The big three being the HANS device, the new barrier, and the 'car of tomorrow'.

In f1 all 4 tires have to pass the white line for it to be considered exceeding track limits. Only at a few tracks this is actually enforced. And normally it just invalidates the lap time and no one is disqualified.
