Shawn & Mel, Luke filmed this video here in Charleston, SC (my hometown). Luke was born in North Carolina. He is definitely one of the new country guys that’s out that is killing it man! All of his songs seem to be hits!
I remember when this song first came out. I was in a similar situation with a toxic girlfriend. We weren't engaged by any means, it being the summer before my senior year, but the exact same thing happened to me and then I heard this song shortly after and it was instantly a favorite
This is the song that turned me on to Luke Combs. He's a great songwriter, and his voice is so cool. My music tastes are a bit weird compared to my friends since I'm from England, and this genre isn't really known at all over here.
he also does it later in the song; "i only spent 5 bucks at the moose club raffle, won a used 4 wheeler and 3 free passes, for me and 2 of my buddies to play a (1) round of golf"
Fun.. honestly I don't think the song has deep meaning.. but I think it does say don't get caught up with the what you should do.. but do what makes you happy..
Mother-in-law… they can be a real pain. Mine isn’t that bad, but she can be obnoxious; because I’m more responsible than her own sons, I always have to be better. My wife doesn’t like my mom at all, but she keeps it quiet. They’re very similar, clashing over basic s* that nobody else cares about.
Love you guys, but… Please Please Please You keep missing lyrics as you talk over the song and takes away from enjoying the reaction :( Pausing and rewinding works, but talking over the song is so distracting

You should react to his song forever after all. The video is his real wedding. It's beautiful
If you listen, he does a countdown. Caller #5, 4 day, 3 night beach, ....

Six Feet Away is a great song by him about being a singer during the pandemic.
