INGREDIENTS
8 tbsp. unsalted butter (1 stick), room temperature
1 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. kosher salt
1 cup flour
½ cup chocolate chips. Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Total Yield: About 2 cups
Step 1
Gather all your ingredients.
Step 2
First, heat treat the flour to ensure it is safe to eat. Do not skip this step, untreated flour can contain contaminants and is not safe to eat. Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure that the flour reaches 165°F throughout.
Step 3
In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Add the vanilla, cream, and salt. Mix to combine. Then add the heat treated flour and mix to incorporate.
Step 5
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Step 6
Serve and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. -----------------------

Do not skip this step very important all the bacteria from being out side bird and flies flying around, dirt in the fields, being cut by machinery, being in mills is in flour. Some flours are heated in the mills and some aren’t, flour is unsafe to eat raw as it might contain Samonella, Ecoil, Listeria. So how do we heat treat flour Preheat oven to *350 degrees Fahrenheit* *180 Celsius* *Gas mark 4* *160 Fan*.
Spread flour evenly over an oven tray or cookie pan and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the flour is starting to brown and smells nutty. I hope this helps 😊💞

Just get pillsbury cookie dough it’s edible and like $2 for a whole tube.
You could just make any old cookie recipe as long as you heat treat the flour first.
Even adding eggs is fine. Raw eggs are perfectly healthy (look it up if you don't believe me)
What's actually dangerous when eating cookie dough raw is the uncooked flour, since it's an easy host for bacteria.

Don't know if it's mentioned anywhere but after you make it, refrigerating before you eat it makes it even better! The texture gets nicer and it just tastes better, plus it's less sickly when it's cold

HEAT TREAT YOUR FLOUR!
a lot of the times people get sick from cookie dough, even if there are no eggs. avoid this by heat treating your flour:
- easiest way is to heat your flour in the microwave until it reaches 160° Farenheit.
- you can also spread the flour onto a baking sheet, and cook it at 350° farenheit for around 5 minutes

brown sugar, butter, fully refined soybean oil, molasses, cocoa butter, soy lecithin aaaand water.
You didn't expect their actual full recipe, right? Here's why this comment is dumb:
-I have no doubt this is very similar to their actual recipe, just simplified to make at home.
-They never claimed this is their signature cookie dough's exact recipe.
-You said they forgot butter, when it is clearly in the recipe.
-All of these apart from the water are different types of fats, and likely help with the properties of the cookie dough as it must be frozen in their ice cream.
-Soy lecithin is a food additive (perfectly safe, I hasten to add) which acts as an antioxidant and a 'flavour protector' which is no surprise as their products must be sold commercially.
