I purchased a few of these after watching one of Darren’s previous videos and I’m a bit addicted to MotionVFX now ! Thanks Darren as per usual great and useful Video
Your videos are amazing. I jumped from Premiere Pro to Davinci Resolve Free a few months ago. I found your videos after I bought the Speed Editor, which comes with Davinci Resolve Studio. Why spend $300 when you can spend $400! I have spent the better part of a decade trying to tame my workflow. Your videos have done that. Thank you!
Nice - I was on the fence about a couple of those and a couple of them (like Cinematic Titles) I already had. Thanks for the recommendations and practical use examples.
"I use this an unhealthy amount" 🤣👍 - still laughing! My english is not the best but most of the time you speak so clear that I can understand your explanations - thanks for the always informing good content!👍💯
Hi Darren! Thank you so much for all the education you provide here for free. I've learned so much from your videos! I was wondering if you'd ever be open to analyzing the colour grades from other UA-camrs? I watch this channel called Isabel Paige, and I'm obsessed with the way she grades, but I really can't figure out how she does it. It's so rich yet soft, gentle yet sharp, the colours all pop in a way that never seems overdone. I'd be so interested to see you analyze her shots, and try to break down how she colours them!
But if you are in the color managed color space the colours of these titles changes. With titles you can render in place as rec709 but what to do with effects or transitions?
Another GREAT video! I'm working on a rather long short and would like to separate and store each scene/timeline by itself to be added back to the finished timeline in proper sequence when all scenes are complete. I'm wondering what would be the best procedure to do that?
I bought the mTuber 3 pack but it seems to not work in portrait mode in davinci which is surprising since shorts have boomed and instagram reels are also in the lead. Do you know if I could be missing something that causes the animations to be cropped in portrait?
Will have to check these out for my corporate work. You know, if DaVinci Resolve 19 brings us a Text+ that has text flow/layout controls like Premiere Pro, I'd fly to NAB to give Grant Petty a giant kiss! Seems like I've been asking for this since DR15 (when I started using Resolve as my primary editor.) I can hope one day!
I have really good series Concept. That you can create a series Where you Recolor old Video footages with current color trends. I hope to see it someday on your channel. Lots of love and respect from me ❤
Hello Darren can you please tell me and quiet a big Georgian colorist audience What is the correct way of making showreel for color and does it works anyway??
I'm confused, you state "Use the link for best deal on the pack" - I'm not sure which pack you are referring to because when I click on the link provided I get a 5 pack bundle for a price of $353.00. Which pack are you speaking of out of all the ones offered? Or are there just a couple you like, or are you suggesting buying everything that have for sale?
there is a pack that is my choice. This is a bundle but you can but what you like and you'll still get a discount with code DARREN at checkout. The biggest deal is on the pack that I have the link to as I curated this pack myself.
Absolutely love your videos, you've saved me hours with your crystal clear teaching style. What follows is not on you, but given your enthusiasm for the vendor, I wanted to let you know that some of their products are not production-ready, in my opinion. I took advantage of the MotionVFX discount code to purchase their Simple Callouts 2. Unfortunately the product was disappointing from the very first attempt. Following their YT tutorial, the template did not perform properly, failed to follow tracking, and felt generally unpolished. Their graphic design elements are well done, but in this case, the tool itself did not deliver value. Far too much troubleshooting time spent, for a relatively expensive pack that is supposed to save time. Refund requested.
Nice stuff. But to be completely transparent, there’s nothing in these packs that I can’t make in after effects. Yes I understand this is about speed and getting it done quickly… But. I can make them all for free. But I will be checking the prices to see how it goes. And thanks for demonstrating. As always, you’re great. Will you be at NAB this year?
Hi Allen. You can make them all in Fusion for free. They are fusion generated. But I cant! I dont know how or have the time. That is why i love them. Not at NAB this year no. All the best. Darren
Hai Darren, See also this one. ----- Don't know yet how to turn the file into a drfx. That's why I do it this way for one time. Thanks. DR18s - Text in Glass: ua-cam.com/video/O46eVmCe5Xo/v-deo.html #davinciresolve #text #glass

Hi. This is something I would like to do on my private facebook group which is open to everyone who takes a class with me. Good idea.

I had to laugh when you opened your toolbox, at how many you have 😁 Clearly, MotionVFX is your retail therapy 😉
