What about the vacuum lines under the manifold there a t peace with a Air line going to the EGR cooler what happens to that and in the middle of the EGR there's another hose
I'm really struggling to get to the second hex bolt of the turbo inlet pipe. Its so close to the vacuum pump. Mine is an e70 30d. I'm going to have another go at it today. This time I'm going to remove the front cross member.
Thanks for the video. Can I leave the EGR cooler pipe as it is when deleting the EGR ? because you mentioned @ 11:40 that its not gonna do nothing anyway. Just that its easier to blank the EGR and not the pipe, because I don't hv the tools to remove the fan and stuff to remove and blank the cooler pipe going to the exhause manifold. Many thanks.
I have an e90 330d with faults showing additional water pump and the glowplug module and my thermostat isn't working, is there a module controlling these parts that could be at fault or are these common faults that I should change out first? Thanks
@@xcofcd thanks for the reply, it was actually a video on here that claimed the "electronic control module" runs alot of the electronics in the engine bay including the aux pump, the glowplug module and the thermostat, do you know if this is true? I cant find much about it online.

makes no sense ? have you got brain issues or you cant read, " I DON'T GO FOR MOT STATION I CAN USE VOSA SYSTEM FROM HOME WITH MY LOGIN TO MAKE MY OWN MOT AND PUT MOT ON MY CAR JUST FROM SITTING AT HOME"
Camera angles if they was perfect it means I ain't doing the job properly. as it means all of you can see but then I cant hence why my arms are all in the camera and also considering this is a BIG car so its not easy to show everything. and I will state again EGR is NOT part of MOT NOX is not checked on a MOT still to this day and if you knew anything about MOT and regulations you would know that NOX is not checked and never will be. thats the only way they can tell a EGR is not in place if they started doing NOX testing which they don't.
My faulty EGR was causing me serious problems so I have disabled it by simply disconnecting the vacuum hose and blocking the vacuum hose off with a screw. Everything fine now and no engine fault lights albeit there is a code in diagnostics stating EGR disabled which I obviously already know! I don't understand the added benefit of the removal and blanking kit install except as you say improving access to front of engine by removing the piping. Am I risking having any problems without doing all this malarky?

Hi and kind regards from Germany, i like watched close to all your m57 videos this evening. Why because right now im considering buying either a bmw e83 x3 as an 3.0sd or 3.0si. On the n52 vids ill might find my answers...especially on the waterpump...im really divided right now😅
hello mate. have question about EGR delete. If M57 has mechanical EGR system are its juts not easy to unplug vacuum and make it blind and that's it. EGR will stay in closed position and gasses from exhaust can't get in to intake and air from cooler only will be sent to intake? Thanks for all videos and stuff you uploading awesome what you are doing. Good luck.
Yes , you will get engine light after removing egr. Also if you remove egr then your dpf will get blocked after a while. Recommend to do both and then take it to your local garage for a map
