Great Video! Can't wait to see this setup being field-tested. :D #stoked also, very much interested in how you made that remote control for the ronin! 👍
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed. You can find out how I setup the Ronin remote in this video I put together ua-cam.com/video/JaJVnz8Ks30/v-deo.html
Incredible setup you made for that cable cam, I'm trying to build my gimbal setup like yours and I would love to see how to connect the remote control, you know what cables to use to connect the tx to the ronin.
Hey, thanks dude. Glad you like what I rigged up. Working on a video about the remote for the ronin but I'll hit you up on IG with some pics of the wiring I used.
@@ScottBell Thanks for the info bro! And continue with the videos that are very good, I hope soon to return to the idea of making the videos too, I have one thought of how to mount long cameras in the ronin-s, recently I used a Sony fs5 with the ronin-s without using any counterweight.
Wow. Great job balancing that beast! I know when I load up my ronin S it gets harder to balance! Thanks for the review as well! A bit too much delay for me (live broadcast) so great to know this things! Also looking forward to your video with the remote and transceiver video! I would of just used the control through the app on your phone but you cannot if you are using it as a monitor! Great work around and more control. :)
Thanks for watching Kyle. I ended up going this route for the extra range as well. The app doesn't let you control or see video beyond 50-100ft. I'll put together the remote control video soon.
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching! Right now I can't pull focus while it's on the cable setup so I set my focus and it stays at that. In the future I would be looking at a Nucleus M for the range I need, but the Nano could work for shorter range cables. I hope to get that RC video out soon.
@@ScottBell but nucleus n has 300ft range! It is really enough for many cases! If you need long range you can use this . Where (l) is you’re position In a middle and end point! And you will have range around 600 Ft!
Thanks for watching. I was not able to figure out a way to control the focus motor after a lot of trying unfortunately. So you'd need to get a Nucleus wireless focus motor.
I grabbed this cable and then a DC to USB C adapter. I have not tested yet as its still enroute. The camera control cable that comes with the Ronin S will also provide power but then you can't connect it to the camera. www.amazon.com/dp/B07K1JKT57/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_btf_t1_aX9sFbBP4KH7T
@@ScottBell Cool man. Thanks. Interested if the kluge works. Speaking of toys, not sure how much multi-cam shooting you do, but even for syncing up an external sound recorder, I love Tentacle. They are tiny, light, and have an internal battery. I mount one on the bottom of the gimbal arm and run the short cable into the a7R III mic input. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1372226-REG/tentacle_sync_te2_sync_e_standard_set.html
Great video man! I'm currently researching wireless focus puller setups, and came across the Mars. Planning to pair it with my Nucleus-N and field monitor. I've also been a tad worried about the latency, but from what I gather the GH5 has a built in latency over HDMI at certain frame rates. If I remember correctly it's quite bad at 24, but a lot better at 25 and 30, but I could be wrong? Anyhoo, seems like SDI is the way to go, but the GH5 doesn't have it, so... the search goes on. Hope your ankle gets better soon. Cheers! /Fred ...OH YEAH, also very interested in the remote control thingy, so a video on that would be super interesting. :)
Stoked to try this thing!!
Yeah man, gonna be dope!

also, very much interested in how you made that remote control for the ronin! 👍
Thanks for watching. I'll work on a video about the remote. It's pretty straightforward.
Keep it coming.
Thanks for watching
oh yeah, all that for mountain biking, nice setup and good recovery to the rider, peace
Gotta get those shots! Thanks for watching.
Most interesting video! Bravo! I'm also Interested in the way you remote control the Ronin.... thank you~!

Amazing video brother.. Waiting for the video about controlling gymbal wirelessly control. Get well soon.
Cheers, thanks for the kind wishes. Will work on the remote video soon.

Thanks for the info about mars 300 pro. What is your opinion about pulling focus?
Hope soon to see a video about rc for the ronin-s.

@@DJIDAI26 Very true, the range on the Mars 300 is about the same as the Nucleus Nano so could work out!
Great video! Does You were tray remote control with Ronin-s focus motor on? Is there a possibility to use any free thumb/channel for this need?

I so wanna see the remote functionality of the gimbal, and hope u recover soon :)
Thanks for the kind wishes and yes, stay tuned, will do that video soon!
I'm waiting for a video on how to make rc for ronin.
I'll do my best to make that video soon. I'm in the middle of a bunch of mountain bike shoots right now so life is very full! Thanks for watching.
Amazing video, Hope you recover soon, Hope your second video soon~
Thank you Nina. Things are looking good on the injury so I have plans to shoot another video showing the whole setup in use next week. Stay tuned!
what cable did you get to power the TX from the Ronin grip?

I haven't looked into timecode yet, definitely something I should try at some point.
Hey Peter, the cable arrived today and it does in fact work properly if you were curious.

Thanks for watching. I'm curious what the range of like on the nucleus-n or if I'll have to go with the M to get enough distance for my purposes.
