Hi Crystal- I’m saving this to make next because I am making my very first beanie! I’m 64 and have been crocheting from the age of 15 but just afghans so this year I decided to try new things. Anyway- I’m making your pattern- The Crochet Stitch Sampler. I’m enjoying working it up in a lovely amethyst color. So thank you so much!
I have crocheted for years as well, only afghans. I am loving Crystal's channel and learning new stuff. I made my first beanie the other day and so tickled with it. Here's to us having more fun! 💜😁
Must be something about us boomers... Pulling our crochet hooks out and trying new things! I, too, only made afghans but in the last few months I've completed beanies and a shawl! My next attempt will be a poncho for the fall. I really enjoy Crystal's tutorials and being able to learn from the other BOD fans. Thanks everyone!
I'm so blessed to have found you. I haven't made anything in years . After my mom passed so I'm ready to start back up I'm now 62 and I'm so excited to find you. Today I found 2 different types you have done. Thank you so much. Blessings to you 🙏
This is very pretty. Sounds easy…… enough Yes I agree it will be pretty for a scarf or a blanket now if I can just finish up the ones I’ve got so I can start on another one
You are my saving grace! I have 6 grandbabies and one more coming in July. I started making the older ones a twin size afghan. I am so thankful for all of your tutorials so I can make each one special. I absolutely hate reading patterns, I learn best by watching. 3 down and 4 to go!!!
Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. I'm 72 years old and have relearned to crochet with your amazing tutorials. I want to make a blanket with this stitch and feel confident that I will be able to. Again, thank you.
I am making an afghan for my 9yr. old grandson. I will use this stitch as one of the stripes. Thanks for this and your other tutorials. I love them.! They are so pretty and easy to follow. Your voice and method of delivery are comfortable for me to watch and listen to. Thanks again.
Such a nice stitch. I am working in a roving, 30% wool yarn, and not enjoying it at all! I am tempted to frog it, and do this with a worsted. I thought I was ordering 6 skeins of this yarn, but when it came, I ordered 6 BAGS! So I now have 24 skeins of yarn I hate working with. So I am trying not to quit, and get comfortable using this. It may take me a very long time getting used to it- like YEARS! 🙄. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials, yarn talks, and your generous giveaways! And big hugs for your auction for the furry ones we love so much.
I was looking for a stitch to make a baby blanket for our newest great-g-baby to be, wasn’t finding anything I really liked and decided to look thru your stuff and found the look I was wanting, now to get started, Thank you for your tutorial for a simple stitch that looks awesome.
I love this stitch. I think I will use if for a baby blanket I am getting ready to make. Thanks Crystal for another new stitch tutorial. I would love to learn more stitches that used to be popular everything on UA-cam tends to be very similar. ❤️🧶🐥
I like this combination. It's a 2 row repeat and for some reason I really enjoy doing half doubles because I feel like I'm moving along faster. Thanks Crystal this is going on my list of scarves to start making for next winter. It'll take me that long to get enough done lol, now I just need a matching beanie to go along with it.
I love watching your stitch tutorials, Crystal! It gets boring doing the same old stitches over and over again. I have been making pot holders for xmas this year with cotton yarn and the thermal stitch. I like the stitch because it is such a thick pattern and has no holes. But I am slowing down. I need to make some runners for my tables with some of your new stitches. Well, new to me. Thank you!
Thank you Crystal for another simple awesome tutorial. I'm going to see how a cotton dishtowel will look. I like to make dishtowel, dishcloth and potholders as gift sets. Have a Blessed day 💖.
Thank you for another brilliant tutorial. Your videos have me hooked...pardon the pun! I have gone from complete novice to doing more adventurous patterns. Your voice is easy to listen to and you go slow enough to not get lost! Thank you for sharing your talents! X
I like that stich. I'm going to do this stich next. I like stitches that are not to complicated. My goal this year is to make blankets for my grandkids before Christmas. I'm shooting for 6 of them and possibly 3 parents. 🤞
Hi Crystal Working on a baby blanket using this stitch. I always have uneven edges. Going to single crochet an edge to straighten it out. Your directions are very clear.
I love this pattern, and thank you, Crystal. Your channel is a blessing to me. I have to sit so much as I wait on back surgery. Crochet is my way of staying sane...😌 I have made SO many of your patterns and always like! I have been a subscriber for years! Blessings!!❤
Hi Crystal! Love this tutorial! I enjoyed learning more from you. I don't know if you know, but I had Chrome open on my phone, Google showed this video. I thought, I know of Crystal! I hope it brings you lots of subscribers, as you are a fantastic teacher! ❤️
I think this pattern would make some great washcloths. I generally use I love this cotton yarn for washcloth but because when you wash that yarn it loosens up so much, I use a g hook for mine. Can't wait to try this one out.☺
Thank you, Crystal, for another beautiful, easy to follow tutorial. I'm looking for a stitch that I can use for a rectangular poncho/baby blanket, and you are who I turn to first. I want to make my niece a poncho that she can use while nursing, but then she can also use it to cover the baby's car seat or use for a blanket, and this just might be it. She's due in May, so I don't want to have something really dense and heavy, but I want something that will cover and look pretty. Thank you again, Crystal, for being such a wonderful teacher. Lots of love and yarny hugs 💗
This stitch was super fun on the hat… am looking forward to trying it back and forth!!!!!!!! Oh wait at first glance I thought it was the star stitch…lol
Sooooo Pretty !! I saved the link to your video to a list I'm making of my Favorite Stitches. Hmm... wonder what I'll use this one for ?? Hahaha. Thanks Crystal.
Very Simple, Neat, but Daìnty Looking . Great Combination! You have a fantastic way of teaching. Have a Wonderful Time Creating Yourself some new Sweaters just for You. Renae
Thank you for your tutorials. This morning I woke up with the TV on and I heard your voice making a round potholder. I love how you always tell us the number of stitches we should have at the end of each row. ❤
Thank you for your tutorials and everything you do for people and animals Crystal. I started crocheting when I was a young child, but after working my life away until I became disabled, I did some crocheting in my spare time, but it was always things I had always done, now there are so many new stitches and ideas I never thought of. This keeps my sanity. Thank you again for everything.
Thank you for this it will be on my to do list .Just need to get more yarn, but my other half has promised me a trip to the Turkish markets..so I should get back with a good stash..
