It reminds me of a grinder used in chicken farms. You can use it for grinding corn or bone, both of which is needed for egg laying chickens. The hand wheel is made to be used with a drive belt going to a drive shaft for use with a donkey, steam donkey, wind turbine, or a gas motor.
I honestly would love to have one of these to grind up bones for both chickens and as a source for calcium known as bone mill in gardening, I usually take a sledgehammer and a metal bucket LoL.
I've never seen a bone grinder so I didn't even know the handle was broken. But you did a superb restoration on this century old grinder. It works like new. A beautiful restoration is a great way to start the new year. Thank you and smiles from the USA.
You find the most interesting things to restore, and you do it well. My favorite thing is her demonstration at the end of the various tools and their use.
As I watch you restore many things, my respect for you and your attention to detail makes me very impressed. To see someone love what they are doing goes beyond expression. I never get tired watching your abilities. I'm from Beaumont, Southern California the west part of the USA.
I love this channel! The sandblasting is fascinating to watch; it is like painting in reverse! And your wife is adorable! Keep making these great videos. (From Minnesota, USA)
my grandpa used it ti grind oyster shells for the chickens. also egg shells and cooked chicken bones for the hogs..Ir is a beautiful piece of old machinery that can be used as art. Blessings and stay safe.
It’s the Kitchen Devil of its day! It grinds, it crumbs, it flakes bread and even soap! In the days before soap powders and soap? liquids for washing laundry, people flaked bars of soap when preparing to wash clothes.
I have seen small grinding machines but never this large! Excellent restoration! I loved all the things you ground, Veronica! God bless you both in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ!
Another terrific blend of craftsmanship and artistry in the restoration of this grinder. Wishing you and your family a blessed new year. Greetings from NE Ohio, USA. Peace friend.
I think ground up bones were used as fertiliser on farmland - I don't think I just made that up! Beautiful renovation job Radek, I'll have a look at Veronica's new channel now.
Здоровский млынек, не знал что такие существуют. Ручка из анкера гениально! Точильный станок... я прям себе такой захотел. На вашем канале впервые, но когда увидел ключи из Lidl уже догадывался что услышу чешский :) подписался на ваш канал.
Great restoration, this grinder is what I would call well built, but again your crushing bone.y’all never fail on your projects, keep up the great work.kudos 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Excelente trabajo y presentación de su funciones , y como siempre excelente restauración , saludos a vos y a tu bella familia desde Venezuela ciudad de Maracaibo.
New video !!! I am very glad !!! Happy holidays to you all !!! I was really looking forward to the new video !!! You made me happier this Sunday evening !!! P.S. I'm writing through a "translator" if something is wrong, don't be offended. I was blocked from comments on one of the channels. Russian Russian was written emotionally and beautifully, then translated into English, and then back into Russian. It turned out to be an ugly "tirade" that could have been written by a mentally ill person. I contacted the author of the channel, explained the situation, laughed at what had happened. Comments in unblocked me. And this is not the first time this has happened on different channels. I'm sorry that I wrote a lot of off-topic videos. Once again, Happy New Year and Merry Christmas.
Happy New Year to you too :) Yes, it is true that the translator translates incorrectly into languages other than English. I have experience with that too.
Okay you got me again, I didn't know what a bone crusher was, or what it was used for. But even so, the restoration of this one was definitely top notch. Thanks for sharing this video and information with me. Great video enjoyed it alot. 👍👍😁😁🇨🇱🇺🇸
After having watched several of your restorations, I can appreciate the amount of engineering. I now see where Hans Ledwinka got his brilliance. Very much in keeping with Czech technical know-how. 👍 As a side note, I don't understand a word she says, but Veronika is a gorgeous woman.
Oh what a beautiful job, and so nice to see all the different things you can grind through it! Always a delight to see one of your videos, thank you so much
My uncle had one of these on his farm. He used by boiling old deer bones, cattle and chicken bones to use at bone meal for fertilizer. Worked wonders on vegetable gardens. he would also use it on fish bones and scales, and would sprinkle over his tomatoes. His tomatoes were as big as grapefruits every year.

I'm sorry...
Steam donkey? Wut?
@@vincenttrigg4521 lol.. It's just a steam engine. It got this name because it replaced donkeys/horses as the power source 😊
We call this a stable engine - "stabilizer"

Yeah I figured it was used for gardening or something. Can't use ground bone for much else really.
Yes, that's right, and more, bone grinding mills for hens were made in our country. I read that in the past, soap was also brewed with bones.
