Thank you so much Mr Erik Sherburne. It was an honor to hear your beautiful composition. My son, @Gyron E. had fun playing the drums with this awesome RHS Jazz Ensemble. This is one of my favorites. Love the vibe of this song. It’s truly funky 🎵🎸🥁🎷🎺
nah lol, i ended up improvising rather than the written solo anywase. was by far my favrite song of the school year, got to use distortion and overdrive on it, as well as one other song with just distortion later in the year. both minor keys, very fun @@Enryu_uyrnE
I’m having to learn this for jazz band as a freshman with an instructor that knows close to nothing about stringed instruments, can I ask did you have to play rhythm up until your solo?
@@Maddsxx-y8x no, i just experimented with some improvisations for the solo while i was learning the solo, and my director loved one style in particular so i just went with that instead of learning the solo. we also repeated the section and put a bass trombone solo, thats when i played some basic rythms using the chords as background
Nicely done!

I play the French Horn.
Yeah, a little unconventional I guess
Gl bro my band director is heavy on marching band and isn't nearly as focused on concert and jazz so our band sounds kinda ass
