Not all homeless people are addicts and drunks. I got injured, couldn't work for a year, spent 6mos in the woods. But I always kept the camp orderly and took my trash to the dumpster.
Trash is the biggest reason nobody wants them around and the first thing to draw attention to their site

Don’t make excuses for the homeless. That is private property and the owner now must foot the bill for cleanup. Trespassing is illegal. There are numerous resources for the homeless. Enough is enough.

THEY DON'T WANT HELP......unless it's money to spend on drugs. They'll only accept a place to live IF they can do drugs inside. Wake up.

I lost a live oak tree during a hurricane in 2020 , I planted it when it was 1” in diameter and that was 30 years ago! When the hurricane hit and uprooted it, the base of the tree was 44” in diameter! The rootball was 12 high in the air with the tree laying down! I was sick because it was such a healthy and good shade tree, I was so upset that I wasn’t thinking about firewood or anything when the guys came over to clean up my debris! I lost that big oak tree, a cedar, a weeping willow and 9 pretty good size pine trees! Thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻

Devon, Just a thought for you... if you're going to do.more of these jobs, you might want to consider adding a waste reduction shredder to your arsenal of toys. SSI Shredders out of Oregon might be the device youre looking for. Their shredders would shred all of that material down to a single haul for your local landfill. Plus those shredders don't care about wood, nails, steel tubing or anything. That entire homeless camp would fit in one 20 Yard dumpster.

Homeless camps up in the midlands have grown a lot as well, especially in the Red Bank/Lexington area. This region has seen explosive growth in new home construction to accommodate the exodus of people from up north. As a result, whenever a plot of land is cleared for development, they have to do the same thing you're doing in this video and perform an almost HAZMAT-level cleanup of the land before it can be surveyed.

I have watched your videos before, but it was weird watching you clean up an area I don't live far from. It is one thing to be homeless but another to be trashy homeless. I have family members who are homeless right now in Myrtle Beach, and it's sad, but they have burned their bridges with the family. You can do so much to help someone, especially those you love, but when it comes to helping and they still steal from you and do drugs on your property its time to cut the strings.
It is so much nicer driving by the areas that are getting cleaned out. No seeing half dressed people who are dirty and don't seem to care. These areas are not far from the beach. Go and wash off in the water, wash your clothes. I've helped in the soup kitchens. One was close by there years ago. It seemed like an endless line of people.
Thank you for doing such a great job cleaning all the trash and shrubs out. Once the shrubs are gone and the trees thinned out, they go and find someplace else to live.

Is there a tourist boom over the warmer months? Pushing low income people out of housing. It happens when summer season staff come in needing housing so landlords let apartments to 3 or 4 people, getting more money. It happens in my area.

It defies logic that people would choose to live like that. It's so crazy here that we have to call for police presence to mitigate the angry ones.

The mulcher you are using throws out large pieses that are as big as a human leg. Too large to be called mulch. Just this past week one was used on another post that turned out what looked like saw dust. Much better for mulching for yards. Just thoughts from that 80 PLUS year old lady.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Maybe if I country would come up with a good reason to help these homeless family, we wouldn't have these problems with the abandon homes. Have the houses fixed up, put a homeless family in it. Let them help you with there new abode. They would surely love that. This country spends trillions helping other country's take care of there housing problems and places we destroy with wars, but not our own people, we bitch about the homeless, and do nothing to help out. And to this great country, not only is it just normal habitants that are going through these problems, it's are war veterans. We should be ashamed that so many veterans are homeless, they fought to protect this country, only to be tossed to the street when they have nothing to come home to. I hate this, I'm ashamed of this. Come government, take care of these poor people.

Dont put.a homeless family in it, unless they can prove they know how to take care of things, like the yard, etc. many homeless have mental issues. Ortheychoose tobehomeless to avoid responsibility. It’s the individual’s job to take care of himself. The government isnt supposed to. If you want to help a veteran, great! Let them come live with you. You give them a place to stay.

      You're a fool.
95% of homeless are addicts who don't want to live inside unless they can continue to do drugs inside.
4% are mentally ill (and often addicts) who don't want to live inside with rules.
1% have fallen on hard times and want/need help.
95% of these "poor" people will not participate in programs if they have to get off drugs.
THEY CHOOSE TO LIVE like this.
I worked on skid row, Los Angeles for 5 years.
