For those that saw this man live, you are fortunate...
I wish i could too , the best guitarist of all time in my opinion !! I was born in the wrong era sadly lol born in 1995 dammit 😅
Saw him perform live in Atlanta 1988, he was gone within 2 years...still hard to accept
On the bill w/Huey Lewis / the News
It was special
Saw him back in the mid 80's at the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pa
This was the night Stevie Ray Vaughan officially took the gloves off and became the GOAT. From the seamless guitar switch, to the MID-NOTE plug change, to the soul of the singing.
Then, THAT SOLO. Almost three straight minutes of shredding. Live feedback control with manual amp changes WHILE STILL PLAYING. The soul he pulls from Charlie is UNBELIEVABLE. Then the behind-the-back spectacle, into the break. But the true testament: after the break, he restarts for the rest of the solo FROM BEHIND THE BACK.
Then he plays with his teeth, loses a tooth on stage, and keeps going.
This is not a blues show. This is a religious experience. This is a man ascending to the top guitar providence.
You are spot on!!
he lost a tooth?
But there is no way you were there. Nobody with a cartoon figure as your profile has ever seen Stevie Ray Vaughan live ! fact.
ironic that srv says to not put people down, but here you are. You are miscomprehending his comment, so slow down and give it another read. Facts says the old man
@@Craigkimmel I was not there, and never said I was. I was born in 2001, eleven years after he died outside of Alpine Valley. But I have seen this recorded performance dozens of times. I have analyzed the majority of SRV's discography, including his sessions with Dick Dale and Albert King. And this still stands eternal as one of the best performances of his career.
Anyone else feel like they heal emotionally from listening to srv or am I the only one
His music clears out the bull shit & resets my brain. 😊
SIIII,saca todo mi dolor
It should be felony to run a worthless ad in the middle of this masterpiece…RIP Stevie
Jajaja
Agreed
Amen, RIP Stevie. 💗
Fucking eh!
When I first started watching this video long ago, there was no ad. Now? Unbelievable. RIP SRV GOAT 🎸🇺🇸
nobody ever talks about his voice , so underated , i think he had one of the greatest blues voices too
Stevie had the best voice. You are not the only one to notice, but thanks for pointing it out.
Renembering that when he started to play and sing together on stage he was not confident at all - it says in the documentary - so every mastery takes time and sacrifice!
I completely agree! All your love I miss lovin is one of my favorite songs and his voice on it gives me chills!
He sets your soul on fire
SRV practiced til he bled. Played like he was on Fire. Lived to his last Drop. Rest Easy Little Stevie. Texas misses you
We played this at my dad's service on Saturday. All through my life, he'd always said he wanted it played at his funeral. This song hit hard when I was young and hits even harder now that he's gone.
Accept my condolences
Prayers for your loss.
❤💞💕💯
I shed a few tears 😢everytime I hear this song
I'm so sorry for your loss. Prayers& love 🙏
Played at my grandson's funeral. This song touches my soul...
🙏🏾
I listened to this song on an early Sunday morning 1/30/22.Minutes later I got a call my Grandson was murdered the night before.😢
@@luckycharmkathy Peace😘
no one should never have to attend a grandchilds funeral... Im so sorry for your loss. May God bless and comfort you.
I literally wrote my wedding invitations around these lyrics. My husband has been gone 6 years in November and this song still makes me think of him. I even played it at his funeral. No one will ever understand how much this song means to me
This song means something to anyone that has ever heard it ❤ Sorry for your loss, been
12yrs for me. I just hate my husband wouldn't ever listen this song. It's something you don't get over, it's something you get thru. 😢
One day at a time. Rest in Peace Stevie Ray Vaughn ✌️❤️🌼

