I always like to showcase the functionality since most people don't even know its there. Please do note I still have my launch day PAL SNES with Super Mario World and obviously back in 1992 I cleared the whole game as it was meant to do. The simpler days...

Idk why once i beat the game it just stays in the The end screen and whenever i reset my game it takes me back to my last saved point
At first I was like why is mine different. I then realized there was some special edition remake of this game that changed some things

All of them. Well, the ones that support 2 players, the single player games can only watched and applauded by the second online player. In "Super Mario world" case, players take turns.

I need help. I bought a nintendo switch recently. I want to play mario, but all levels are enabled and I have 99 lives... how do I have to progress from scratch?
Someone alteady posted that exact same question. You have accidently selected the special 100% save game version. Look further down the game lust for the original game release with no saved progress.

Hey do you know what the difference between 4:3, pixel perfect and crt filter is?
If you look them up on google it should come up quickly. 4:3 and pixel perfect are screen aspect ratios, crt filter is like the name suggests a filter that fakes a crt monitor scanline effects.

A common mistake. You are firing up the wrong game, thats the special version SP. Look up the original game on the game list instead of the SP version.
Can you tell me why I can't reset this game over on the switch. I click reset game but it's still in my finished game? Help
I an not quite understanding the question but I think you are loading up the SP(ecil) version with everything unlocked. Make sure you're playign the proper "Super Mario World" and not the SP version.

You can't. If you start a 2 Player game, the second player is a green palette swap for Mario. Only in the Game Boy Advance version you are able to properly select Luigi as a playable character with his trademark jump mechanic.

Its tricky choose the correct door after u stomp out the p button and certain doors will open
I just finished this game on the switch. Idk if I'm doing something wrong but i wish i could go back to the world after the game says "the end". Also as a kid i remember there were more levels or the worlds looked different (its hard to remember), did they shorten or change the game for the switch or is my memory wack?

Do you also have the problem if you beat te game it doesn't go further then the "the end" screen (the one with mario peach and luigi on it)
It is not a problem, it is as the game was programmed back in the day. It is meant to be "stuck" on that end screen until you hit the reset button.

Remember: It's there but you don't have to use it. Players new to these games however might have never been able to finish them without it and due to the generation gap it is quite understandable.
Did you fix your controllers? Because this game fot me is almost impossible to play, the run button is on X and the jump on B
I have no issues with the controllers, the button layout is the same as the SNES joypad.

@@isabe11e99 you can buy the original nes and snes controllers for switch in the Nintendo store if you have Nintendo online... Makes it feel exactly the same as it was played back in the day on the original consoles

you download the app from the eShop and can play online for about a month before the Switch needs to check online if you still have a valid NSO subscription.
Do you NEED online or can you play it on the switch offline?
No. If you have a valid NSO subcription, the app periodically checks if you have the right to execute the NSO apps. You can remain offline for about 4 weeks (the precise time is unknown AFAIK) before it needs to reconnect online to check NSO validity.

How do you fly I’m so pissed I can’t use the damn cape 😡 I looked up everything no one helps because they are using the original system
Calm down, dude. All you needed to do is read the online manual or find a FAQ online. You need to old "Y" to get a jump start and then press and hold "B" to jump while still keeping "Y" pressed. Once you take off, you can use back and forth to len in and out of the flight. You can use several Cape sages early in the game to practice this. You can also use the cape to glide to the ground bye keeping "B" pressed". From my memory, thats all there is to it. "Y" also uses a useful spin attack.

Nothing you can do unless you keep your finger on "Y" all the time.

Hmmm... you are not the first person to ask me that so I think Nintendo is not doing a good enough job of explaining that. Go to the eShop and search for SNES, you will find a free to download app called "Super Nintendo - Nintendo Switch Online". Once you have it installed AND have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you can play all 20 current SNES games available. Same thing for NES games.

Just shwocasing the mechanic that is available all Nintendo Switch Online emulators. Its nice to have the option there, but older players will certainly skip it.

you need a Nintendo Online subcription. If you have it active, you can download the NES and SNES apps from the eShop. All the games are included in the download, but you can only play them if your subscription is valid.

You can't. In this original version P1 is always Mario and P2 is always Luigi. But unlike the GBA re-release, the sprites are the same, just colour swaps.

It can not. you can play with fully streched screen but its awful. all these games were made for 4:3 TVs.

You can either save ingame, across the many ghost houses or fortresses along the world map or press ZL+ ZR to access the app menu that lets you save state across all the games.

You need to create a new My Nintendo account within the Japan region. You only need to use a differente email and chose Japan as region and you will be able to access the Japanese eshop where you can download Famicom and Super Famicom online as well as Japanese exclusive demos, etc. It will be the same for Nintendo 64 and Mega Drive.

Both this game saves at ghost houses, castles and switch palaces. But you can simply use save states using the app itself.

You need a Japanese eShop account. Log into the eShop with that account and just download the Super Famicom - Nintendo Switch Online app. This is very useful because the Famicom Swtich Onlien App already has several different games (I'm sure some Super Famicom exclusives like 'Fire Emblem' and 'Supe rFamicom Wars' are probably on the way as well) Even better: you can get Japan only Game demos as well the same way.
i think if you swap your switch language and region to japanese, it allows you to play the super Famicon games
Nope. You need to have a Japanese eShop account, enter the Japanese eShop, download the Japanese eShop Super Famicom Nintendo Switch Online app and that is how you an play the Japanese version of the games.

Do you have an active Online Switch account? Even if you don't, you can go and download both NES and SNES Switch Online apps from the eShop but the system will only let you boot them if you have a valid Nintendo Online subscription. All the games are still there.

Wrong David. Not only did I play it to completion back in 1992 when I bought my PAL SNES with "F-Zero", I wanted to use this video to show off the rewind features onf the SNES online emulator. Plus the correct name of the game is "Super Mario World". Entiendes amigo?
