Hi Crystal- I’m saving this to make next because I am making my very first beanie! I’m 64 and have been crocheting from the age of 15 but just afghans so this year I decided to try new things. Anyway- I’m making your pattern- The Crochet Stitch Sampler. I’m enjoying working it up in a lovely amethyst color. So thank you so much!
I have crocheted for years as well, only afghans. I am loving Crystal's channel and learning new stuff. I made my first beanie the other day and so tickled with it. Here's to us having more fun! 💜😁
@@irishh3llkat185 yes! Here’s to us and here’s to Crystal also! 😊
Ditto on the hat!!!!
@@amypelc8466 😊 💕
Must be something about us boomers... Pulling our crochet hooks out and trying new things! I, too, only made afghans but in the last few months I've completed beanies and a shawl! My next attempt will be a poncho for the fall. I really enjoy Crystal's tutorials and being able to learn from the other BOD fans. Thanks everyone!
I'm so blessed to have found you. I haven't made anything in years . After my mom passed so I'm ready to start back up I'm now 62 and I'm so excited to find you. Today I found 2 different types you have done. Thank you so much. Blessings to you 🙏
This is very pretty.
Sounds easy…… enough
Yes I agree it will be pretty for a scarf or a blanket now if I can just finish up the ones I’ve got so I can start on another one
Just watched this again because I was bored. Lol. But I think the back side looks really pretty. Kind of like a star stitch. Saving this one!!
Beautiful & easy crochet stitch Crystal. Thanks for sharing! x
You are my saving grace! I have 6 grandbabies and one more coming in July. I started making the older ones a twin size afghan. I am so thankful for all of your tutorials so I can make each one special. I absolutely hate reading patterns, I learn best by watching. 3 down and 4 to go!!!
What a simple, lovely stitch! Think I’ll be making some placemats with this ❤️
Congratulations on 3 blankets done, and having 4 more Grandchildren to go. Happy Holidays! Renae
Love the stitch, pretty and easy when you don’t feel like concentrating. Which seem like all the time🤷♀️
1:44 you are so kind to share with us your talent❤
Thank you. I have an ear warmer that my Grandmother made me years ago. I'm wanting to copy it with some modifications but couldn't figure out what the stitch was. This is it. So double thank you.
Thank you!! So many possibilities with this stitch. I would like to figure out how to do a shawl with it.
On the half double row, I see sun beams. Such a lovely stitch. Well done.
Such a nice stitch. I am working in a roving, 30% wool yarn, and not enjoying it at all! I am tempted to frog it, and do this with a worsted. I thought I was ordering 6 skeins of this yarn, but when it came, I ordered 6 BAGS! So I now have 24 skeins of yarn I hate working with. So I am trying not to quit, and get comfortable using this. It may take me a very long time getting used to it- like YEARS! 🙄. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials, yarn talks, and your generous giveaways! And big hugs for your auction for the furry ones we love so much.
Thank you so much for sharing. I am using this lovely stitch to make a little pillow. It's quick and easy to work up and gives an interesting texture.
This is another very pretty stitch. Now, to figure out what I'm going to make with it 🤔
I’m making a sweater for my granddaughter using this stitch. Going to be so pretty.
Thanks for the yarn eater heads up on all your stitches.
Thankfully I’m retired, as quickly as a notification appears, j can go check it out. Your work is so amazing.
I think this pattern would make some great washcloths. I generally use I love this cotton yarn for washcloth but because when you wash that yarn it loosens up so much, I use a g hook for mine. Can't wait to try this one out.☺
Love love love this stitch!!!!
I would love to make a purse with this stitch, been looking for a good stitch for my first purse.
I'm going to use this to make a cardigan❤ thank you so much
I was looking for a stitch to make a baby blanket for our newest great-g-baby to be, wasn’t finding anything I really liked and decided to look thru your stuff and found the look I was wanting, now to get started, Thank you for your tutorial for a simple stitch that looks awesome.
I like this, am going to use this for gifts next Christmas.
Im making this one again I made one when you first showed this stitch thank you .😊
Thank you. I am planning to make a blanket. I will use this pattern. Thank you.
Thank you Crystal. I like this pattern. ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. I'm 72 years old and have relearned to crochet with your amazing tutorials. I want to make a blanket with this stitch and feel confident that I will be able to. Again, thank you.
Thank you for the pattern and directions. ❤
That will make a beautiful top!!❤ I love how you get super close so we can see everything you do. Thank you so much!!
I agree. We'll said!
I like the way this looks. Will definitely try it out. Thanks!
Beautiful stitch! I’m working on the service project “Scarves for Soldiers.” This will be my next scarf.
Thank you Crystal.
I like this combination. It's a 2 row repeat and for some reason I really enjoy doing half doubles because I feel like I'm moving along faster. Thanks Crystal this is going on my list of scarves to start making for next winter. It'll take me that long to get enough done lol, now I just need a matching beanie to go along with it.
Thank you for this it will be on my to do list .Just need to get more yarn, but my other half has promised me a trip to the Turkish markets..so I should get back with a good stash..
Love this great for baby blanket
Hi Crystal
Working on a baby blanket using this stitch. I always have uneven edges. Going to single crochet an edge to straighten it out. Your directions are very clear.
Going to try this for a garment
Hi Crystal,
Thank you for this beautiful stitch. I’m going to try it for a baby blanket❤🦋 Many blessings 🙏
Thank you for this lovely pattern!
Yes, both sides are very pretty, Crystal. I love that it’s not a yarn eater! Thanks for the yarn usage scale. ❤❤❤