😮9n😮😊😊😅
So sorry for your loss Jennifer. I lost my girl after 32 years married. Together 5 before that. Ill be alone for the rest of my life. God bless you you.
Losing someone who makes that choice to move on hurts as much as someone who passes on. My ex wire told me she no longer wanted to be with me. We met at 15 years old and am in my mid 50s now. I don't wish her any ill will but a little part of me wishes she would come back to me. Not sure how to measure pain but knowing she could come back but chooses not to still hurts. I even remarried and that was a disaster. Very sorry about your loss.
this is one of the greatest youtube videos in the world.
well this is a very awesome video, altho there's a video you can see of him performing this same song at New Orleans Jazzfest that i feel is the most intense.
thanks man
I so agree😉this is the 'Stuff'💖&Stevie Has It!💯✌💥💋🙌🙋♂️ My Favorite Of S. R.V.💞⚘😉

If I'm stoned and I want to float on a great guitar solo, this is in my top ten
There isn't a stereo in existence that can play this loud enough...
AMEN!!!
when you feel this on 11....wishin' anyone...someone you know...wants this on at least a 9
I already hate my broken Sennheiser
When I listen to SRV... my neighbors do too!
LOL freaking AMEN!
This song means so much to me. My wife passed away 5 years ago at the young age of 40. This says everything I feel about my loss and Stevie's playing channels that so much more that I can't help but cry every time I hear this.
32 years today. Still a legend. RIP Stevie.
legends never die :)

Gary Clark Jr. said it best about SRV, “...his passion was overwhelming. You could tell he was giving you everything he had”.
Maybe just what Stevie knew you needed is what I like to.think he.meant.though
THE BEST GUITAR PICKER IN THE WORLD NEVER BE ANOTHER ONE LIKE HIM
Yup. Also Gary Clark jr was a disappointment to see live lol. He didn't give a poop.
YEP
His passion was overwhelming, then he added genius, art and skill and - that’s about it.
I'm crying my eyes out. The world needs Stevie right now.
You and me both. Every time I hear this, all I can think of is the daughter I miss so very much. She passed away at 2 yrs old back in 2014 and I'm still not deal with it too well. 😔 She was my only child... 😭
I'm depressed we need Stevie ray vaughan now more than ever please lord bring back the master of blues
We sgould cloned him. One hair is enough!
He wrote this song in memory of his father after he passed away and what passion he always plays with. Miss him 💯❤
ya im with you ,,
Some people get good by dedication…others by pure talent …. Stevie simply had both…. And that is once in a lifetime ❤
I'm 72 yrs. old. S.R.V. is simply the best.
My husband and I was and are, huge fans of Stevie's, and we listened to him all the time, and my boys too. We were married 2/14/1990, the year Stevie died. He was heartbroken, as we all were. My husband passed away from cancer in 2010, and we played Texas Flood, and Riviera Paradise at his funeral. I can never hear the songs without feeling the bittersweet pain of losing him, and Stevie too.
Stevie and your husband will live on forever with these loving memories!
I'm sure your husband is listening to SRV playing up there
@@theoincontridetoledo4565 Thanks. He never got to see him in person, so maybe he is jammin with him now. He played on his guitar every chance he had.
My dad died of cancer in 2010 I feel your pain I lost him when I was 8
God bless you! My husband went to high school with Stevie.. now he’s passed away.. played in several bands in oak cliff.. left me two sons that carry on just like Stevie.. one born 1980 other born 1990 guess what my 1990s baby boy exactly like Stevie..
No matter how many times I watch this, I get goosebumps every single time.
know what you mean,,, I was there,, dude,,,,front row,, me and my lady,,,, when I now listen to this song,, it hits me hard,, life without you,,,....
miss them both,,, tears rolling down me face,,,, .think I'll have another drink,, few more tokes as well,,, peace....
@@donpags1413 Damn man. I’m sorry for the loss, but hopefully this song is one that helps you when times are hard. Stevie’s ability to touch people in deep ways is truly amazing. Even though he was way before my time. A true legend forever.
Hell Yea
just imagine being there. when those tube amps start breaking at 8 or 9 when he cranked them up....that was probably a f.king epic sweet blues breaker sound. contrary to many beliefs, blues amps sound their best when nice and hot.
Me too
Chills up and down my spine!
I've always said that God every once in a while sends a being to earth who's talent transcends everybody else and shows what true gifts really are...Stevie Ray Vaughn is proof.
This is the honest truth. I was there
So true! The man had great talent. I will never get tired of watching his talents and listening to his awesome voice!
Where have I heard the name Fitzgerald!?? Any relation to THE FITZGERALD'S Night Club he played at in Houston Texas' Heights District? 👍🌹❤️
I tend to agree. We are lucky enough to occasionally have great teachers, people who inspire us to be nearly as good as we're afraid we're not.
Stevie Ray isn't just a master, mesmerising musician; he's an example of what we can be -- with a little bit of love.
Amen-we were blessed! ❤ Miss ya’ Stevie 😢 3:04
The way he looks at the crowd as he speaks… The way he plays that guitar… And spreads words of love… One day when we evolve enough to leave our own galaxy, we may fly by where he came from. 🎸🙏❤️
In a galaxy not so far away. It’s a tiny little place called Texas
@@cervezamoney Indeed! The Lone Star State which I’m proud to live in!
So hope 🎶💖🎶💖🎶
Very very few good Souls come from Texas srv1
Said so perfectly..........💖
Just visited his gravesite in Oak Cliff, TX on the 30 year anniversary of his passing, then to his statue in Austin, TX. I’m glad to see fresh flowers laid at both locations, his music continues to touch the hearts of many. I’m only 23 years old so I never had the pleasure of witnessing his passion live in person, but I’m glad I can listen to his music and watch his performances. No one can make you feel like he can when he plays and there never will be. RIP SRV, thank you for all the love you passed our way...
How did you find the cemetery and where is his statue. My grandson is 16 i showed him a video of SRV when he was 10. He has been playing the guitar for 3 years now. He and i both think Srv was the greatest guitarist that ever lived and I want to take my grandsons and that same trip. Please send me some info.

