Had a chance to buy my brother 2020 Streetfighter V4. I can say 100% in every aspect the Ducati is a superior bike. You anticipated my gripe: there is no defense to ranking the Streetfighter 2nd and the M1000R 7th. I can't argue with your first choice, but I can't ride it, either, without damaging my neck.
As someone who has ridden both street fighters, it just feels more special, and it has a nice character. The M1000r just feels bland, and the way it nannies you, it doesn't feel as pounchy or fast as other 200-hp nakeds. On paper, it is a great bike, but I fully understand why it's so low on the list, and Street Fighter 2nd in my option, Street Fighter v4, is literally the best motorcycle currently available; it does anything and lacks nothing.
“the way it nannies you”…not following this. Like any high-tech bike, if you don’t want the rider aids, you can turn them off. Could you please clarify?
@@JackPanitch-hy1ws It's not about the rider's aids but how they function. A street fighter has the same rider's aids, if not better, but the bike doesn't feel as bland and castrated; even if you switch them off, you cannot change the power delivery or fueling. The new BMW sports bikes feel to me like they always second-guess your choices and never trust you. The Ducati bikes feel like they have a telepathic connection with you, and the bike always does the things you do and trusts your choices. For this reason, I never connected to my 2019 S1000RR and sold it after 2 months of ownership. It was so disappointing since I really loved the 2014 S1000RR I had.
@@Fearless154 Trust is a two-way street, except neither machine is sentient. I remember standing outside the Suzuki dealership, nervous, getting ready to ride a new GSX1000S home. There was an older guy standing around admiring the new bike, watching me gear up, and I told him I had never ridden this type of motorcycle before. His response was a big smile and the reassurance that it was just like any other motorcycle: the bike wouldn’t do anything I didn’t tell it to do. I tell myself there’s no magic except what we make through the poetry of riding. I just got to know how the bike reacts to my commands and make ever so small adjustments. Thank you for clarifying.
I own a 2021 Panigale V4s and a 2022 ZH2 SE. I love them both, but the ZH2 is definitely my favorite of the two. I've put 18k miles on it since I bought it new, but I've only put 6300 miles on the ducati. I got the H2s ecu tuned last year, and the power gains make it an absolute demon. Is it ugly? To some sure, but I stay comfortable on the seat even during multi-hour rides, can absolutely annihilate supersports at the twist of my wrist, it's not terrible in the corners and above all, that supercharger flutter is always a head turner.
I have a white m1000r, it is a lot cheaper than the black version (cause black is all carbon + carbon wheels) but it is fully packed (stock) and has an adjustable camshaft and all electronic helpers you could wish for.
My guy was just riding and made an error, happens to the best of us and not many people realise until it happens to them thats why many call it a "Learning Experience" So the one's making negative comments please chill with it...
I’ve pondered over the KTM, Ducati and Kawasaki for a while now and it’s hard to not keep looking back to the ZH2. The ZH2 seems like such an audible and visceral experience and being a little on the ridiculous side is the whole point of hyper nekkeds.
Respectable list. A) Good to see you can critique your picks. Every bike has pros and cons. B) Triumph speed triple: Maybe a great bike, but the headlights.. just NO!!! No, no, no... Part of owning a bike is the look-back appeal (without losing your lunch). C) I think the H2 is an awesome motorcycle, but... I would not own one. There has to be a balance of power and lean for a good ride. H2 has all the power, but leaning it into a curve? Seems like work with all the top-heavy weight.
Ranks hypernaked bikes and proceeds to rank a bike low because it's a powerful torquey bike. Then ranks a bike he deems not the greatest for track or street use, No1 overall. Makes total sense. I'm betting they put bikes on a dart board to decide what place to put them in the video.
I own a M1000R, for $21,300 for the non competition is a great value for the performance. I may look for a used M set of rear sets or nice set of aftermarket rear sets. Then it'll be perfect.
Ya know i'm hopefully about to buy a hyper naked. Something to replace the FZ1. Even though there's nothing wrong with the FZ. I was going to go MT-10, cause i've been a Yamaha boy these last 5 years. But you do make a good argument for the ZH2...
