Hello, friends! If you enjoyed the video and wanted to support my channel, I have a "Buy me a Coffee" page which I'll link here: buymeacoffee.com/shawnaexplores ❤ if you’ve already supported, thank you soo much!
Shawna could you do a look at Easter road the leith where there council houses were for primary and liverton high school please?gilmerton and mordan was. Was where you would get the bus for school.😊
Personally i never had any issue with the choice of previous music. Think i might check out charity shops next time i need a cheap pair of jeans for working on the car. Have a nice weekend Shawna.
Hi Shawna! There was nothing wrong with jazz music in previous video 🤔 I actually thought it was all well done 😍 I'm not that convinced that classical music is better for a charity shop video 🤭 Nonetheless, I like watching all your videos, no matter what kind of music you attach to it 🤗 Love from Edinburgh 😀
The jazz was brilliant! No need to change your music choices, they're excellent :) Loved the charity shop tour - I'm not really a fashionista, but some of them had such a great selection of books and artworks! I don't see that often, at all.
There was a hint of it in your video, but there are some fabulous residential streets on either side of the High Street. Shirley Mason, the singer from rock band Garbage is from Edinburgh and has a home in Portobello/Joppa (she lives in LA and her familial home is in Comely Bank). I know the area well but had never walked the streets on the Edinburgh side of the High Street (versus the Firth of Forth side). Wow, there are some fabulous spots. As for the jazz music, it was fine. I can't believe anyone would 'complain'. It's your show and you do a fine - and constantly improving - job.
@@Auldreekie967 Possibly. But she went to Flora Stephenson Primary School and then Broughton High School, both in Comely Bank, which is where the Manson family home is. This, particularly attending primary school at Flora Stephenson, just us the street from Manson's home, strongly indicates that she spent her Edinburgh life, starting at a young age, in Comely Bank.
I’m really looking forward to the charity and second shops over there! I appreciate going and comparing them by a pair of jeans, that’s a great way to tell! ❤
I’m so glad you think that worked! Will definitely do the jean prices for future charity shop tours 😊 I’ve got a few more neighbourhoods in mind that are also great for charity shopping!
I loved portobello when I went there (been several times) last time back in 2022 I found something I wanted in each of those shops! Beautiful beach too & I highly recommend the Greek bakery. Could you please do a video on Corstorphine? I know that area well too & the German bakery there is also really good but it’s only open a couple days a week.
Goodness Shawna, another absolutely delightful Charity Shop video! 😍 As many people already beat me to it, your jazz music was really wonderful in previous videos! But you know I’m a fan of the music in all of your videos 👏 As also noted, I loved you capturing the two sweet dogs 😍 And the Charity Shops themselves, these videos are so lovely to enjoy and soak in 🥰 I love them all so much. I can see why you appreciate the peacefulness of Portobello 🙌
Thanks for a lovely video. I always visit Portobello in the summer when I return home to Edinburgh from China. Was so nice to go along with you. Keep posting. I love your videos.
A great idea for a post. I wrote to the then Prince Charles once when he said in the papers that Charity shops could do with more volunteers and I suggested a collaboration between them and taking people from Job Centres - turned out to be mainly men- and give them their money for helping out in the shops. Well they fairly got them sorted out in the Borders all neat and tidy. And I said they could put it on a CV in their search for a permanent job
Lovely video Shawna! Glad you liked Portobello! It's an amazing area! And I also loved the previous music haha so no need to change 😊 (from the guy in the blue coat wearing earphones who saw you the other day haha)
I ❤ Portobello & Leith. I may be moving over from the western coast and these are areas I enjoy. I have friends in Leith and the dog walking along Portobello suits me 😂 I've parted with money in so many charity shops. There is one around the corner from me that sells over stock from Zara, new items with the tags still on.
I love Jazz music. If someone doesn’t like your choices they can find another channel. Be true to yourself and your preferences. You’ll never make everyone happy.

Aww thank you, Dirk! I think jazz will be making a return as a few other comments agree with you 😊 thanks for watching!
I loved watching you charity shop. You have a great way to share Scotland with us. Sending a thank you from Ashland, Ohio. USA.
Thank you so much, Julie! 🥹 That’s so kind of you! Wishing you wonderful week from Scotland 🥰
Personally I think the jazz fits the charity shop vibe really well...
I think the jazz will be returning 😊

Shirley’s originally from the Inch, I know people who went to school with her.

@ I’m glad you’ll keep doing them, but I’m going to need you to go back and get that fuzzy cheetah print coat for me. 😂
Just wanted to say I love your videos Shawna! They always bring me comfort 🥰
Aww thank you so much, Katy! That’s made my day 🥹☕️
I love the chill of your channel, cozy vibes!
Aww thank you, that means a lot 🥹🩷

Shawna, I always appreciate the little spotlights on animals❤ they've so cute to see and add a warm touch to your videos 🐶🌻🐿
Aww thank you, Carrie! Glad you love them as much as me 🥰
Carrie, I’m glad I’m not the only one who adores the highlights given to our furry friends 🥰

Am I the only one who liked the jazz music😅
Aww I did too! Maybe I should bring it back 🙊
Nope, I enjoyed it too ❤
I liked the jazz music too!
@@ShawnaExplores You should! Do whatever you want, it's your channel after all :)
I like the jazz music too!
Always lovely to see Portobello. Thanks Shawna.
Thanks so much for watching! ☺️

Love your videos Shawna, I am thinking to move to Scotland, they are really helping me see more of the beautiful places there!
Portobello looks beautiful. Thank you, as always, for showing me Scotland.
Thank you, I love looking in charity shops, you sound very nice ,Rose

If you get a bus then Scottish Borders have great ships - try Peebles
Some lovely things in those shops 😍
Definitely! Had to hold myself back from buying a few things 🙊
I stay in Portobello, I have for most of my life. I thought your video was very lovely and enjoyable.
I miss so much Edinburgh's (and UK) charity shops 🥲 Here in Italy are not the same.
M
Over the last year, charity shops have changed a lot, and they are no longer as cheap as they were a year ago.
Nothing wrong with jazz music!
I think it’ll be returning ☺️🩷
Misread the title and assumed it was charity shops in Portabello road here in London... I watched and enjoyed it anyway
A lovely vlog Shawna/
Thank you so much, Liz! 🥰
Musselburgh would maybe be a nice place for your video.
That’s a good idea! I’ve never visited Musselburgh’s charity shops 🥰
You have great taste.
That’s so kind of you, thank you! 😊
OMG..! Macaroni Pie 😋
Sooo good 🤤🙊

Hmm not keen on classical music …. Sorry - thanks for sharing. 😊
Ah well can’t please everyone 😅 thanks for watching!
@ omitted but should’ve said however it wont stop me watching!
Sorry this music is too dramatic and intrusive. Something lighter please!
I thought that too but I was too tired to find multiple copyright free songs and this one was as long as the video so I took the easy way out 😅🩷
