As a Scot I’d say I love my whole country it’s all special. Most of us probably take it for granted. Because it’s just the norm for us. So it s a beautiful thing when people come here and remind us all just how lucky we are .
I’m currently as master’s student studying at the university of Edinburgh and in finals season it’s been hard to appreciate my surroundings to the full extent but watching this and hearing how much joy Edinburgh has brought you guys has really reaffirmed how incredibly grateful I am to live here 🥹 so glad you guys loved it!
First of all, we are so proud of you, look at you go ✨ May we ask what you are getting your masters in? ❤️ and thank you so much for sharing, we are happy that our video was able to remind you of how special your home it 🥹
@ I am getting a Master’s in Comparative Education and International Development 🫶 and I want my career to be centered around helping students study abroad! You guys are amazing, thank you!
I hope Juan won't stop saying "This is the best ... I've ever had" please. I really love the enthusiasm, and I understand the feeling. It's also cute and funny
As a resident of Edinburgh for my whole 68 years ( soon on the 5th Jan 2025) I love that people are amazed by the beauty and history of Edinburgh. Scotland is not known for it's cuisine except for Haggis, but every city, town and village have wonderful places to eat incredible Scottish food made using locally sourced fresh ingredients and it's the freshness which gives the food its flavour. Scotland is very welcoming and the people very friendly and my recommendation to you both is to see as much of our country as you can (move here for a couple of years :D :D ) and then post your great videos to encourage more people to come visit our wee home. Your posts remind me how very lucky I have been to be an Edinburgher.
your channel helps me so much during hard time when i feel so lost in my life, you constantly remind me all the traveling dream that i have, all the places that i have yet to discover, i am not struggling in school for nothing. thank you so so much and also you are the most beautiful engaged couple out there!!
When you did your 100k Q&A a bunch of weeks ago and listed your favourite cities, I commented that I agreed with your choices except I'd have Edinburgh in there as well. I'm glad you can now understand why! 🥰
I visit Edinburgh in autumn…it was fabulous…..they told me it was the most beautiful day they had in a long time….sunny and perfect….oh! The memories coming back watching your video….thanks again❤❤❤
I think the best time to visit Edinburgh is in the Autumn, the reds, yellows, browns of the leaves, the fresh crisp air, the bright blue sky, the sun glinting in the sky.
And pissing rain, hailstones, blizzards, sun, hurricanes, back to rain. Sorry! I had to be honest! One love from the wet west coast of Scotland! 💙🦁🏴
My boyfriend and I are going to visit Edinburgh later during the year end and we are so excited. Your recommendations are always so aesthetic and cool. I'm saving these places for our visit (especially the hot chocolate spot☕)❤
I've been watching you guys for 3 years and I don't comment too often but your videos are lovely to watch :) Excited to visit Edinburgh one day! Also, you guys inspired me to push past my fears and start a travel/vlog channel (with my partner as well haha), so thank you and God bless you both!💝
18:18 I swear you’re gonna say that in the next vlog we receive from you 😂 y’all are hilarious!! Per usual you both are such a joy to watch… thank you ❤
I visited Edinburgh in November of last year and this video was just so beautifully made and really captured the charms I fell in love with when I was there 🩵✨ You guys are truly my favourite creators on the internet and I appreciate you and your content so so much 🥹
Greetings from Canada, just discovered your channel and have watched a couple of your videos. Amazing - thanks for your travel captures. Amazing - thank you. Lisa
Haste ye back! If naw, lang may yer lum reek! ("Come back soon! If not, long may your chimney have smoke! (long life)" In the old Scots language). One love from Scotland. 💙 🦁 🏴
I just came back form Edinburgh this September and you guys made me relive the magic all over again!😍 St Bernards Well was my absolute favorite spot, it was magical!! And you guys look so beautiful and the excitement and love the city has over you shows😍🥰 Rhylan you look so ethereal as always and Juan your purple sweater looks fire🤩
You’ve hit the high points and as always, your video is just so well done. I found your video to be absolutely spot on in every detail. Thank you for this very informative video on Edinburgh. I want to visit one day and you've given me a lot of useful tips. I have observed, this is an excellent guide for anyone trying to maximise their time, interests and budget on a visit to Edinburgh. Edinburgh's scenery, atmosphere/lively streets, relatively short distances to walk around the centre are all amazing. Really like this excellent post, thank you 💛❤
Please i love your vibes, guys, happiness absolutely looks beautiful on you🥰 i pray that you two are always blessed with good health, happiness, love, good life, healthy foods, secured life, financial stability and the most beautiful things in the world💚 cant wait to see you guys to explore other destinations and to make more memorable moments to share with us🥰
Welcome to Edinburgh my city that I was born and live in. I'm so glad you both love Edinburgh so much. In answer to your question what it's like to live here I'm afraid many of us take it for granted it's only since I can't get out now due to ill health that I realise just how much. Watching your videos lets me see Edinburgh through others eyes So thank you both for that.
I finally converted him but then he got sick after eating a whole jar of olives and doesn’t like them anymore 😂😂 this will be a lifelong battle.. miss you too 💓 sending our love to you & Binley!!