AWESOME, dude!! Thanks for sharing, brother! 🔥🔥🔥💨💨💨🍺🍺🍺🎸🎸🎸🎶🎶🎶🤟🤟🤟
GOOD ONE!!!!! - Thank You for saying it!!!
Holy crap. I didn't realize it was only 3 hours from me, near Dallas. Time to make a trip to visit SRV. THANK YOU!
The one place I'll go before my dad can't anymore is Macon, Georgia to visit Duane, Berry, Gregg, & Butch. Is Butch buried with them? I hope so. I recall that he is but I haven't looked to be sure.
"We are all here to help each other, love each other, and be brothers and sisters. We've got one chance in this life, to get out of here whether we have to do it over and over or not. And that is to learn to love everybody else and treat them just like ourselves, or forget it. Let's all try to learn a few things and pick each other up when we're down. And not push anybody down cause we're up."
John Mayer has a little speech in a version of little wing and I have a good feeling this clip inspired that

What a shame I’ll never see this guy live. He’s utterly mesmerising

There’s nothing today that can compete with Stevie Ray Vaughan’s talent.
Eric is still playing -- but no one else, for sure.
@richardkemp3825 Stevie made Eric Clapton flush when he first really heard him play. It was a look of, Wow! This guy might be better than me.
@@suckOnThese3 Stevie Ray didn't play the guitar, he was the guitar!
To me, SRV was and still is the GREATEST guitar player of all time...
Agreed...next to Jimmie
Mark Knoffler, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Gary Moor...
Guitar player is an understatement. His soul seeped through that piece of wood.
Stephen Snow nah man he wasn’t even close to srv
AGREED MY MAN, SRV IS THE GOAT
"Angels have waited so long
now they have their way"
RIP SRV
When he was killed in the helicopter crash. I mourned for him like people mourned for Elvis. He got off of drugs, and alcohol, and was headed for a bright future. I sure miss him.! Seen him live a month before his death.
My guitar doesnt do this.
You never will !!!
You never will says the guy who looks like he will be dead in two weeks. Keep practicing and dream brother or sister
None have since. We can try just the same.
Must be faulty ☺️
Who's does lol 😅
I'm not saying Stevie's the greatest guitarist of all time, but I am saying that whoever's #2 has a lot of catching up to do!

