Thank you very much! I have another installation video coming out on Wednesday but it's a much simpler job. If there's anything else you're interested in seeing let me know!
Just put the cobb 6 speed shifter in my 01 sti, and the whole shifter sits too far right, can't get into reverse with the console surround on, did you have any issues with yours?
@@TheGCJourney Nah I wasn't able to, ended up cutting and modifying the shifter rod with a slight bend to counteract it, but all works well now, cheers for the reply
Hello! I’m doing the exact setup but my shifter is a Kartboy. Regarding the Torque Solution solid shifter u-linkage, their site states to tighten to 11 lbs. if I do that it’s super tight. I noticed yours had a little movement. Did you end up tightening more when installed or did you leave it as in this video? I don’t want it to be too tight (worried it will be an issue once installed. Thank you for your time!
Hello! I did what I felt is right but I can’t guarantee it’s the correct way 😅. I tightened it by hand and then gave it a quarter turn back to allow some play. So far it’s working fine 😊 Hope this helps!
Thank you for this video, very helpful!
I like your GC8, waiting for a track day video :)
I'll have to finish the car first 😉
