5300 miles on my '21 Fireball yellow Meteor. No performance mods per se but a careful break-in and changing to quality full synthetic oil at 2400 miles has made a big difference in smoothness and quiet operation. Very comfortable riding position. Perfect bike for city streets and country roads. I'm averaging 81 mpg (US). 55-60 mph is the sweet spot.

I just bought my first Royal Enfield yesterday. At almost 62 yrs old, I had never been on a road bike that small (350cc). I took it for a test drive and was VERY surprised at how it handled. It is low on power on the bottom end, but I expected that. The dealership is on the main drag in Joplin, Missouri, so I had to "jump" into traffic. The 350 Royal Enfield Meteor handled it great. It had less than one mile on it when I began my test drive. The dealership is limited on accessories for the Royal Enfields, so my wife ordered a luggage rack and windshield online while we were waiting to sign the paperwork. I am very happy with the bike so far, even though I have to travel 125 miles each way for service. But, I knew that before I bought it. The bike is supposed to get around 90 miles to the gallon. Time will tell on that. I like things that are different, and this bike fits the bill.

Im glad u guys are loving this bike.. I bought the supernova blue as my first bike at 10th july 23. Learned riding bike in just 18 days and then covered 520km in a single day, that too without a backache.. If u r experienced, 700km can be easily covered in a single day without any problem. Glad to have this bike.

Fantastic review from someone who has actually ridden the bike with attention to detail.
Clutch is heavy. The top speed should be 80mph making it more comfortable to cruise at 70. That’s the only faults I can find.
It has so much character it makes you want to ride it everyday. It’s reliable and fun. That’s why it’s well worth buying.

Only limit of this bike is speed 75mph but still you can travel 70mph even with pillion. Normally i cruise at 60mph and at this speed this bike can be all day long. @@gmmotomedia I am 71 years old and I am told I ride like an old woman and that's fine, as I know if I fall off I won't be getting back on again. To me the pleasure of riding is cruising and filling the senses, either in Portugal, or Thailand where I spend winters. The Meteor is a great platform for that. Also it's hard to look cool at my age and this bike does it. My Enfield is in Thailand, here in Portugal I am a mod and ride a Vespa, but am thinking about a Meteor. I ride everywhere with the Missus and she says it is comfortable. I think the Indians have the right attitude to bikes, did you watch the Guy Martin trip there, that is such feel good vid?

I have a 22 Meteor. It's now has a stage 2 DNA filter kit and a Red Rooster de-cat exhaust. It will pop the front wheel up when hitting second gear now, and gets to the 75 mph speed limiter alot sooner. ( I wonder if that limiter is getting It's reading from the rear ABS sensor? 🤔😎)

The limiter runs off both front and rear abs sensors and isn’t able to be removed with a remap in the UK, yet. It’s also separate from the engine rev limiter so even with the speed limiter removed you don’t get past 85mph. I’ve done 6000 miles in the first year on mine. I find with the dna cover it’ll pull much better now and gets up to and cruises at 75 far quicker and for long periods very happily.

I love my 350 Meteor too. But I have to say it is not true that the mirrors are vibration-free. They vibrate out of the place you out them. They get loose and drop down so you cannot see what is coming up behind, which is dangerous since the bike is so slow. There is another review that I saw on YT wherein the owner comments on some of the good and bad things. He says it is too slow. Everyone else makes excuses for it being too slow. Going up hills with cars and trucks coming up your exhaust pipe - he says - is a drag. You have to drop down in gear and drive with the engine at high rpm and you have to get tf out of the way or get hit by drivers who are not slowing down to admire your machine. Also he points out the clock thing sitting beside the Speedo. It found it be useless because he could not make it sync to his cell phone to have the Google map thing functioning right. I thought I was the only one with this problem because my cell phone is trash. I cannot make any RE app to work. This reviewer said he could not make it work either. Because the thing is garbage. It cuts out - like my cell phone does - and it jumps to other programs when you need it most. And RE should have installed a tachometer instead = since, so he claims = they have this "eco" thing on the Speedo to let you know that the bike is running at a speed condusive to best gas consumption and least amount of pollution - i.e "eco"-friendly. He says that seems to imply this thing knows the engine speed. So therefore it knows the number of rpm's you engine is turning. So therefore a tach could have been attached with no problem, as opposed to the useless timer/clock/defective map thing. Makes sense to me. I have already paid for my bike and I love it. And I have only ridden it 700 km, on city streets and country roads and some on the highways. Still breaking it in so I have not gone over 80 km an hour. Much. But I am not confident about the bike's ability to accelerate fast out of dangerous situations on the highways. Which is something every biker has to be concerned with.

I'm getting very tired of this "entry level" tag that idiots are attaching to the Meteor. Even though, a beginner could do a lot worse. I've been riding bikes for about fifty years and recently bought the Meteor, mainly because of my advancing years and the need to get a slightly more handleable machine. There is NOTHING entry level about it. A competent and agile machine that ticks all the boxes. Fun to ride, easy to handle, cheap on the fuel, very comfortable to ride.

It’s very efficient and it will be very reliable as the engine is very understressed
