Goldwing. did you mention Goldwing? you should include Goldwing.
Not a motorcycle it’s a two wheel minivan
he did, first one
@@monkeyam4743 facts
Look the Gold Wing is fine and all, but what about the GoldWing?
buT yAMMiE wHAT ABOUT THE GOLDDDDDDDDDDDWINGGGGGGGGGGGGGG?
Oh yea totally, I think he should also include the Goldwing on top of that
Goldwing only good for long miles in a straight line? 😂 I beg to differ lol. Many reviewers have touted how well you can throw a goldwing around twisties. Its literally designed like a larger sport touring bike. Great lean angle for its size, low center of gravity, its definitely better than just knocking down miles in a straight line lol
nah
I’ve never ridden a gold wing but whenever I hear someone say that I always think of it like someone saying a raptor handles well. Like yeah it does for a truck, but it’s still a truck.
As a 40+ year Harley rider, I have to admit that I absolutely love my S1000XR. I'm hoping to get the M1000XR in a year or 2, once I get used to the 160hp version.
I rode a Indian pursuit last weekend and still can't get over it
As a 64 year old retired mason my back isn't good and I find I can lean forward a lot easier on a sportbike than sitting on my tail bone on a cruiser. After an hour on a cruiser I'm a cripple for 3 days adventure bikes aren't bad but I'm most comfortable on a sportbike
Just got to the end, I thought the beefalo was common knowledge. There's a small herd like 3 miles from my house.
For the number of combinations, just multiply the amount of option for each adjustable item. For example, 2 seat options, 2 handle bar options, and 2 foot peg options will yield 8 possible combinations. Works similar for lottery, combination locks, etc. (don't forget that 0 is also an option).
Yeah, zero is not an option in this situation. Removing handlebars, seats, or footrests doesn't seem safe.
Traded in my Ninja this year for a Rebel 1100. My back has never been happier.
Awesome! Yeah pretty soon my 2014 Busa will have to go… oh well!
✌🏼😎👍🏼
TURBO IT
Am keeping my 99 busa. bought a 2010 kawasaki vulcan voyger . 12 years and not one problem. So comfortable.
had a 04 Goldwing. Got the "itch" and changed to a 2014 Rocket 3. Now looking for a 2018 to newer Goldwing DCT... 56-year-old mechanic with a bad everything by the way
If cruising your favorite road with the tunes cranked nothing touches a Goldwing
I can attest to the comfort and quality of the V-Strom 1050. It's tech package is more than adequate and while not the most powerful in the class, the lovable v-twin engine and predictable handling make it a great dependable option for touring without completely obliterating your wallet.
Yeahhhh... I'm not ready to give up quite this hard yet. Lol
Harley shade aside, harley, indians shiukd have been included.
Forward pegs, learning forward, lack of suspension travel and vibrating engines are not comfortable
@@ilikelampshades6just say you haven't ridden a new Harley or Indian. Anything 2012 or newer is mad comfortable.
@SirBeck0621 Probably in USA on straight roads. In Europe they are terrible at everything and are a laughing stock
Nice review keep up the good work
I like the idea of linked brakes, but don't know if I would like it in practice. I suppose with ABS it would be a easy way to use maximum braking. Radar cruise control on the other hand would be useful, and I like it on my CX5.
I have a Victory Cross as the name implies an outstanding touring bike with comfort being second to none.
Triumph speedmaster is really Good.
Please a make video dedicated to it.
I’ve had mine for almost 3 years and I haven’t had 1 ride where I wish I was on another bike
Those bikes are all nice. But among comfortable bikes I’d have the Moto Guzzi Mandello 👌🏾
Yammy, you don't mention it explicitly: The most important comfort factor is seating position (angles back/knees/arms/ankles, and arm reach). That's why ADVs sell like cupcakes. The versys 650 has the exact same seating position as the versys 1000.
