Huge mistake: introducing your fiancee to Brad Pitt.
Lol! Even if he’s your brother. 😂😂😂😂
oh jeez
LOL!
Lmao!!!
why? 😃
One of the most beautifully cast, and emotionally deep and epic movies ever made. They just don't make movies like this any more.....
Lies again? God Mode Grab MILF
I definitely agree with you. Unfortunately, acting, quality and that soul are over...
Concordo!
Agreed sadly, is like the movie community don't take their jobs seriously anymore... 😢
They don’t make movies like this anymore ,simply a masterpiece!!!
In today's age, sometimes, it's good to take it easy and go back in time to enjoy the good media of back in the day.
A criminally underrated film.
Just viewed it again. It really is one of the most outstanding films ever made. Flawless. Dark. Immense in its cinema. A true American story.
u should read the book... omg
@@ladeacarr4245 I always hope to happen upon the novella. which confuses me as it is presented as an a Epic. I don't think I understand "epic".
I dont want to order the book. I want to happen upon it.

Jesus this was an impressive comment agreed 💯
40 year old bloke.. this is my favourite movie of all time. I love the music
Just watched it. Now it's one of my favorite films of all time. One that you will never forget. It's funny how these special films play with your emotions. Had only seen it the first time but I felt nostalgic. It's as if I've livedwith the characters. A wonderful work of art it is.
I've watched this movie many times. The first time was around my early teen years, now I'm 30. It's always been one of my favorites.
Brad Pitt presence in this movie make this movie a masterpiece
What a classic… watched it for the first time today. The music in this movie is just outstanding.
For the first time??? How young are you?? 🤔
@@always-positivity 29 🤷♂️ never really came across it
The theme in this was used also in 1992's Last of the Mohicans. If you like this music and movie I can't recommend that film and its soundtrack enough. It's stuck with me my whole life.
Every year i have to watch this movie atleast once .. whos with me in 2022
Eu também!
how about 3 times a year and it is 2024
I watch it at least twice a year when I need some grounding
did you do it for 2024 yet? if not then let’s get a move on!
Now me
Too
I was 10 when I watched this completely captivated and bawling my eyes out. There isn’t a better movie. I miss this level of passion for art, when movies (and music) touched your soul.
Epic film…and this trailer is so epic with the music. Seriously one of the greatest films ever made. It’s hard for me to relate to anyone who doesn’t appreciate this film.
From The Last of the Mohicans- another damn great movie.
This was a hit at the box office in 1994 but it wasn't particularly hyped by critics. It sort of got so-so reviews. I think it is great. An epic film. But 94 also had Shawshank, Pulp Fiction, and Forrest Gump up for best picture. So it tends to get overlooked. If it came out now it would probably be up for like ten Oscars since movies have gotten so weak lately. The music, cinematography, casting and story were all first rate. Just a classic old fashioned story type of movie. If a bit melancholy and sad. But World War 1 was no fairytale and neither was the US as far as law and order during the late teens and early 1920s.
I swear it pisses me off how good this movie is lol, I was born in 93 I watch it when I was like 15, ever since then it's been perpetual for the very reason that it resonate on every aspect of life based on character development and purpose, it's legendary and at a time when this country was finding its way through life itself, I wouldn't doubt a story of this nature was true during that time. Damn
+1 I absolutely love this movie
The whole reason I watched this movie because I love the last of the Mohicans so so much and the soundtrack was in the trailer, this turns out to be a great film also
It makes me sad when I think of all of the great films made in a ten year period from 1989 to 1999: Field of Dreams, Goodfellas, Dances with Wolves, Edward Scissorhands, Silence of the Lambs, Unforgiven, T2, A Few Good Men, Schindler's List, The Fugitive, Tombstone, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Legends of the Fall, Heat, Casino, Braveheart, Se7en, Fargo, LA Confidential, Boogie Nights, Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, The Thin Red Line, Good Will Hunting, Rounders, Fight Club, American Beauty. And I could name about 25 to 50 more easily that were very good to great.
Compare that to the past ten years. Another sign the culture of the U.S. has bottomed out.
@Tommy Xenogroth Yes, 2000-2010 was decent. Things really started to trend downward in the past decade...especially the last five years. TV was sort of at a peak in the 2000s with the Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, etc but that is sort of trending downhill too with all this cancel culture and PC indoctrination.
I'm just saying you can name so many films that have become classics from the 90s but not very many from 2010-current day. That's why people go on UA-cam a lot and the film industry is dying out.
We have avengers now u should be produ
Yes, I have older teenagers and the 80's-90's movies are the only ones they like.
Nostalgia speaking.
@@fromthehaven94 No, quality films speak for themselves. These all stand up today.
I can watch this movie over and over
Same. I never get tired of it.
Cuz your 6ay
A great movie probably one of the top 5 movies I ever watched in 61 years also fairly accurate the only u had law in small town america in prohibition was to take it look at western north Carolina west Virginia Montana and lots of other prohibition gave them a license to steal
@@dennispope7998 yeah but why it score less in rating maybe because it againsts the authority
Aidan Quinn should have won an Oscar for this. Great cast all around but he was perfection
I keep saying the year 1994 is among the best years for movies in my lifetime.
@@fromthehaven94 That's widely been agreed, yes. Great year.
I agree
HES VERY HANDSOME AND A TERRIFIC ACTOR
His acting was definitely good but he was competing against Shaw Shank Redemption and Forest Gump
One of the greatest and underrated movies of all time
,,It was good death"
What a wonderful , painful ,beautiful,original life ,love,family story.
This is fr sure one of the most beautilul love story ,the cast is sooo talented.
I always cry watching this masterpiece.
Nothing comes close to this masterpiece. The main reason it doesn’t get the best reviews from everyone is cuz almost everyone dies n it’s heartbreaking. I cry everytime
the modern day story.. is " the notebook " .. but honestly.. this movie and last of the Mohicans is a true love story... the story of true love.. and unrequited love.. its tragic and beautiful ... its perfect.. we have all had a tristan in our lives.. he is the rock we broke ourselves upon...
One of the best films ever made period.
Such an underrated movie. Sure its a sappy romantic drama but the cinematography, sets, score, and acting are all amazing. Shot on location in Montana. A beautiful film. One of the “sleeper” films of the 90s.
It was shot in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada
Underrated? This was one of the biggest movies of its time!
What is sleeper genere
this is one of the very best movies ever and one of Brad Pitt best movies ever
Totally agree!
Yep I love it too
When I see a comment like this I just have to watch it. If u regret it ima violate you

