going to be bald there now
Not if you do it correctly. Yes, you thin the donor area out a little, and if you extract too much, you'll notice that. But a good surgeon should extract donor hair in little amounts from multiple areas. A little bit of reduced density usually goes unnoticed. (Not if you have to fill in as much hair as shown in the video though)

Age limit
Amazing
But you fail to tell the people that when you extractor here it does not grow back because you take it out from the root and there is nothing left behind you then take that here and plant it somewhere else so you can see you don't get new hair you replace your old hair in the new place so if the surgeon does a bad job like they did on my hair they take up too much here in the wrong order and leave you bald in other places so you just can't win you just need a very good surgeon people please do your background check it's not worth it
