This is after he got off of drugs when he turned his life around one of his best performances ever and I've seen him hundreds of times and every club in Texas
0:31 - May i have talk with you 4:17 - Mary had little lamb 10:07 - Look at little sister 14:00 - Couldn`t stand the weather 17:26-19:40 - Jamming/band introduction 21:21 - Voodoo chile (slight return)
God he was so beautiful and talented so humble and real it made me so sad losing this light in the world he was so pure love 💕 rip Stevie you are loved and missed
Thanks for uploading. I saw him 1984 and he looked strung out and wasted, played mediocre. Saw him again 1989 after he got clean and he was phenomenal. There was another acoustic tv show that was not the MTV version. Not sure what year it was but he completely shredded on acoustic. Just unreal. I saw Al Dimeola and Paco Delucia play and Stevie was as good or better on acoustic. It sucks that all my favorite guitarists from 1980s are dead.
Honestly he did not put on an amazing show as compared to Ted Nugent, original AC/DC with Bon Scott, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, etc. This may have kept him from getting superstardom back in the1980s. Fans wanted to see kickass concerts back then. There's a bunch of good videos on youtube of his concerts that you should watch, but seeing him live was obviously great. @@agamazofficial
During Voodoo he's totally F'd off in to his own universe. He can hear Tommy and Chris keeping the bass line and beat going... just wow, enough said. Enjoy the talent.
I can't always listen to or watch Stevie easily because it is just too much, too immersive, too involving, it demands 100% attention. You can't do it passively or let it play in the background of your day. You just watch in jaw-dropping awe of how special he really was. It is work and it is heartbreaking. I hope that makes some sense.
God I wish he was still with us. He will forever be the GREATEST guitar player in history.
Damn straight!
Can't listen to him without crying my eyes out. Stevie!!!!!
Hehe
so good that heals my soul...

damn nice, I was born in 1999 so I was never able to see him live... Unfortunately...

Nice recording with good sound!

BLOODY CHAMP
Luckily UA-cam did not compress it as much, watching in 720p or 1080p is fine in this case.
WOW
yeah
He actually had better tone than Jimi Hendrix, in so doing more amp options for thickening up a marshall.
yeah I like him a lot more than Jimi
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Why do the greatest always leave young?
I have absolutely zero hate for srv and I love the guy but this show is so overrated. There’s way better shows out there to watch and listen.
i dont know man, watching this show 8th time, the best picture quality and sound right here
