If you’re going to weld it, do you try to tack it up in-place then remove it cat back to finish the job? Or do you remove the old exhaust and cut and weld it in the bench ?

I would believe you tack it up on the car and remove to finish it. I'm not a welder so I'm sure someone more experience can get it completed while on the car!
