- Air New Zealand touched down on Sept. 17, 2022, at John F. Kennedy International Airport, marking the first of its non-stop flights connecting the city of sails and the city that never sleeps.
If theres ever a long flight I would want to be on its definitely flying with air NZ and no other their track record is spotless and the service is the best
every time i have flown with air nz the service has been terrible, cabin crew has been grumpy and the food aint the best
NY’s JFK is the only airport in North America that has direct flights to five continents.
Great channel , excellent Vids 👍✌
Only one passenger acknowledged the flight attendant at the end..
That's really sad..
Kiwis for you.
AGREED. REALLY SAD WITH THE LACK OF THANKFULNESS FOR THE SAFE JOURNEY.
I think he was groundstaff mate
Too long. I would just find it so uncomfortable. Around 14 hours is my limit & that is hard going
A shame the route is proving so challenging, but the plane is right on the raggedy edge of what's possible (but still completely safe). I want this route to succeed, as I'm sick of all the "hErR DeRr uLtRa LoNg HAuL fLYiNg iS So iNnefFicIENt HuRr DuRr"
Kei te pai Air NZ😊
#Pfffft. The "real" NZ1/NZ2 was Auckland-LAX-London Heathrow-Los Angeles-Auckland on a Rolls Royce powered B747-400. I recall that flight fondly.
It was originally London Gatwick but moved to Heathrow in the late 1990s. I flew on it in 1994. And it lasted in total from both airports for 36 years. Until the pandemic but it was going to be pulled anyway as most people were getting off at Los Angeles.
I think Air New Zealand should starting making A380s to meet more demands of 17 hour flights, you know what I'm saying
no 350's are more needed for a route this long
@@brianaviation3072 just hope it will have more seats and legroom for a long 17 hour journey. Otherwise we'll up having a few passengers needing wheelchairs upon landing lol
@@justinsingh221A380 fuel burn would be insane on a 17 hour flight your out of your damn mind
@@whoru9717 Emirates A380 still does 17 hours flights from Auckland to Dubai
The tail looks like an Isis flag 🤣
Allahu Akbar
@@visionist7 I prefer "Alan's at the snack bar" - a little more ambiguous
It's just some maori scribble
Always one dick aye
@@theotherwayofstopping4717 you obviously don't no shit