I personally don’t find super upright bikes like ADV’s as the most comfortable. I like a little forward lean. The Ninja 1000SX, for me, blows the Versys 1000 out of the water in terms of comfort… that little forward lean it has tucks me in just right…
@@sleeper.simulant7327 You do get a little extra knee bend on the Ninja 1k, but I did ride both the Versys 1k and Ninja 1k back to back and still found the Ninja comfortable enough to be an all day ride. The Ninja might be less fatiguing to ride as it is much easier to handle at lower speeds than the much taller Versys. The big Versys is a barge at low speeds, the Ninja just feels like a comfy sportbike.
Yeah but cruisers are better, anything where you can lay back and put your feet up is gonna be comfier.
@@knockitoffhudson3470 I read you. Unfortunately, at 1.92m tall with lower back spine issues and a double neck hernia, sitting upright with hollow back is the only way for me, 'couch-sitting' is painful on the long run. Plus: I need a saddle that allows changing seat position and stretching once in a while. Also, forward controls and a low-seated bike do not allow easily to stand up straight to stretch. I won't stop riding 😎🤘
@@knockitoffhudson3470 that kills my lower back and rear end. A little forward lean so you have some pressure on your arms, some on your torso and some on your rear end I personally find to be a lot comfier for long rides…
Not made anymore, but the Honda pacific coast was super comfy!
3:53 Edd China!! 😊
Lol i love the Harley shade on this channel.
Same. Part of the reason I’m here 🤣
I'm a GSA guy but nothing wrong with Harley baggers. I love the Road King. Almost bought one but the GSA just makes so much more sense
I own a 2007 Electra Glide classic, cammed, chipped and dyno'd at 115hp. And I also have a BMW S1000XR. Brand loyalty is just stupid.
Dude you missed a Goldwing.
I'm loving the existential quips. We're all just a self aware arrangement of atoms bound by gravity to some rock hurling through nowhere special space. Gotta love it.
I did see the H2 which also comes with a ZH2 etc, but what about other sports tourers? I mean Busa engine wise but more towards a tourer than a sports seating position.
You've said the word "conductive" in that gsx8r video that i can't get it out of my head
The new 2024 Streetglides are smooth ngl but the V-twins shake especially the twin cams. Twin can sound damn good but shake like a bi*** and also VRods with proper exhaust is 👌🏻 but as a street biker the only one I really like is the VRods which most Harley folks be hating on which is crazy to me.
Yammie, please do a follow up for best comfort 2 up..
Me and the wife , who are by most standards both tall, are looking for a bike that won't break the bank and is 2up friendly without going full blown cruiser
burgman 400
If you’re looking to stay away from cruiser styling, I’d say the Goldwing, K1600 or FJR1300
I would be negligent in my responsibilities as a Beamer bro to not pitch the 1250 platform. Specifically the GS or RT.
how do you forgget goldwing?
I miss the Yamaha "Star Venture Trans America"
Was the goldwing mentioned in this video?
Sold my Versys 1000 for a Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Pro ...
much more comfortable imo and a LOT more fun engine ...
Goldwing is a FLAT 6, not a boxer 6. C'mon grandpa Yam!
What do you mean? I'm not expert in Goldwings, but judging by the images of the video, that is a boxer engine!
What's the difference b/w the two
@@josephfoster5593 No it isn't the same thing. In a Boxer engine, the opposing pistons are out at the same time. With a Flat engine, the opposing pistons share a crankpin, so they move in unison versus opposite.
What about the RT1250?
Love my 02 Goldwing. Nothing smoother
Yammie noob can you do a video why underbone motorcycle are popular in Asia
This seems like a covert Harley ad. Besides a Honda Goodwin Harleys are the most comfortable. I have never been a Harley fan but Harley dudes have let me try their bike and they are comfy. As much as I used to make fun of bagger I am considering one now that I am getting older
surprised the R1250RT isnt mentioned here, cops here love driving them alongside the gsa, and only cops...
But what about the Triumph Tiger? or did I miss that in the video?
