I wanted to make a blanket for my daughter. Crocheting is quicker. I came across this great tutorial and discovered this great pattern. This is so easy to understand and follow for someone new to crochet like me (2 months). I have a question, does the result stay as long as the foundation chain? Like if I make a foundation chain that is 50 cm long, will it stay 50 cm long with this pattern? Or should I make it a bit longer?

I wanted to make a blanket for my daughter. Crocheting is quicker. I came across this great tutorial and discovered this great pattern. This is so easy to understand and follow for someone new to crochet like me (2 months). I have a question, does the result stay as long as the foundation chain? Like if I make a foundation chain that is 50 cm long, will it stay 50 cm long with this pattern? Or should I make it a bit longer?