Very fortunate to see him twice live. Only musician that I cry about when I watch videos like this one. He was just getting it together when he passed. Was going to make so much more music. What a GOD given talent. Thank you for these clips.
Spiritual is the only way to describe watching Stevie Ray Vaughan
Greatest guitarist ever IMO. People are so blown away by his soulful guitar expertise, that his vocal talent is mostly overlooked. Stevie had a pitch-perfect voice, melodic and tender when appropriate, or husky bass-laden throat growl when appropriate. He was, IMO, musical perfection. This song really showcases his vocal talent.
the only guitarist that can make a grown man cry
Couldn’t have said it better myself !
@@MMK86 man that's the truth!
Absolutely agree! PERFECTION

This is not just a song. This is Magic

When I was watching this I couldn't help but feel this is opera - not a concert but a story told with music - brilliant!
@Brody Hill but the world shines a little brighter because of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Always will.
My husband passed this Jan 3rd. He was an amazing blues player in his own right. This song will be included at his memorial and I know how big his smile will be. He admired Stevie so much.
From one widow warrior to another… sending you peace love and strength.
Right on ! This reminds me of my loss. It's tuff....
May your husband rest in peace.

our wedding song ❣ a reminder to each other that even through the hard times, life without each other would suck. We choose each other each day.
Every note this man ever played came straight from the depths of his heart, he didn't just play music he FELT music!!!!!
He WAS the music. I cry every time i watch this video. AND i watch it as much as i possibly can. RIP Bro.
Can’t believe I’ve watched this over 100 times and it still has the same effect on me every time
I watch it at least once a day
Same here....
Love it love e
Love it love it
The Sky is Cryin' and so am I.
I shed tears listening to most of his music. True inspiration. Reason why I picked up a guitar.
Totally understand. To this day I can only listen to one song at a time and able to enjoy it. I can't listen to anymore because I just breakdown over the loss.
Me too. Always cry when I hear this and Lenny
This is so badass. i love how he stops in the middle of the solo to tell people about getting along. its like he waits until he has everyone's full attention then says his stuff. almost like its more important
can anyone believe there was a time when stevie was shy to sing because he was worried he was not good enough. a true talent in every way. his voice was made for the blues.
Stevie sang and played from the inside out, his feelings just poured out of him like all that water ...
Lots of good musicians feel that way. Unfortunately (?) the best are the most humble ones.
Stevie played in quite a few bands....growing up in Texas! Always as guitar, rhythm or lead! Glad he started vocals....he had a different voice! Guitar playing......no explanation!
In early recordings, he was holding back, more like Hendrix When he kinda talked his way through the verses.
His voice grew with time to a powerful presence, every bit as much of his total package as was his playing. Add the seemingly effortless moves and his singular fashion taste in hats and outfits and they all created one dynamite persona.
@TD S it was all about the flow. I remember one of the old blues legends saying "the thing about Stevie, he was like a channel. He never dried up. I never saw him have to think about the next thing to do, what note to play. He just knew and he did it."
No higher praise is possible.
I wonder if Stevie could see into 2020. His words spoke of kindness and respect. Which of course, is what we need right now.
My thoughts exactly
The good times are really over for good
My thoughts too. I think Stevie would just shake his head. 😣
He’s too talented and too normal/good of a person to see what’s been happening today.
SRV was the last of the Greats.
The man also was know for his EMPATHY
the black musicians like albert king were quoted as saying stevie was there brother and bo diddly told freinds stevie was the whitest black soal hes ever know ! R.I.P SRV ❤!!!!
A poem
I just left him there.
Where he was so happy .
And that is where he is today.
Where he will always be.
No heartbreak.
No pain.
No crash.
He is not lost.
RIP-SRV
In response to your post, May 17 2023, I said goodbye to my most beautiful friend "Benjamin" when we took 😢that last ride to his vet, we would sit outside and listen to S.R.V., nowadays, it's just me.
Wow. that is a great poem. RIP SRV and also to my brother JImmy who introduced me to SRV and played lead guitar. Jimmy was killed at age 32 in a car accident in 1989 right after Stevie Ray was killed in that horrible accident. In the Daytona Beach concert he praises the Lord and Thanks God for being alive.
I was at this show in the photographers pit during this song. One of the best performers that has ever lived!!!!