I agree with all the bikes on the list but..... I rly wanted the desert X to be there :(
Again your forgetting the kawasaki ninja 1000sx. I would love to see you review one and get your opinion about it.
Crazy to think he didn't mention Indian or H-D.
HD cruisers aren’t as comfortable as you might think… it’s more a status, better off on any bike mentioned in this video…
Cap brother.@@sleeper.simulant7327
Cruiser riding position puts pressure on your tailbone, causing low back pain. They're comfy for an hour or two, not all day. Though HD Pan Am could easily be on this list, I've heard it's on the cushy side for an ADV bike
You just weren't paying attention....Of course it was mentioned ...Said it is crap!
BMW C400GT is the Scooter to rule all motorcycles. Comfort second to a couch. nimble. small and did I mention comfortable..
Tried one, they are comfortable but it is only really at home in the city. Motorway is too much of a chore at higher speeds.
@@Stratocasterhead51 Faie enough. I find 100-110kmh to be its happy spot but not 120.
I wish to get a Goldwing one day ☺️🥰
Yam! have you seen the ducati dealership scam in India?
The exclamation mark (!) in math means you take the factorial of a number. You multiply your number by every whole number smaller that it itself. For example : 6! = 6×5×4×3×2×1 = 720
Oh look who's sucking up to the Honda Gold wing!!!!
But what about the goldwing?
Guys I am just planning to get my license for motorbike and Im looking my first chopper bike. Do you have any suggestions considering Ive never rode anything beside my scooter haha My budget is up to 5k 6k €
There is a reason the Goldwing is the standard for touring bikes. Nobody even comes close to it imho.
! in maths is factorial. ie you multiply the number by each number under it. For example 5! = 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1
I got a big American boat for ya, Honda VTX 1800, big, comfy, and can give some sport bikes a run for their money in a straight line.
Cruiser riding position, that tailbone pressure point
Listening to this video on my way home from a seven day Moto camping trip my neck and my ass is on fire and I’m dreaming about a tracer nine GT while I am on a rebel 1100
My wife and I are two of the five people with a Pixel
I guess im the third lmao, love mine tho
whats the most comfortable beginner+ bike?
Versys 650. Beginner+ for most riders, could be a good beginner bike for a tall rider.
The fact that there's no Africa Twin DCT here is heresy
All DCT Honda basically goes here
DCTs never belong on a list.
NT1100 should take the spot
The Grom is the pinnacle of creature comforts on two wheels.
At 6'2" and 270 lbs I could not imagine even attempting to ride a grom or navi lol
@@rickosborne6521just add giant apehangers and stand on the seat. Bam you fit.
Just no.
@@jameshill8498 genius! This will greatly save on my motorcycle payments 😂
add a ruckus to that list lmao
The real reason yammie left harley and indian off the list is because nearly their entire lineups would be here😂
Indian Chieftain Dark Horse.
He hates American V-Twins. You will never see or hear him say anything positive about em. Especially Harley.
Cruiser riding position will give a lot of people low back pain in an hour or two due to the pressure on the tailbone.
Tiger 1200 is the most comfortable of adventure bikes and sports tourers
Are the BMWs built in Germany? So many of their cars are not
bmws 1250RS is my dream bike. and its been my dream bike ever since i popped a squat on one a couple years ago at a motorcycle show that no longer happens. comfier than a couch i swear
HOW CAN YOU FORGET THE GOLDWING???!!
Kinda bummed indian and harley werent included in this one.
! Are used in code as a NOT the same. For example 2 != 3. It is also a way to get the opposite value of a bool
!false = true.
You forgot to put CFMoto Ibex 800!!
It's nothing to write home about. It's comfy, but all ADV bikes are comfy. Otherwise it has appalling fit and finish and a ridiculously twitchy throttle. I demoed one after seeing the hype and was extremely underwhelmed by it. The only CFMoto that impressed me was the 450SS, that is an awesome little sportbike
Ride the Harley Davidson Road Glide CVO ST.... I double dare you
Buy an ADV bike or a Goldwing. What I gathered from this video.