Love your videos, guys! The way you capture each country is absolutely beautiful. Have you ever thought about visiting India? It’s my home country, and I’m sure you’ll love it here! 😊✨
I live really near to Edinburgh , across the water in The Kingdom of Fife , you can view Fife from any high point in Edinburgh ie the Castle , the Calton Hill and of course Arthur’s seat , some of the 7 extinct Volcano,s the Ciry is built upon ❤️🏴
Lovely vlog! How was your stay at the Apex Hotel? Do you recommend this place? Reviews are sooooo different. But I wouldn't mind to overview Calton Burial Ground at all 😂
So happy that you liked it ❤️ and actually no, it didn’t feel that crowded! Was super easy to get around & manage getting reservations! Edinburgh is such a dream!! ✨
Wonderful. Yes, Edinburgh is a fabulous city, though as you suggest, there is much more to see and do, with all either within walking distance or a short bus or tram ride away. For your next visit, consider (open your Google Map and get ready for a LONG read...though fabulous strolls): - a Water of Leith (pron. like Keith) stroll from the Gallery of Modern Art (aka Modern One) that will also include Dean Village and Stockbridge enroute to the Royal Botanic Garden Though the comment you pulled up in your video indicated that the Garden was 'out of the way', it is only 10 minutes walk from Stockbridge Market. And from it you can walk straight up to your hotel. Start the stroll in Moray Place > Ainslie Place > Randolph Crescent - the single longest example of connected Georgian architecture in the world. This is the gem of the New Town. At the end of Randolph Crescent, turn right and walk out onto Dean Bridge. Look over both sides - one direction towards Stockbridge and the waters of the Firth of Forth, the other down onto Dean Village. Go back to the start of the bridge and get onto Belford Road (don't take Bell's Brae, which is the hill down into Dean Village (brae means hill)). Walk Belford Road, stopping to have a look at Belford Mews before continuing along until you reach Modern One (on the left) and Modern Two (on the right). There is a fab café in Modern One (I've never been in Two). Out back of One is a stairway down to the Water of Leith. Descend and go left > Dean Village. From there, carry on past St. Bernard's Well (where you had lunch). Go up the steps at St. Bernard's Bridge, turn left, then right to get to the bridge @ Stockbridge. That area - both sides of the bridge - is great for independent shops and eats. To get to the Botanics you have a couple options - get back on the Water of Leith walkway, stairs for which are alongside the clock-towered pizza place. Walk a few minutes 'til the next bridge at Glenogle Road, which is lined with a series of former workers cottages named the Stockbridge Colonies (colonies exist also in other parts of the city). The large red brick building with the chimney is Glenogle Baths, now an aquatic centre, though previously a communal bath from the times prior to indoor plumbing. The streets are cut short by the Water of Leith. The houses - a ground floor flat with a double upper - are unique in that the lower flat faces one street, the upper another. This means both tenants have front gardens and neighbours need never see each other. From here you can carry on 'til the end of the street, at which point you turn left, then left again to cross the bridge at Canonmills (former home of mills owned by the canons @ Holyrood Abbey, at the bottom of the Royal Mile) and go a few minutes to reach the east gate of the Botanics. It is easy to miss, so beware. Or upon reaching Stockbridge you turn left and take the street beside Hector's (eatery). This will divide into Arboretum Way and Glenogle Road. Take Arboretum Way, which will lead you to the west gate of the Botanics, where there is a gift shop and eats. Across the street is Inverleith Park, which backs onto Stockbridge Village. To return to your hotel from the Botaics: from the West Gate > Inverleith Terrace > Inverleith Row then right; or from the East Gate turn right. With either you cross the bridge and carry straight on up through Broughton Street (more indie shops and eats). From there you are minutes from your hotel. Also, for eats in the Meadows, go to Victor Hugo for lunch. Then stroll along the park to Brunstfield and follow the street down into Morningside. Once again, some great indie shops and eats...plus fabulous neighbourhoods of wonderful homes. Interested in Harry Potter? JK Rowling lived at 4 Abbotsford Park prior to moving to the edge of the city. It's two minutes from the Tesco on Colinton Road...which is there in Bruntsfield. Yes, a lot of words. However, on a map you will recognise how easy this is. And in reality both make for a fabulous day out. PS: If adventurous, stroll Leith Walk (or take the tram) down the The Shore in Leith for eats. Or jump a bus to Portobello and after checking out the neighbourhood have a stroll along the beach promenade. Shirley Manson, singer with rock band Garbage has a home here (her family's home is in Stockbridge). There is so much.... 🙂
I can’t wait to see where you end up at Christmas time. We live in Vermont close to the Canadian border we have snow! If you ever make it up here it’s enchanting( we have a mini horse named Cherub) you would love her❤

Hope u guys don't get it wrong but when I lived in the states the first thing I noticed was that People keep saying: I love it to everything or I love this all the time, so I guess when u keep saying" this is the best thing I've ever had" ... its just an American thing. Cause in Europe People are more serious about using the term Love it's not a common thing. For Europe People it sounds like exaggerating things. But it ain't a problem for me cause as I said I used to live in the states and I got used to it. But just so u know for people who don't know that, that's the reason why it doesn't sound credible when u keep saying it all the time.