almost 30 years and it still hurts as if it were yesterday... Miss u, Soulman!
I was there for his last show! Trust me when I say that I still feel the pain of him not being here! I so, so want to go to another performance and see what it's like to be in the graces of God! But none of us are getting out alive! So peace, and love! And God speed! that's all I got today!@
How true 30 years it went by too fast.
@Robin Seppi Back "in the day", I used to hang in a bar called "City Slickers" just too the west end of downtown Lake Geneva. I was there one night with some band mates and we watch this guy in a funky hat long hair, and a Keyboard, Had no Idea who he was! It was THIS GUY! Probably 5 years earlier, before he really, really took off. I can still remember, we were all metal heads, and yet this band was so good at the blues it just caught us off guard! In a BAR, 5 feet from me. Turned out this was a warm up performance for another show somewhere else!
We all miss the master of soulful heart felt blues music r.i.p srv see you in heaven brotha! Peace
@Robin Seppi He was so much better live! El Mocambo (Texas Flood and Little Wing), Iowa State Fair of this song (Life Without You) soars! Daytona Beach! I was there for all of these. He was easily the most authentic, inspiring blues man I've ever seen. Lots of guitar players, but never another like him. RIP SRV!
When I argue with other people that he was the greatest guitarist who ever lived, I point to this video and his live 12 string Testify performance on MTV Unplugged. I’ve never seen another guitarist, live, or on video that can hold a candle to either.
When Stevie died I took 3 days off of work. He is still in my spirit and soul.
This really is the perfect song. Every squeeze of the neck , every footstep. , every swing of his body , to the adjusting of the strings, to the expression on his face. And the feedback Is a musical note pure genius. If you dont understand. I am sorry for you
I love you stevie. Thank you.
even the tooth gone flying was perfect! :D
And how about the seamless guitar change at 1:00 ? …. Stevie … the consummate professional.
Listen to Stevie has changed my life for real he is never conceited and so for real I actually cry every time I think of his death give anything to b able to meet this wonderful human being or just sit and jam or talk to him on my bucket list go to Austin Texas to c his home town and maybe museum where number one is on display
i would have loved to have given him the biggest hug
As much as I love & am in awe of Jimi Hendrix, I gotta say. Stevie Ray learned well from The Best. And fuck the rest. This world is such a beautiful place because of Jimi & Stevie Ray. May they both be at peace. They deserve it........
Changed guitars, playing behind his back , eyes closed, bending 13 gauge strings like dental floss, delivering a heart felt sermon and finishing with an out of tune instrument....just an astonishing performance...litterly stunned.
And for those people that thumbs down this performance SRV graciously had a song even for you "Riviera Paradise". I just watched this again still jaw dropping epic God like performance. At 5:32 the tears begin...im with you stevie I'm with you stevie.
I still remember the first time i watched this performance...it literally left me speechless!
Davy Kustermans Me Too!!! Which was like a couple days ago. The melody is kinda sad a lil bit too
Amen
Roger Adam Well written. Amen...
Laura DeMarrais Yes. AMEN!!
Stevie was such a pro! Seamlessly swapped guitars when his string broke, played behind his back, and sang with a tooth he broke when playing with his teeth and never missed a note or a beat!!!
It wasn't a broken string; the high E wasn't holding its tune.
So seemless I didn't even notice until you mentioned it.
One of the greatest songs ever written and performed. What a legendary soul.
Best human to ever pick up a guitar. Such a rocker but such a humble down to earth spirit. Lives on forever! Legendary.
