And this kind of thing *right here* is why you can't "just leave the homeless people alone." The whole place gets absolutely trashed. Also a really good example of why keeping even abandoned properties maintained is important at a city-level.

The property owner needs to be held accountable for allowing the lot to get so out of control and become a inviting spot for vagrants. Properties like this are a public nuisance.

It's a shame people can't have respect for the property they are squatting on. Those poor neighbors next door are probable grateful that mess is gone.

To any person doing this type of work, one phone call to the power company is all it takes. They will immediately tell you if there is power, or not, to a building. Better to be safe than sorry. A great job on this property.

If more cities maintained places like this then these issues would be less likely to happen. It’s great you are getting a layer of the dirt too so if there are needles then at least there will be a lot less this way. I’m sure the neighbors appreciate this being cleaned up as well. Thank you!

I've watched Devin in a couple of these area's. Yhat is a great service. I also watch several Lawn people that go in and mow and trim up empty lots and around abandoned homes. See people complain about those hard workers asking why they don't just mow for homes that people live in. This is why. To keep our community clean and safe for the neighbors.

When I was homeless, I didn't trash everything or set things on fire I had a trash bags and I kept my area clean and I used a grill to cook and keep warm so not all homeless people are like that also I have had personal experiences with some homeless people who are like that and they trashed my dads back yard and destroyed his property

When we put up hay on the farm we didn’t complain when it was over 100* but we knew that’s what makes good dry hay for winter feeding but the temperature was just opposite in the -20*. We just remembered how hot it was and that warmed us up a little but most of all was that double heat wood that we we’re sweating while cutting it and sweating when we burned it in the winter. Our bodies got used to the temperatures and I get tickled at my kids when they are freezing to death shoveling snow or sweating to death on the riding mower.
