Right on Rt 176 at the South Carolina-North Caroline line there is an old "Esso" gas station, original building, pumps, Coca Cola sign. Nice place for some photos. They have a lot of art shows at the community center too.
Tryon, NC! Wow! What a beautiful place. It is so nice there, so clean, so serene, so peaceful; just awesome! It's a really nice town with many nice shops and great scenery and atmosphere. Everyone should "Try-On" this place because they will not be disappointed! I know I will be doing just that. Timothy, there is a man in that town who resembles you that you need to meet. I kept seeing him in every shop window that you passed by. It is obvious that he really gets around. I truly enjoyed this walking tour of Tryon, Timothy! Thank you for all that you do!
This place isn’t too far from me. I’d like to check out the downtown sometime. We’ve only been to the equestrian center down there. At Christmas sometimes they’ll have Christmas lights put up and people can drive around and look at them. One year they had a Halloween drive through light show.
@@TimothyFrench Actually I'm leaving soon.can't afford a house here and rentals are insane.Mebane and tryon are were I'm researching.I lived in Newberry SC and wytheville Virginia and I enjoyed the slow pace and the people who were both polite and very pleasant.
