I miss this NASCAR. This was my childhood.
i never got to see it. this legendary lineup of drivers. 😞
I remember these races
Me too
These were the golden days!
What's different these days?
"And he'll cross the start/finish line, unofficially, upside-down in 18th position...on fire."
"Joie Chitwood couldn't do that". :-)
2020… Ryan Newman Finished 4th Upside down on FIRE!
@@P3FDFootage31 and half dead
@@P3FDFootage31 9th actually….
Lies again? Name Number SILAT 23
The guys have tremendous driving skill. It is really amazing how close they drive to each other at 190 mph. So much respect for them.
This are not skill, you go only round man
@@diegoneoculato 99.999 % of the population couldn't do it, yet you call it 'not a skill'?
@@diegoneoculatoyou hop in one then goofy
I love Nascar. If you ain't cheating you ain't trying. The extra gas in the role bars . Would make anybody think this is a fuel economic Nascar.
@@diegoneoculatoyou are the definition of ignorance
i dont understand why people hate the fox coverage. just listen to larry mac and dw's energy
and mikes Funnyness
theoriginalshew I don't think ANYONE hates Fox. NBC is worse.
theoriginalshew i really hate NBC
theoriginalshew Bro have you ever seen it on TNT? It's bad
Garrett Bishop i guess thats why they dont do it anymore, how does kyle petty keep his announcing job
"Have you ever, no I've ever"! Greatest quote I've heard all year!
InsidiousSwede They say it so often :| lol
Never*
He says “no I’ve never”*
No IvE eVeR
I'm from Europe so we just basically watch a lot of F1, WRC, and other classes. Then the highlights of Indycar on UA-cam (or when we are lucky live indycar races like the 500). Nascar was pretty much off the radar here, and it's gaining a lot of popularity. But why is everybody fighting at each other about which class is better (nascar vs. indycar)? Be grateful you've got two amazing racing classes in northern america, which are totally different but still great.
IndyCar and NASCAR are both great series
Erwin-RiJi i still prefer nascar tho, but it wouldn't hurt to watch indycar as much of watching f1 nowdays
I watched Monacco Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 congrats to Juan and Edwards Veetel as well
Indycar is more fun
because that's what we Americans like to do.
“The legend, the runner-up, and the rookie! 3 cars! 1 champion!”
The reference is a true nostalgia.
I don't care what anyone says, hands down the best racer of all time is ricky bobby. So inspirational.
Dale jr all the way
Shake n bake, baby!
Bo Scarborough dale jr is overrated. Has never won a championship. Only reason he is know is because of his dad
Dale Earnhardt
Ben gotta disagree with ya, Dale Earnhardt Sr. Was the best
3:07 he got better each time he did one
Wow, that Ricky Craven win. That's "Pontiac Excitement" right there!
9:10 hearing the almighty v8 beast unleashing its beastly victory roar..
As of Harvick being my favorite driver... I can say I am proud of him for beating the badass Jeff Gordon for his first win!
Should’ve easily been #1
Nobody will ever replace the late great Dale Earnhardt
Bajcan Numone Kyle Busch
Bryson Cars 3 toys I like jimmy Johnson better
We can at least count on Chase Elliott not doing that. The guy sucks.
He said "replace" not overtake
#1 Kyle Busch Fan get out of my sight
I want to go watch some fucking NASCAR after this. Those were some exciting races
This is the best year for that
I wonder how often Dave Blaney thinks, "Dammit, if only Kurt and Ricky had done that coming to the white flag, not the checkered flag. I'd have a Cup win."
He probably does everytime he sees it
Best driver to never win a race.
Pretty much constantly! HAHAHAHA!
Mike Skinner or Ted Musgrave.
黃金拍擋。
Notice how full the stands are compared to now. Lmao. It's sad.
Gary Golden back when NASCAR was good.
But Daytona, Dega, Glen and Bristol still basically have sold out stands
NASCAR in that era basically had a boom period where basically its ratings skyrocketed and it had to build new stands, now since that crowd has left that’s why there are many empty seats. The sport still gets the same ratings it did in the early 90’s today
Luke Jameson same with Chicagoland, open seating everywhere. 15 years ago you could only stand
2021 I bet it pops off
they got it right with #1. Best finish ever.
Now it is the finish at Daytona in 2018 in the Xfinty series
Naw ‘11 dega was way better
wolfman21 #4 should’ve been #1
Naw, 11 dega shoulda
Kaden Kart No

I love NASCAR
I remember that 2009 talledega race like it was yesterday. Also probably my earliest Nascar memory and sports memory. I watched that right here in the room I'm sitting in now.
Johnson pulled the exact same move in the '05 coke 600 that Carl Edwards had pulled on him to win the Atlanta race earlier in the year.
This was a nice thing to show during that rain delay at Talladega last year and it got me pumped for when they went back racing.