I agree with you. I know someone who knew him well from the Austin scene. Always said that he indeed was humble & honest. I like this version for the stellar guitar, but one other version where he talks about needing help & he got it. Then similar talk about love & being brothers & sisters. That message is needed so much these days. Legendary, for sure! 👍😁
👍👍👍👍😪
Oh yeah he is my Pride and joy..
Saw him in my 20s San Antonio. Drove there alone got toasty and ended up 2nd row center stage. Happened to be roped off that gold braided stuff. No one in a block of seats. How dumb could I be right..
My toasty young self sat right there. Never told to leave and I have no words to express the magnitude of his performance. Behind the back, and deep golden snake skin pointed boots. ( Stage level in 2nd row) I saw every time I brought my head down. Exceptional experience never forgotten
Eric ee : You hit the nail perfectly!
He was an AWESOME Talent Plus:
An Awesome Man. I honestly don’t
think he could stand it if he saw what’s
going on, now....It would: Break His 💔
This is so EASY : playing with one hand, picking up picks, tuning, adjusting the amp, playing behind back, or changing guitar without breaks all that while knocking out sounds that make your guts cry and scream. Yeah SO EASY to say that this is my favourite guitarist ever!
Yes
The guitar seems to have a life of its own. He was a genius
And, he couldn't read music and also taught himself to play at age 7. Not only did he break strings on regular basis but guitar necks sometimes had to be reinforced... his hands were THAT strong
The best
I know...the man was just amazing.
I hope my dad is with him and Jimmy surfing some serious waves in a place greater than anything anyone can ever imagine
displays the sweetness and soul in stevie ray's singing that most peers and rivals lacked.
I did read he hated singing and would put it off to the last minute to do the vocals.....like most geniuses he wasn't aware how brilliant a vocalist he was...let alone his guitar playing..RIP SRV...!!!!
I can never hear this song without crying. He died on my husbands birthday, 2 months before our son was born. Both of my sons grew up listening to SRV and both are great guitar players. There will never be another like you Stevie xxx
Wow, you should read what I wrote... Beautiful...
So sorry. Hope u and your children will have all joy and peace in your lives, and your kids continues his fathers passion for Stevie.
Hi everyone..I didn't hear about SRV untill he had died. The reason I heard about him was because a friend of mine died in the same crash. I had worked with Nigel Browne as a bodyguard and he was a lovely bloke. When he was killed in the helicopter crash I became aware of SRV and now listen to him all the time. Whenever I listen to him playing I remember my friend Nigel and even after all this time it still brings a tear to my eye..
Mine too!
The guitar was definitely his first wife. Greatest man in music. Period.
Don't know why he ever bothered putting out studio albums. His live playing is beyond comparison. The voice, the band...the whole package.
I know! I mean of course Im glad he still did albums, I like the variation and sometimes its easier to learn the licks from the studio version, but DAMN if I don't always prefer listening to the live versions! Couldn't Stand the Weather is a great example of that!
No doubt! I got to see him in Spartanburg South Carolina not long before the end for one of the most talented people what ever did grow in my eyes and he was exactly what I thought he would be... My HERO!!!
@Robin Seppi I think we all are his hostages..his music touches the soul..makes u stop & listen (feel it!😉) 😎
Live Alive the only live album he released in his lifetime. In The Beginning and videos like Live At El Mocambo are posthumously released live recordings.
I just appreciate the person he was! I met his brother Jimmie a few years ago! What a kind person! Love both of them!!!
11 minutes of my life I wouldn't take back. SRV was a beautiful spirit, and a gift to mankind.
11 minutes i wouldnt take back times how ever many times ive watched this
When I saw him, I wept.