This is a great pattern for blankets for nursery in maternity ward ,no holes , thankyou .
This is beautiful and simple, I love it! I also love that it's not a yarn eater! Being on a strict budget, I have to watch costs. Can't wait to make this one 😍

Crochet is my way of staying sane...😌
I have made SO many of your patterns and always like! I have been a subscriber for years!
Blessings!!❤
Thank you for your tutorials. This morning I woke up with the TV on and I heard your voice making a round potholder. I love how you always tell us the number of stitches we should have at the end of each row. ❤
This is another great stitch for placemats. Thank you, Crystal!
Love that stitch
Thank you Crystal for another simple awesome tutorial. I'm going to see how a cotton dishtowel will look. I like to make dishtowel, dishcloth and potholders as gift sets. Have a Blessed day 💖.
I like that stitch a lot! Going to do a swatch of it. Then a wash cloth. Thanks Crystal.
Hi Crystal! Love this tutorial! I enjoyed learning more from you. I don't know if you know, but I had Chrome open on my phone, Google showed this video. I thought, I know of Crystal! I hope it brings you lots of subscribers, as you are a fantastic teacher! ❤️
Beautiful stitch pattern
I really like the appearance of the pattern on both sides of the piece. Thanks for another great tutorial ❣️
Hi Crystal, I watched to end and had to watch again to write down the pattern. I love the look of this pattern. Thank you.
I love watching your stitch tutorials, Crystal! It gets boring doing the same old stitches over and over again. I have been making pot holders for xmas this year with cotton yarn and the thermal stitch. I like the stitch because it is such a thick pattern and has no holes. But I am slowing down. I need to make some runners for my tables with some of your new stitches. Well, new to me. Thank you!
I wouldn't have known it was that easy! Love it
Hi Crystal how are you doing tonight I'm doing fine tonight thank you for sharing that a very beautiful color and very beautiful work thank you for sharing stay safe 😊 ☺
Thank you! You too!
Very pretty stitch! Looks like prairie grass, but also reminds me of yucca or agave. Thanks for the clear instruction and for sharing with us!
I like that stich. I'm going to do this stich next. I like stitches that are not to complicated. My goal this year is to make blankets for my grandkids before Christmas. I'm shooting for 6 of them and possibly 3 parents. 🤞
I love this stitch. I think I will use if for a baby blanket I am getting ready to make. Thanks Crystal for another new stitch tutorial. I would love to learn more stitches that used to be popular everything on UA-cam tends to be very similar. ❤️🧶🐥
A very pretty stitch that looks as if it will work up quickly. Would make a lovely baby blanket. Thanks for the tutorial!
This is such a pretty stitch! Simple but elegant. I think it would make beautiful baby blanket. ❤
Thank you for your tutorials and everything you do for people and animals Crystal. I started crocheting when I was a young child, but after working my life away until I became disabled, I did some crocheting in my spare time, but it was always things I had always done, now there are so many new stitches and ideas I never thought of. This keeps my sanity. Thank you again for everything.
Very pretty stich Thank you for teaching me
This stitch was super fun on the hat… am looking forward to trying it back and forth!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I was trying this stitch last night and it wasn't working, thanks to you now I know why! You're an awesome mind reader Crystal!
I'm going to make a rectangel shawl. Love This stitch.
Thank you, Crystal, for another beautiful, easy to follow tutorial. I'm looking for a stitch that I can use for a rectangular poncho/baby blanket, and you are who I turn to first. I want to make my niece a poncho that she can use while nursing, but then she can also use it to cover the baby's car seat or use for a blanket, and this just might be it. She's due in May, so I don't want to have something really dense and heavy, but I want something that will cover and look pretty. Thank you again, Crystal, for being such a wonderful teacher. Lots of love and yarny hugs 💗
thank goodness i found you again!!!! i love your videos they are easy to follow!.
Love this stitch. You have so many patterns that I've enjoyed. Thank you Crystal.

I make for my friends, thank you 👍👏🏻
Nice tutorial. This might be a nice stitch for a summer top. Thank you.😊
I think so too!
Thanks for all your tutorials, you do a great job of getting right to it and not taking forever explaining every little thing, "that we don't need". I make blankets, shawls, hats and fingerless gloves, for cancer patients. I love all the stitches you come up with. Thank you!!!
