- I've been working on this for about a month and its FINALLY finished! So, this is my channels 100th video. So seeing I've mostly being making Star Trek vids, THIS is a gift to all you guys! I give you a journey through Federation space with my DSC Enterprise-A. I was originally going to go to the Bassen Rift and the Risa after Alpha Centauri. But I'm not that good at making nebulae just yet so I changed course. If you get a map along with this video, you should see I made the ship movements as close as I could to the direction of the next destination.
Because of that, after I got to Vega and was already making the ship warp forward, I noticed from looking on a map that I was on course for Maxia. But seeing I wanted to stay in Federation Space, I decided not to. Then I thought about going to Starbase 54, but then I have to make a Starbase 54 and I was being a bit lazy lol. Sooo I decided on Seginus on the edge of Federation Space. (at lease by the maps I was looking at)
I haven't forgotten about part 2 of my Vengeance vid so stay tuned that IS coming in the next few months. And I haven't forgotten about the orthos for this vessel. Besides making this vid, I had to do damage control with the computer seeing both my hard drives where pretty much full (10GB of 1TB, 7GB of 2TB). So with this new 4TB drive I can now make more vids and ships. Seeing I render pretty much daily, I guess thats expected lol. Anywho, as always.....enjoy :)

No navigational lights? A ship going to warp within the solar system? Disappointing, you should do some research!
@DocHarpie There are nav lights clearly on both side of the hull. Might want to look a bit closer next time. As far was warping inside of a solar system, examples are as follows: Enterprise (star trek 09), Enterprise E ( Nemesis, leaving Romulan system), Voyager (every single intro), Enterprise (several TOS episode, even one remastered aft warp jump from orbit), time travel technique requiring a warp jump in system to slingshot around the systems star, Defiant (jumps to warp within system to catch Runabout from detonating the primary systems star) all examples of insystem warp jumps...clearly, YOU need to do more research. Not to mention the entire notion you cant jump to warp within a star system that clearly has a massive amount of space inside...is ridiculous. Again, take your own advice and do more research before telling me what you think you know.

Don't forget in ST:III when the Enterprise went into warp just after clearing Spacedock.
Star Trek contradicts it's rules a lot.
Sharps have been shown warping with a solar system so many times in almost every Star Trek TV show and film, even in TMP where at the beginning they had to leave the solar system before warping, they warped out of the solar system after Vger left earth.
Outstanding creation. I'm sure Gene Roddenberry would be amazed to see how talented and devoted fans are carrying Star Trek into the 21st century. Peace and Long Life.

This has inspired me to write a non cannon story about a constitution class refit put back to service after the Dominion war. Her mission, to explore space, test the technologies of tomorrow, and to represent the Federation in all her glory. These refits where utterly beautiful.

Other than that nagging little detail, looks pretty good.

Even though I still have mixed feelings about JJ hyperwarp, your work still blows my mind.
knytrydr73 i kind of like the jj and discovery warp look. Somewhere out there must be a real scientific explanation of what it would look like to be at warp. I’m sure of two things. It would look distorted from light bending through the bent space of the warp field and that technically the stars would move way slower even at maximum warp. But you know it’s for theatrical effect that they move fast.
One day in the future someone will build a working enterprise that looks and feels like the real thing. Even if it’s considered an ancient form of nostalgia compared to the ships and the people at the time.

I like this look of the Constitution Refit Class U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A especially the look of the warp engines it sure would be neat if they made the Constitution Class Enterprise from Star Trek Discovery look like this.
Noice! I think some sun, (JJ light beams) in the background when the Enterprise is pulling upward away from Earth. I like the nacelles.
Just as beautiful as the original refit Enterprise. This version of the ship deserves a physical model. Great work on your design.
Always have loved looking at the design of the ship with the music that’s always what made watching Star Trek magical.
Even though I dislike DSC, great work on this refit design interpretation.
I enjoyed the jj films and have no real issues with those films look and feel and ship designs.
In fact, I think the JJ 1701x's address many of the design issues and flaws with prior tos and TMP designs.
I like the flat upper and lower saucer surfaces vs convex, concave, beefier nacelles and struts, nacelles heavier in front vs back, real bridge window, and the step feature with windows as shown on your saucer top.
Great work and details on your nacelles, well placed blue highlights, especially rear slit

I really love the new enterprise redesigns for discovery into strange new worlds! Especially with the new special effects technology they have now you can see just how maneuverable and graceful the old ships could be, back in the old series we just had the bulky ship models which never could fully do a really good ship battle.
Interesting variant on the Constitution Class refit design. Beautiful video, and I love your warp effect. I’d LOVE to see what you’d do with the Phase II design of the Enterprise!

Been a trekkie forever. At around 2:20 I adore the profile and effect you've captured. It looks slightly as if the ratio of width to length is a tad wider than the original but actually I really like that and the nacelle underside illumination. Brilliant. Well done.
Love the different ways you have the Enterprise entering warp. Reminds me of the Next generation episode "Where No One Has Gone Before".

Ahh, the Constitution II Class! A classic Starfleet design that was the jewel in the Federation's crown for decades! And not just any Constitution II Class, but USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A! Woo-hoo! This had to have been after Admiral Kirk was found guilty of disobeying a direct order from a Starfleet admiral and demoted to the rank of Captain.

I'd like to point out that Federations ships are normally not supposed to go to warp while in the Sol system, presumably due to Federation HQ being on Earth.

This one looks like the Discovery Era Enterprise refit you should submit this design for a refit on the Star Trek Online for the Discovery era Constitution class Excellent redesign of the ship and i do agree with Gotham Filmwerks on his comment Gene Roddenberry would be proud
The speed change to warp seems a bit jarring, but from what I know about the trek warp drive if just try to accelerate to warp 1 the Lorenz dilation like at impulse makes it impossible.
You have to jump instantaneously to just past lightspeed, than can acellerate at leisure.
Okay, I’m confused, why did you add a secondary shuttle bay to the primary hull extending back making the saucer feel really bulky... also, isn’t that where the impulse deflection crystal (and the emergency fusion engines) are supposed to be mounted? Other than that I actually like this design, love the purple deflector, though I find the blue glowy bits underneath a distinct disimprovement on the rec deck windows she used to have... 8/10 ^_^

Stealth bombers don't have running lights unless needed
Could you do some ships with ablative generators? Like the way voyagers worked and not the way the do it on STO cause it was really fast and I liked the speed they did it on tv and id love to see a Klingon or Borg or any alien ship with a generator

Don't get me wrong, that does not take away from the fact that this looks fantastic!

While your cgi work has some great movement and sounds and ideas, (like TOS Enterprise encounter with the cube space buoy), the rendering looks artificial and passe' with little detail. Reminds me of the old film 'The Last Starfighter'.
So is this the Discovery Enterprise refit?