Alerts the authorities whenever a poor person looks at your bike 😂😂😂😂
Concours 14
How about comfortable smaller bikes?
for me is the RT1250, but there´s something lovely about the BUSA
I have to say it. It's 2^3
Factorial. In a math formula (not coding) ! Means factorial. 🤓
BUSA BOYYYYYYY
confused in public education noises.......wrong its a KTM supermoto with the sheep skin seat
Wait, a KTM supermoto is comfy?
I have a 2014 Ducati Diavel STRADA. A Diavel purpose-built for 2-up riding...it would not make this list.
Literally didn't even mention the GOLDWING
Honda ADV160 ✊
ayyyy, i've only things about that scooter here in asia, alongside the pcx
Ok but what about the gold wing? Seriously though it felt way too cramped for me.
You're no Spites Corner. He was your only asset. Now you are nothing but a Noob! Poser
Oof, I have a google pixel. And there goes my self worth.
Clutch, throttle, shift lever, front brake, rear brake, no abs, no bs…its all u need..OGs am i right?
Why is the military creating standards for phone dropping?
Bruh no Africa Twin?
Really convincing outro... I seriously can't stop watching
Dude clearly the most comfortable way to tour is a chopped, hardtail Sportster.
I don't even have to watch the whole video to know 100% the Sportster isn't on the list. 😂
Yo where's the hayabusa
@yammienoob, need a ducati scrumbler guide pls
I’m about to get hate because I am Harley guy but… if you can afford it… ultra limited. The only big downside is the price. $32,500 is a lot but it is not much more than a Ducati Multistrada.
Forward controls are still always going to put pressure on your tailbone, that ultra bougie HD seat just makes it take longer for the low back pain to start. Baggers might even be worse about it as the boards are usually higher up than the pegs on a typical cruiser.
@@mrvwbug4423 Floorboards on newer models are in the spot a mid control would be and most come with highway pegs so that you can move your feet to various different positions.
I absolutely love my ultra limited. I picked up a 2014 about two years for 13.5k and she had less than 20k miles. Been all over the southwest on her and loved every mile of it. And the cushy pillion seat is hard to beat if your wife likes to ride along!
I might as well stop watching since you already mentioned the Goldwing 😂
Honda Monkey hands down 😂
I'm 43 and have back issues so comfort is high on my list. Definitely can't argue with the goldwing and the K1600 - ridden them both and could definitely crush a TON of miles on them. I know you hate all things bagger on this channel, but your bias is def showing when you've got a v-strom near the top for comfort and not a single HD or Indian bagger lol. Yes, most of them are quite slow by 2-wheeled standards, though my Challenger's 122hp/128tq certainly gets the big girl going, and comfort is pretty much the #1 concern... why else would they all be ridden by old guys? lol other than just because they're expensive
So, cruisers and baggers are not in fact as comfortable as people think they are. Forward controls combined with low seat height shift your weight onto your tailbone, causing low back pain. Cruisers are actually bad if you have issues with back pain. The Challenger is a little taller than most baggers, which does mitigate the effect a bit. It's also the only bagger where the performance matches what I would actually want from a bike like that, the rest are just painfully underpowered.
I don't Like it but the 1290 Super Duke GT would fit also in this list. I mean it's basicly the KTM equivalent to the S 1000 XR from BMW. It's a Super Duke for Touring as Strange as it Sounds 😅. (Sure it's ugly and a "Daddy" Bike but it's a Bike Like the Others on the list)
It's a fairly aggressive riding position, much more aggressive than the S1kXR which is basically ADV bike upright. SDGT may look like a naked bike, but the riding position says OG sport tourer, even the Ninja 1k SX which is an OG style sport tourer has a less aggressive riding position.
The tracer is for the euro squids
No boosted busas on the market yet?
Next up. Affordable touring bikes.
Howdy
I will take the nerd role and tell you there are 8 diffrent combinations .thanks now go watch yammie noob😊