I just finished watching it and I could watch it again. The best Movie, they don’t do movies like that anymore 😢
Fantastic movie and let’s just say it, Brad Pitt was so freakin gorgeous in this movie it was unreal!
*Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness, and they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy or they become legend.*
not "while", it's "or they become legend".
Lol
Beautiful!
Adian Quinn is one of my biggest movie crushes and i dont know why. Probably those eyes.
More than his charismatic, perfect creation of his looks. He is such a versatile, generous and effective actor !!! Good choice of all his great story line movies!!
So versatile, brad pitt is a damn legend
" _It was a good death._ "
Best ending ever.
That made me chuckle😂
This movie is my favorite movie of all time. The music is absolutely untouchable and made me a James Horner fan. The story has everything you ask for, and let's be honest... Brad Pitt is perfect.
One of the saddest movies ever like how much can happen to one group of people?
one of the best movie's ever made, a true sense of an epic beautiful emotional movie
I watched this movie when i was in the primary school and i loved it alot and now im 32 years and watched again and it's still the best movie. Im from Iraq
I actually thought seriously about naming my third son Tristan after Brad Pitt’s character! My kids laugh at me now... but I’m like... you never saw the movie... so... plllthhh...
I named my son Tristan because this movie 💯💯
@@dalllyyy
Aww! I love that!! Tristan will always be one of my favorite names!
I almost did too
At age 23, I finally saw this and my parents chose well.
If it's any consolation to you I was named Tristan because of the movie
Super painful and outstanding film! Cried on 5 different occasions! Beautifully written!
I cried when the father forgave the eldest son
Simply a masterpiece. Stunning film and soundtrack. Beautiful film and soundtrack. They don't make films like this anymore.
One of my favorite movies
Just watched about 4 brad pitt movies in the last week, favorite so far..
This movie made Brad Pitt a legend! Such a sad,sad movie.
This movie is absolutely amazing if you haven’t seen it I definitely recommend it right away
Simply the best movie I have ever watched, greatest movie soundtrack and what a story. It pulls you in and you easily drown in all the sorrow, excitement and action. So many emotions in 2 hours. As a kid you dream of adventure, family and love and for me this movie encompassed all of those day dreams from age 7 thru 13….simply put, wow.
Unpopular opinion: I’d prefer Aidan Quinn. He is handsome 😊
I’d prefer Alfred too. Men like Tristan are of not interest to me at all.
Over and over I read in these comments.. "they just don't make movies like this anymore " Well I'm asking you why not? Why is everything made now so dark or dystopian? These beautiful masterpieces of movies that touch us so deeply are important because they connect us all as caring, empathetic beings. The dark movies made today are only aimed at making us desensitized to violence and horrifying, dehumanizing actions or situations. Take your focus off these dark things and show caring toward eachother. We each need to focus on bringing back the human heart and soul to our lives and those around us. Peace and love to everyone. ❤️✌️
Oh Brad... The moment I fell in love with him was this movie. Such a beautiful looking man, dear God.
It’s a beautiful movie, but also very sad…
Last of the Mohicans 🎶 I need to see Daniel Day Lewis’ hair when I hear this music.
Feel sorry for alfred. Guy didnt deserve the way his family treated him. Meanwhile, tristan just does whatever he likes and everybody loves him. If he had listened to alfred and just kept close to samuel, there would have been no trouble in the 1st place
This is one of the only movies that made me cry. Like really cry. The scene at war where you know who dies. Just broke me.
I was 15 when this movie came out, I was SO in love with BP's character, Tristan...saw it 7 times at the theater 😆
Epic movie. They don't make films like this anymore. Beautiful film and soundtrack. Stunning movie
Just watched it for the 10th time in 2021 this movie will stay with me 😊
One of my favorites movies of all time. Beautiful soundtrack
An Epic movie. They dont make movies like this anyone. Stunning movie and soundtrack. Great acting
It's 2022 and I'm just getting started being a fanatic of Bradley pitt❣️
I saw this movie almost 30 year's ago and it left me with agreat empression to this day
One of the best movies of all time.
One of my favorites movies of all time. Beautiful music too. Great acting.
Wow - never seen this. Trailer nearly made me cry. Going to watch tonight. Brad Pitt one of the greatest actors of all time.
What happened to good movies like this. All the make now is garbage. Everything's about superheroes and fighting.
And woke bullshit too. And crappy cgi. It’s annoying. I agree with you.
Agree! 1000%
The barbed wire scene as a kid traumatized me for life.
I just wanted to see the trailer first before watching lol
same lol!
....isnt that why everyone watches trailers? I mean, thats literally the main reason they make them.
It’s not the first time you’ve seen it is it?
I wonder if the inventor of the trailer could have foreseen such a wacky world where people watch the trailers to decide if they want to watch the movie. This truly is a crazy time to be alive people. Only in America.
@@ifwecouldvote ahhahaha
Just finished watching this movie. It's an awesome movie😊
A true masterpiece , you can watch it’s beauty over and over .. 💖💖
An epic movie. A masterpiece. Stunning movie and soundtrack. Great acting. Beautiful haunting music. Beautiful movie.
Epic movie. They don't make films like this anymore. Stunning soundtrack. Beautiful movie
never seen this, will give it a try due to all the good reviews.
Amazing film
It's a awesome movie but very sad to
The scene where Alfred comforts Susannah and the Colonel tells her she’s been nothing but trouble since she came to the house, is nowhere to be found, not even in the deleted scenes portion of the dvd. The scene in the movie is him telling Alfred damn you and then tell her damn you too. Alfred tels him to leave her out if it. I’ve always wondered what exactly did he say. I loved this movie. I remember going to the theatre by myself to see it.
Yes, I noticed that too. Very observant of you.
That scene is not deleted on netflix
Epic movie. They don't make movies like this anymore. Stunning movie and soundtrack.

