@@yammienoob The CB650R is one of the last (naked) bike in the market that comes with an inline 4 setup at the 600cc class. Everything else is a parallel twin with 270 degree offset...
I mean, don't get me wrong- the 270 degree layout is great, it's torquey, it's fun, it's sounds the best out of all the layouts for a twin... but when you have too much of it on the market, it's gonna get boring, common and repetitive...

I find the used ones overpriced and sellers will lie about problems and condition. I looked for a Himalayan near me and there are a few ranging from 3 to 6 or more years old- and still wanting almost as much as a new one. Why would I buy a used bike without a warranty to save $600? The last two bikes I bought recently were MSRP and out the door. Just pick dealers who are ethical in disclosing costs. I just called a dealer looking for two Himalayans (air cooled 23's) and was quoted MSRP for the pair and they'll throw in $300 in service vouchers for the scheduled maintenance on the pair. No fees, no anything... just pick 'em up and register them myself in my state, as they're 40 miles away across the border.

Why Two?...The first one was stolen and the insurance paid me more than I bough it foe and also that insurance check paid for the second one ...Ironically the second one is the better bike ...The Special Edition...

9 bikes in here and my best bang for buck is my 2003 Kawasaki ZR-7S. Paid $2500 for it. Bike completely stock with 21k on the odometer. Costs me $85 a year to insure. Insanely torquey for this displacement. Rarely ever have to take it past 6000rpm. And with 129mph top speed it's "low" gearing can surprise the hell out of liter bikes that have to contend with 185mph gearing (as long as we're below 90mph). Which is most real world riding...

I’m honestly shocked I don’t see more Svartpilen 401s on the road, despite seeing dozens of KTM 390s. Seriously, I live in the Chicago suburbs and I’ve been riding for 14 years and while yeah, the svart 401 is a relatively new bike, they’ve still been making them a few years now and I’ve actually never seen one in person (even with us having the largest cyclegear bike nights in the nation that have had 800+ bikes show up to both of our first 2 bike nights this year so far). I’ve probably seen 30-40 KTM RC/Duke 390s, even ridden a few. Personally, I think the Duke 390 is still the most fun “beginner” bike I’ve ridden. Kinda shocked how many people seem to opt for the R3 or Ninja 400 route. I can only imagine that the Svart is a blast and it looks sick too. I wish they had stuff like that when I started riding

      @richardwarsinske7064 23 дні тому

Until the 2024 models I don't think the Svart was really comparably equipped to the Duke. I had a 2022 Duke and had looked at the Svart but the instrument layout was terrible and it had a very small capacity fuel tank (both deal breakers for me). Husqvarna fixed those two things + the bike looks more balanced to me now and similarly equipped the Duke is notably more expensive so I'd probably pick the Svart now. I'm on a GSX 8S now and am really enjoying it but have to admit I miss the light weight of the KTM.

The Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide Ultra with a few accessories to improve ride quality and a ball hitch will cost a pretty penny initially, but the person riding it will enjoy the hell out of it, and that's worth more than the trike's purchase price by a LONG shot. I'm talking 1,000 yards MINIMUM.

It was 2018. I was mesmerized by my 1290 Superduke. I lived 6 miles from work and so I bought it as a company vehicle and joked to everyone who didn't want to hear it that if anyone at my country's IRS knows anything about bikes and learns about me buying this sledgehammer of a motorcycle for a 6 mile commute, they'd be in stitches. Fun-price is exactly the same metric as smile per mile. The Superduke is obviously worth it. Six years later, still plenty worth it. Bang for buck verdict - no brainer.

I'd be curious to hear what you think about the changes in style for the Svartpilen. I think the 2024 is still good looking but it is starting to look just like other bikes now. They seem to be leaving behind that unique design that everyone loved. Do you agree? Love your channel.

I may have mentioned this in one of your other articles but the Yamaha Tenere 700 is readily available @ less than $9000 currently in the Phoenix area. Transalp's are hard to find so no deals and I don't think they really compete with each other but all things considered I'd consider the Yamaha a better "Bang for the buck" deal (for those looking for a more dirt focused ADV).

MAJOR EDIT….. the Honda Navi is NOT$1800. They are much more like $3000 out the door. You gotta think they don’t just arrive at a dealership. They have to request it, and pay for it to be shipped..
My dad and I went to a Honda dealership to go get 2 , well it turns out the dealership pays at least $1000 to get them shipped from where they’re made to any dealer in America.

I get that this list only includes 2024 modern bikes but for me personally bang for Buck can only be a list of older 90s and early 2000s bikes. So here they are:
    - Honda CB500 pc26/32 hands down the best Allrounder. 1000-1500$
    - Yamaha XJ600s Diversion 800-2000$
    - Honda CBR 600F 4i 2500-3500$
    - Suzuki SV650 3000-4000$
    - Gixxer 1000 K1 4000-5000$
    You're welcome