Magali😃😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
They should bring back rockingham.
What about riverside?
The France family is too dumb to do that
elr2141979 the France family is no longer in complete control
The France Family/NASCAR has no control over Rockingham!
@@jameshart7659 if I'm not mistaken the France family took Rockingham off the schedule
They got #1 right that was WILD
#2 still have no idea why Jeff didn't go to the apron to block Jimmie.
It was the epitome of Rubin's Racin'. Knew that would be #1 without even watching this. Even Kurt Busch went to victory lane to congratulate Craven and would probably tell you it was the most fun he has ever had in a race car.
I don't understand all those ppl who say NASCAR sucks or its boring. U just don't know anything about the sport! Most of them didn't saw a race, or even know that they race not only at daytona! If u don't understand NASCAR u shouldn't watch motorsport! If u think its easy, try a lap with a 850bhp gen6 car on a short oval! Every kind of Motorsport is awesome and exicting! F1, LMP, GT, Indycar, NASCAR, Rally, Trucks, ... Even drag-racing is exciting! U only need to understand the sport! Looks like this "easy" sport is to complicated for some ppl!
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID THAT!!
J. Fivecorr, AMEN TO DAT
J. Fivecorr Yep, very underrated. The force exerted going into turns, the endurance, the tech and prep going on in the garage before the race, the pit stops, the spotter and crew chief making split decision calls during races, getting that perfect muscle memory in practice, all of it. Simply amazing
Amen!
@Mojomaster Stage Racing makes it more exciting. The Gen 6 cars are the problem.
I hate how people say another left turn, oh another left turn, and another left turn. how about you get in a car that goes over 200 MPH and is like 130 degrees inside for 4-5 hours at a place like Bristol I have, i race late models it's actually hard
+Brandon Butler you know, F1 cars can get over 200 mph but they have to brake, accelerate and make all kinds of turns possible, not just one stupid-ass 200+ mph turn left for 5 hours straight
Its not about the track its about the drivers and who can keep under control and be on their best game in the end. All douchebag F1 fans act like an Army of Hitler so your profile pic suits you nicely.
or race in a pack like at Talladega or Daytona
+KNIGHTCleric I dont know why you like a motorsport that uses electronics and Traction Control
African Racer I dont know what you are every saying. I like what I see. Nascar is a boring motorsport because all you do is turn left. F1 is much more versatile
Little did they know, later on that day, that would have one of the best finishes at Tallagdega with teammates David Ragan and David Guililand pushing their way to the front on the final lap to finish 1 and 2
they both suck ass
Scott Fuhrman They are racing in the Sprint cup series. They don't suck
Jan they still suck(Gilliland especially he finishes worst then 30th every week) Regan actually has little talent so shut up you don't know shit about racing
David Ragan drove for Roush and won several races on several tracks.
Jan I think you need to look that up before you post. I found on nascar.com that he has won 2 races that is it. You are thinking of mark martin who also drove the 6 for roush racing and won at several tracks. You need to look that stuff up because Regan has only won 2 races in his career. His last win was.......Talladega because his teammate push him to front. SO YOU ARE WRONG!
6:55 look at the left and wait a bit.
The part of him missing, turning Johnson?
Carl Edward's teammate spun out Keselowski after the race as payback for taking him out
The only people I know of that have survived the injury that killed Earnhardt are Ernie Irvan after his 1994 Michigan race and Stanley Smith in 1993 after his Talladega wreck.
The situation on 6:10 is like Chick hicks vs King
I was looking for this comment :DD
-Have you ever?
-NO, I HAVE NEVER!!
Those lines never get old!
"Have you ever ...- NO I've never ..." *gg*
THANK GOODNESS for a video like this to get me through sittin' in the waiting area at the DMV! 🏁🚗🚗🚗

Aaaaaah ;) Gotcha!
What about the 2016 Daytona 500
Johnnnaaayyy Boy video was posted in 2013 .
I never watched NASCAR on tv but i played nascar 2005 chase for the cup so much as an 8 year old that it feels like I never missed anything 😂😭 its the only reason i still remember most of their names and the cars they drove. It felt really nostalgic watching this, especially the ones from around 2005 because it reminded me of the awesome car models from that time, the familiar names, and all the laps i had driven (theoretically) myself 😂 I even have a small collection of 1/64th scales from that time too... NASCAR seemed to be pretty big back then, I wonder how its doing now. Either way, I am glad I had some NASCAR in my childhood 🏆 I gotta try out another game sometime 🏁
That Darlington race was excellent from start to finish! Best race I've ever seen. Gotta go there!
The win of 32 is AMAZING!!!!!
My favorite part of every clip is “HE GOT IT!!!”