This is my favourite brad pitt movie
Why he never won an oscar for it is beyond me hes a great actor
Hollywood have a lot to answer for
Hes been in a hell of a lot of movies since and all good ones
He deserves more respect for his acting
Hes not just a pretty face
ikr?. so true
Well, maybe not Burn After Reading... To me it was Burn Before Watching, lol. Everything else, yeah....
Love the music and Hopkins!
We love the 90s because of movies like this. Good times, great memories. 90s were the best. Greetings from Saint Marys, Georgia. 90s❤
when Isabel two died 😭😭😭. love this movie. i was -5 years old when it came out
Modern directors and producers can take a very profound lesson from a movie like this.
One of Brad Pitt’ s movie best icon 👏🏻👏🏻
Tristan was grieving over the loss of his brother, he wasn't in his right mind. It took him years to recover and when he did, he finally got married to the native indian girl. Everything happens for a reason...beautiful movie. ❤
Its a stupid question to ask someone that what is his/her fav film ever? But if someone answers 'LOTF', then its a really smart answer.
Cast, acting, story, cinematography, dialogues, passion and intesity, romance, breathtaking scenes, music (Hans Zimmer). This movie should be on Hollywood walk of fame even if there is no category of films.
I'd choose Aiden Quinn over Brad Pitt. He's gorgeous!😍
This movie was incredible start to finish.
Epic movie. Haunting soundtrack. Beautiful film and great acting. Beautiful film. They don't make movies like this anymore.
Still one of the best.
Epic movie. One of my favorites movies of all time. Great acting and beautiful soundtrack.

I'm 17 and I'll start to watch the films my mom recommended to me. This one is at her top 10.
One of the best movies ever
This is the movie that had me fall in love with Brad Pitt
Just listening to the music in the trailer and from 1:02 through 1:30 is definitely the main theme from Last of The Mohicans which came out two years prior to this film. In the exact same key as well. Very interesting.
Wonderful movie
A masterpiece. They don't make films like this anymore. An epic movie and beautiful soundtrack.

“TriStar Pictures presents. Brad Pitt. Anthony Hopkins. Aidan Quinn. “Legends Of The Fall”.”
I had the chance to see this in theaters. I shock the industry won't give it a reshowing on its 30 year anniversary. It's a movie that makes you want to go to see it. Captivating & Amazing.
I haven't seen this movie since it came out but I remember my emotional reaction & crying. And yes Brad Pitt is gorgeous! I guess there were big issues btwn he & Jennifer A. I'm sure their children wld have been beautiful & talented. We will never know!