As a Ducatista of course I don’t feel the ZH2 is in the same category, let alone in number one!! However when you factor in the price I can’t make no argument!! For me the bmw is really good in this category, having ridden one, it’s chief’s kiss👌better than the streets fighter on being a normal rider!!as I’ve mentioned before in your comments I own a Panigale V4s and for me if I want that performance I want aggressive riding position with fairings!! But with bmw I’d take the single R over the double RR! The single R just feel better with that power output!!
@Yammie Noob how you got the MV at number 10 because of it's price when the base model RS which has the same motor, brakes, suspension as the RR and comes in cheaper then the base model street fighter V4S? Just curious is all, you should compare base models to base models if you are going off prices.
Can confirm about the tuono V4 lol but it's everything I love in a motorcycle. I don't see myself wanting another any time soon. Things too darn fun!. Great video!
ive had mt10, duke1290, and stv4s... The streetfighter is hands down the better bike. is the price tag worth it? maybeeeee not. in my opinion if youre only using it to ride on the street just pick ur favorite engine sound and color.... Youll never touch all they got on the street or track.
At 30k+ for "the good one" and getting no cruise control, it's hard for me to consider the SFV4 a better "daily" road bike than anything below it that does have cruise. TUONO TIL I DIE BABYYYYY
My real grievance with the Ducati versus the Aprilia was the electronics. And no fuel gauge? I mean come on! That’s just ridiculous. Aprilia’s electronics are just top notch and at such a price point. Though I think the Ducati looks better, I picked the Tuono V4 and I don’t regret it. So much fun! Yes, it does get a little sour waiting too long at stops and slow traffic. But man oh man! When you roll on that throttle and make it go, it’s just ridiculously satisfying.
I get what your saying about if ppl buy bmw bikes for clout on IG . Don't let me have one ill forget to posy because I'm riding tf out of one . There's a difference between ppl who flex and ppl who actually ride and or drive something made to go fast .
To be fair, the V4 ducatis cost half as much to check and adjust valves as the old (or even new) V2s. You also only have to do it every 15k miles now so.. not too bad. ~4 hours labor isn’t a giant reason to not buy one.
Lol good this is your list 🙈😊 the heavy straight way rocket ship wins the test? Well I understand the roads in USA is straight. But in Europe the z h2 is down on the list. Good ranking, but its personal like he said, if i wanted a hyper naked i think i went for the Kawa to, but my stif 59 year old 6.5 ass is no longer suitable for this type of bikes 😩
The only thing that has kept me off of the ZH2 is the looks. I know they never will but I just wish they’d make it in a solid color instead of this black with highlights thing they have going on.
I have to get the valves done on my Streetfighter V4S this summer 😢 and it ain't cheap. I'd still rather have the Ducati over the Kawasaki any day, the Kawasaki is too heavy.

It's not about the rider's aids but how they function.
My daily bike is a 23 MY-10 that’s badass in my mind that’s number 1 because the only ones you picked over it are a street fighter V4s and the ZH2
ZH 2 gang
Ranks hypernaked bikes and proceeds to rank a bike low because it's a powerful torquey bike. Then ranks a bike he deems not the greatest for track or street use, No1 overall. Makes total sense. I'm betting they put bikes on a dart board to decide what place to put them in the video.
😂
he did say it was a subjective ranking but i get your point
Or they are sponsored
Your bike did not make it, sorry.
ktm wont let you hit bro
I own a M1000R, for $21,300 for the non competition is a great value for the performance. I may look for a used M set of rear sets or nice set of aftermarket rear sets. Then it'll be perfect.
If Ducati can put cruise control on thr SFV4 lineup I’m 100% in.
LOVE THESE KIND OF VIDEOS YAM . KEEP MAKING GEMS LIKE THIS ONE
The Z H2 is a badass bike! I want one.
ive had mt10, duke1290, and stv4s... The streetfighter is hands down the better bike. is the price tag worth it? maybeeeee not. in my opinion if youre only using it to ride on the street just pick ur favorite engine sound and color.... Youll never touch all they got on the street or track.
What about! Triumph speed triple 765rs ?? That’s a very bad ass bike! Looking to someday get one!