And I still weep...
@Sully Sullivan sure did! My heart still bleeds. My God, still affects me after all this time. Yet I return to see and listen to this beautiful soul from another realm. Bawling my eyes out every time. In all your beautiful glory Stevie rest in heaven. ❤

Got to love how the ghost on SRV lives on through UA-cam. One of they best things the Internet has brought us ever.
In 2020 theres a buncha ppl that need to really hear this! What a legend! What a song
here we go! I always loved him, he was unstoppable. Imagine Hendrix and Stevie playing together, or just imagine them at the same time on the Earth... As we say in Spain, acojonante primo!
Definitely
The message about picking people up. people really need to hear that. Most will never hear though.
y'all got that right! just came across this, what a treat and blessing to be able to revisit SRV like this and hear this. He's talking about Nicuragua and iran-contra and that certain fam that ran the op fr TX. The greatest bluesman of all time
That’s one of the most incredible performances I’ve ever had the chance to hear
Me too , it’s the first time and it’s right up there with getting laid.
'84 Rockpalast Lorelei, his best ever.
@@Mike-og3xb Dunno... I think Tin Pan Alley with Johnnie Copeland in 84' at Montreaux was tops.
@@Djozer absolutely
It doesn't matter which one is the best. Just be thankful we have his music from now on. RIP SRV. ✌💙🤘
Every song was a hit.
This one should be explained.
Played from the soul . Will never will be anybody like SRV
I am so friggin' ashamed to say this is this first time I have seen this AMAZING soul. What a fine example of a man and a musician. He sets a high bar.
Stevie Was Always On A HIGHER GROUND - In SO Many Ways...!
He conquered all his physical and mental demons and God took him from us. Beautiful man.
Welcome 🤗
Watch his Austin City Limits video piece. It’s a game changer…. Riviera Paradise will speak to you in the same way Life Without You does. Listen to the dedication at the start. Glad you found him!!!
Had to post the link ua-cam.com/video/3c_8VUL5jks/v-deo.html
My 72 year old Mom loved SRV so much! and this song helps me to feel exactly what I need to feel! He is in Heaven with Mom!!!
Man I sure do miss you Stevie. Until we meet again! Thank you for all the good memories you left on this world. God bless you my brother!
He's simply the greatest
In my opinion this is the greatest live performance of all time.
i totally feel you man...
Gives ya chills, right?
Agreed
I never get sick of this and I agree
It's a good one, but you'd really would have had to of seen every one of his shows to make an honest tr u e eval...it is...cause he had a lot of good ones...
And so did many other artists... it is..
This is a concept that is still alive and well. I've traveled this country for many years and despite what the government wants you to think empathy, compassion, and love for thy neighbor is not just alive, but it's thriving 🥰❤️🥰
🦅🪶. Fly on my friend.
SRV was an absolute master of the art. Love it.
no one makes the guitar cry like SRV! god bless his soul.
rocknroll gangster he didn’t make it cry it weeped
not to mention The Sky :)
I must have watched this hundred times... can't get enough of this video. Love love love
It's timeless...
LOL Too You Women ❤😎🙏👍🤙

Holy shit , this guy beats them all by miles !
I cry every time...
Do you know what he said @ 6:20? I've been trying to figure out what he's saying..
I hear him, but it's getting lost in my head somehow. 🤦
@Shelly Terral "In the mother country down south anywhere in the world where people push people down instead of pick them up."
It's a very kind and powerful speech, but he was toasted 🤣
Last night you gifted me the moon. The eclipse for our eyes only your light lit up the night.
Happy Birthday my sweet daughter Gabrielle!❤
Hi, how are you? 🙂
His playing is enough to make a grown man cry. Thank you God 4 SRV...
That's a bad ass guitar tech. That swap out was soo smooth.
Rene was known as the best in the business.
@@wookiepie2285 Did he break a string there?
Here I am once again 20 years after loosing my best friend and soul mate in a car accident. This song is so very special. Glad we got to see Stevie a few times. 💔🌹 Thank you for the memories.
Still missing you.
I was with him for 56 yrs😊 Gil and Jody will always love him ❤
I want this played at my funeral so everyone knows how I feel when I hear SRV. Close your eyes, sway with the riffs, listen to him speak then hold on he will take you away from all the b.s. on earth we deal with in 2020 Live life like it's your last, love one another, laugh, cry, and "pick each other up" so says Mr. Vaughn! Love this man 4 ever! God rest his beautiful soul!
I was just thinking play this at my funeral... what a great way to send a life off