15:32 LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF PRESSURE CRAVEN PUTS. YOU CAN SEE THE AMBITION
That craven Busch finish was absolutely epic
DW's one of my favorite sports commentators of all time. He cracks me up, what a card.
2016 Daytona 500 should be on the next list
And 2016 Phoenix
And the 2016 sprint showdown race #3
We can add 2016 Watkins Glen maybe also...
+Hail to the King Baby not on fox tho
Hail to the King Baby 2016 Sonoma too
“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.” Ernest Hemingway.
4:22 Kenseth did WHAT to Kasey Kahne?!?!
Amazing!
I now realized that this was just alternate programming used when the 2013 Aaron's 499 was delayed by Rain.
Love the threes in the crowd. Rest in peace dale sr.
Who’s here after Atlanta 2024
#1 was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Best finish ever!!
Insane!
Great video
I agree & a hell of a way to finish a race
Ricky Craven’s Tide Car sure cleaned out the Rubbermaid. 😂😂
I’ll never understand and always be hurt by Carl leaving. I was just getting into racing and liked Jimmie some going into that 2005 Atlanta race, I left that race a lifelong Carl Edwards fan. NASCAR isn’t the same without him
Como quisiera algo asi en argentina che, es envidiable!!
I loved watching that one with Johnson and Carl
#4 should be #1. They left out the entire 10-15 laps before that when 5 cars were under a blanket battling for the lead. I was there and everyone in the stands was cheering the final 15 laps, just deliriously enjoying the racing in front of them. Then when Harvick won it continued for half an hour after the race. The best racing moment I've ever witnessed, and I'm a Jeff Gordon fan.
Easily
Gives me nostalgia
The 2007 Daytona race HAS to be in the top 3.
Edit: yay
MaGaLi😳😳😳😳😳😳
Umm,ok
whats the music used for Craven vs Busch?
Great highlights!!! My favorite driver of all time will be AWESOME BILL FROM DAWSONVILLE. NOW I PULL FOR CHASE FROM THE SAME PLACE!!!!!! FOVER #9!!!!!!
What is your picture from because it looks framiliar
I can't wait for the day Carl Edwards fails his backflip I'm gonna crack up
+Will Blake As long as he doesn't get hurt, I will laugh too. lol
+Will Blake One day he'll be too old and try it........and fail.
+Will Blake one day he is gonna fail and land on his neck xD
Will Blake well that day never came LOL
That day will never come now lol
awsome video
saw it live... ricky raven vs kurt bush fight as a little kid. I became a motorsport fan after that race.
6:20 is a thing of beauty. What a win lol.
Just a mexican comment passing through
#4 a moment to remember forever
Does anyone know #7 music?
Cool vid : D
Great Photo finish get his name here in this series
Not sure why im watching this, but nice!
EPIC !
love nascar
07 Daytona 500 Clint bowyer got swag
I agree 100%. Fight to the finish!
Kevin Harvicks win in the 29 was the win that NASCAR needed along with Dale Jr. Winning Daytona a few weeks later to
I’ve never seen such a close finish 😱
That last one was lit
Have you ever…. No I’ve never. Love it.
I loved that tandem racing. The racing doesn't compare today to the racing just 10 years ago.
4:18 the song is Shapeshifter - Celdweller (Klayton Remix)
What took Dale Sr 20 years to accomplish a rookie gets it in his first Cup Race. Thats unbelivable
excelent.....
So in the 2005 coca-cola 600, the fans stayed for 5 HOURS
Yes, we are dedicated fans, who will stay until the very end.
so.
That finish still pisses me off. I wanted Labonte to win so bad.
I watched through the whole of the 2011 canadian grand prix, no matter what form, motorsport fans almost always stay till the very end.
Magali🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I was there at the Aaron's 499 race. I was sat at the exit of turn four.
Put a nearly 2 ton piece of metal into any fence and see how well it holds up. Also it wasn't the car that kill Earnhardt it was the lack of a head and neck restrain which allowed his head to snap forward and basically internally decapitate him. Several drivers throughout the years and in various series of NASCAR and various other forms of motorsports outside of NASCAR have died from the same injury. Very few have survived the injury, one being Ernie Irvan.
What I like the most about the old gen 4 cars is that u could chase cars down. Look at the finish with Kurt Busch and Ricky Craven a car today in 1st woulda pulled away from the car in 2nd and both cars woulda definitely blown tires the way they were banging and bumping. Racing was just better back then
2007 daytona was heart breaking as a Mark Martin fan...so close
WOW. .002 finish at the darlington and talladega.
Kenseth did WHAT to Kahne?!!!
I want to know the song that was in the background in Trevor Baynes win
Old nascar :( awesome
Ricky Craven vs. Kurt Busch was the best finish ever! That's what it's all about, two racers refusing to lose.
MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES YEAH YES
Are you kidding me??!!! Am I dreaming right now??!!
