Huh what’s weird is I work for a cinema chain in the UK and some of the flavours like cherry Garcia, vanilla and strawberry cheesecake we do sell. So they are not entirely exclusive to the US just maybe in the supermarket.
Yes! I always get the cherry garcia whenever it's available in the cinema. I have no idea why they don't sell it in normal sized tubs in the supermarket here. The closest alternative I've found is a cherry and amaretto biscuit ice cream from Co-ops "irresistable" range. It's great.
I'm certain they used to sell Cherry Garcia in supermarkets (circa 2008) too! Feel like they always bin off any "Fruity" flavours which is just disappointing as someone who loved the strawberry cheesecake one!

If you're going to compare Ben & Jerry's, can you also compare like Haagen Dazs? I know for crisps (UK) they've got Walkers not Lays; the Brits also have Tyrell's Kettle cooked crisps.

I was looking for someone to mention this! My absolute favourite! I had one in my freezer for ages that I saved for a special occasion. There needs to be more banana flavoured ice-creams.
The Chocolate Cookie Dough Moophoria is almost always on offer in the UK for some reason, so it's the flavour I now eat the most ^^ My favourite flavour of all time was Bohemian Raspberry but that was a limited edition charity flavour & so it only lasted about a year >< I find it odd that seemingly loads of other people in the UK don't get ice cream in the cinema though. Going to my local super cheap Vue & getting a cup of Ben & Jerry's is one of my favourite things to do ^^
My husband works for an ingredient supplier to Ben & Jerry's Vermont factories. He brings home cases of it. I use it as currency for favors lol. I gave away a full case of Half-Baked a couple weeks ago & I still have 8 full pints plus several partially eaten pints of various flavors in the freezer. It's very easy to get sick of.

You can get them for £2.78 from Home Bargains here in the UK, and they are usually on offer for about £3.00 per tub at the major supermarkets again here in the UK.
I really just enjoy hearing the differences. Especially with the different sizes. In the United States, we do love our soda. And the bigger sizes on everything ha ha smile. I remember when I travel to London about 16 years ago, and their large which was like a 20 ounce, it’s like our small here.
You can get vanilla in the UK, its in a double sized tub, for the same price as the others. Also I asked ages ago to the owners of Ben and Jerrys - Procter and Gamble, what going on with the UK flavours. They said all the flavours are available in the UK, ie Cherry Garcia and Alaska (thou I have in 2021 and 2022 found them in retail tubs in the UK non main stream supermarkets, but in catering sized tubs only, as its supermarkets with are dictacting which flavours are to be sold to the public in tubs and not Ben and Jerrys UK. We also can get just Ben and Jerry's cookie dough on its own (no ice cream) in a packet. Also available in the UK is the new Vegan icecream range, agian supermarkets are dictating the flavours.

I think we don't have Vanilla Ben & Jerry's in the UK because they want to position themselves as being different and more inventive & special than other regular ice cream brands. So all of their flavour combinations are ones that other ice cream brands don't do and they have a limited, more curated collection of available flavours, which gives the brand a more 'luxury' feel 🙂
In the UK we did have cherry garcia as a frozen yogurt in 2010ish, new york super fudge chunk early 2010s too (same time as coconutterly fair), chunky monkey has existed as an ice cream and later as a vegan ice cream, pumpkin pie was about in 2015 and strawberry cheesecake is still around in little tubs.
We used to have the Cherry Garcia in Europe, but it went away for some reason, possibly because cherry isn't one of the standard flavourings here. The Red option here is usually strawberry or raspberry while from my understanding the Red option in the US usually defaults to cherry. Personally I really liked the Cherry Garcia and was sad to see it go.
Cherry Garcia was the best flavour by far. Every one I asked loves cherry flawor. Strange that they removed it. I make my own cherry ice-cream now. But have found CG in B.J. by the scoop places in both Sweden and Denmark. Sweden is very scarce on cherry flavoured sweet grocerys overall, much better in Denmark and Germany.

The supermarkets in the UK make their own tubs of knock off Ben & Jerrys which are pretty good and more affordable. Carte D’or also has a great selection of flavours at the moment. Häagen Daas is top tier in the UK for me but because of the price I will only buy it on offer.
I remember my mom would buy me the 118 ml tubs of ice cream and since it was so small, she let me eat it out of the container. I thought it was so cool 😂
