It's good seeing you with a proper dirt bike. Off road riding is so much more fun then street riding. I'm looking at a leftover KTM 690. I need to get back in the dirt!!! Enjoy my friend.
I'm not sure because the hot start has nothing to do with compression, the hot start actuate on the carburetor to change the fuel/air ratio. Could it be that the decomp lever and the hot start cable got inadvertently swapped?
@@AlbesADV thanks for responding! So the thing is ....no they were not swapped out. I have been chasing a low compression problem for a while. Valves are in spec. I was about to do a leak down test but figured I'd push the hot start in ( I have the lever on handlebars) since I did not try that. Compression came back and started first kick. If I pull the lever out " not engaged" it loses compression.
On a simple system like the one from the YZ, it is sufficient to just drain the fluid, fill the reservoir with fresh fluid and bleed the system to get rid of the air.
Albe, quanto tempo!
he is the sort of guy id buy anything second hand off ....with confidence ....!
Thanks Michael

Awesome video salute from cali 👍🏼
Thanks Pedro 😀👍
Sick project man, I get my F800GS on Monday! Very excited.
I bet, the f800gs is a great bike.
Im having an issue with with the hot start.i don't have compression unless I engage the hot start. Any thoughts?

That is super weird, don't know what to say 🤔
@@AlbesADV
Ha me neither. Thanks anyway
Nice
LOL will I be seeing you pulling some air and popping wheelies on coming videos with that bike?
Lol, yes and probably crashing once or twice.
@@AlbesADV you really selling this bike I seen on cycle trader??
Yes, the project is completed, not much more I can do to it so it's time to let it go and focus on the other bikes 😀
@@AlbesADV I'm interested in it but this was be my first big boy bike an have no idea on maintaining maintenance etc
You can watch my videos 😁 and just follow the maintenance manual, it's easier than you think 👍
How would you do a proper brake fluid flush?
On a simple system like the one from the YZ, it is sufficient to just drain the fluid, fill the reservoir with fresh fluid and bleed the system to get rid of the air.
Please I need the plugs on the back of the bike that you change in the video. thanks
Hi Raul, I got them from bike bandit, in the swing arm section
oil change at how many kilometers?
Depends how and where you ride, usually every 25 hours, I'm not sure how many km that is
@@AlbesADV thanks bro