At 30k+ for "the good one" and getting no cruise control, it's hard for me to consider the SFV4 a better "daily" road bike than anything below it that does have cruise.
TUONO TIL I DIE BABYYYYY
10:23 My Steed. Low maintenance and it howls. So fun.
Spot On' - I wanted the ZH2 until I drove the H2' SE-SX fer Touring
I'll go with Ducati Streetfighter V4S.
Exactly. The Tuono is dialed in for daily v the Duc. Sincerely a long time duc owner..
I get what your saying about if ppl buy bmw bikes for clout on IG . Don't let me have one ill forget to posy because I'm riding tf out of one . There's a difference between ppl who flex and ppl who actually ride and or drive something made to go fast .
Streetfighter, Tuono Factory, Superduke before ZH2 and MT10. But to each his own.
I bought the M1000R.... Yes its awesome.... Damn it Yammie...
"Money is no object" and literally 5 seconds later dumps on the brutale for the price ??
would personally fit the 1250 r, never rode it but seems like it accelerates like a rocket
It does
I think you could probably shuffle that deck, but you had all the right bikes in it.
To be fair, the V4 ducatis cost half as much to check and adjust valves as the old (or even new) V2s. You also only have to do it every 15k miles now so.. not too bad. ~4 hours labor isn’t a giant reason to not buy one.
How about a review on the smaller bikes for us geezers? And for those who don't like too much wind. Is Triumph still making triples?
8:45- Speed Triple.
Lol good this is your list 🙈😊 the heavy straight way rocket ship wins the test? Well I understand the roads in USA is straight. But in Europe the z h2 is down on the list. I have ridden all 6 bikes on your top 10 list (from 6 to 1) and for me the list would be in total different order 😊 but nothing wrong with a different opinion 👍😊
you can get a ZH2 AND an MT07 for the price of the Ducati...and the maintenance is still cheaper :)
Love this segment
Why does the super duke have a V twin? It should have a V4
continental gt650 is the best 🖤
Good ranking, but its personal like he said, if i wanted a hyper naked i think i went for the Kawa to, but my stif 59 year old 6.5 ass is no longer suitable for this type of bikes 😩
Yammie Noob 4 president, Bikes 4 all!
Been watching for a few years and I’m surprised he hasn’t added a Zh2 in the stable
Damn you Yammie, I'm still buying a Tuono!
The only thing that has kept me off of the ZH2 is the looks. I know they never will but I just wish they’d make it in a solid color instead of this black with highlights thing they have going on.
Money is no object, but your first talking point is how much it costs... 0:50, 4:13
Tuono is a blast to ride!
I agree I love my tuono v4, just took mine out yesterday for the first ride of the season after a crummy winter.
I still have problems with calling Aprilia Tuono a naked bike.
Honda already made a street fighter style naked it's called CB1000 Hornet
Just can’t get over the look of the zh2
Great review, loved it. Of course the whole class is a bit ridiculous. Hard to use their fire breathing capability in the real world.
I have to get the valves done on my Streetfighter V4S this summer 😢 and it ain't cheap. I'd still rather have the Ducati over the Kawasaki any day, the Kawasaki is too heavy.
13:50 lol! you can take yammie off the turbo busa but you can't take the turbo busa out of yammie
if only they made naked turbo busas, a trailer park boy can dream.
Z H2 will always be king. Nothing like it, plus it’s so damn cheap you can get a second bike compared to other more expensive options
What's the best bike for casual day-ride type stuff 2-up? I don't need lots of power, and don't want an enormous Goldwing type bike, I just tote the wife around.
I will admit, I was pleasantly surprised when Yammie announced a Kawasaki as #1, I was thinking throughout the clip.. Why haven't you mentioned a Kawasaki yet 😅
SOUNDS like you maybe didn't actually ride a not-even-out -yet 1390 Superduke? Sorry if I misinterpreted. I'd like to know where you found one--I want to ride it after owning the V.1 and V.2.
LETS GO TEAM GREEN :)
Ride a well equipped b-king!
It will make you feel stuff...
No MT-09?? I rank it better than the MT-10 personally
That is bang for buck? Price and plus service costs for me.😅
Back years later and this guy is still making the same clickbait shit. Gotta respect the hustle.
