W game. You got the lore right by the way. Kratos’s army slaughtered a town that his wife and daughter were in at the time, causing them to be killed without Kratos being aware. In this game, he has moved from Greece to Midgard (Norway) in order to start a new life in peace.
What a perfect time to get a new GoW playthrough! I was literally just thinking about watching someone new play through it! I'm curious to see what Audrey's Kratos build will be... good luck and enjoy your playthrough!
Enjoyin the reaction so far, Miss. I ESPECIALLY appreciate the lack of profanity in it. Speaks well of ye."In the direction of deer." Wasn't as sarcastic as most think. If she'd taught Atreus his to hunt, he should KNOW where and how to likely look for and find deer. Kratos' answer wasn't sarcasm, it was a refusal to help Atreus who needs to prove his skills to Kratos. You were easier and more understandin of Kratos than most. You have to understand......the only way Kratos knows how to be a father is to be a disciplinarian and ONLY a disciplinarian. He's a Spartan. He was raised and taught to be a warrior. He later says of Spartan life, "Life was grim and we greeted it grimly." Even though his wife taught him a lot of compassion and humanity, he didn't know EITHER until then. His life was service, betrayal, Imprisonment and vengeance. On top of it all, he never had a father as a roll model to teach him fatherhood or how to be a good man. True, he's rough with Atreus and only knows "tough love" but it's all he knows to do and to be and the circumstances mean that Atreus is forced to skip childhood and become a warrior himself. They have neither the convenience of time nor peace for a proper Dad/son dynamic. But give it time. They'll come around🤠
"Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning." Ofc, every self respecting Norse inspired game must include this prayer :) 43:26 Oh come on Kratos, use some of your chest opening magic. Ngl, pretty epic. Those fights are cool, and the way they interacts with environment is next level. This is gonna be a fun one, looking toward to this playthrough!
The environments of this game are SO immersive, it's easy to get lost in them, even at the very beginning. I've never really been much of a gamer, but I have always been a HUGE mythology geek (especially Greek and Norse) so this series has always been a favorite of mine. Enjoy!
15:00 this part was in the E3 demo and when Kratos got angry they showed his rage meter filling up, but then it went back down as he calmed himself. The area changed many times over between the demo and the release, so it doesn't actually look the same after this cutscene.
A few tips for this game from someone who has played the main story through 7 times 😂 1. Always go the way you think you're NOT supposed to go first. Being lead down the path to the right? Go left first and see what's down there. 2. Use your shield. It will not break and it is incredibly useful 3. If you're not sure where to go, look at Atreus. Is he looking in a particular direction or leading you somewhere? There's more but I'll wait until you've further into the game before I give you any more hints as they allude to things yet to happen and I don't want any spoilers.
As soon i saw u start playing GOW i have watch it love your game play with discuss the story . play along u love this even more btw lots of love hope u have an amazing day.
It’s also unnecessary to do either of those things. Of course the game is incredible when you know everything, but I imagine it’s just as good when everything is a mystery 🤷🏽♂️
I only mentioned it because of so many comments saying to watch plot summaries. I think that’s kind of lame. Either play the games or don’t play them. Watching a video that sums them up is stupid.
I will definitely be watching all of these but hopefully🤞🏻 she will do “Black Myth WuKong “game in the future both of these games stories and actions are amazing.
If u watch a summary of what kratos past is....u will definitely understand this game better and also... understand why kratos is like this as a father
Hey Audrey! I appreciate your dedication to content and playing all these amazing story-driven games.. But please don't go overboard. It's OK to finish RDR2 first then have a break and move on to the next game. Juggling 3 at once is a lot, and I just wonder if it will affect your enjoyment of them. Please feel free to slow down on the uploads so you can take your time and see things through 🤗
You don't know what have you got yourself into "masterpiece"
Ohhhh shit! A new fan emerges!
Prepare yourself for an EXPERIENCE.
Peak game right here, enjoy your journey ❤️
Shining. Fresh from grieving over Arthur, to this. Well you couldn't have known. It IS a great game.

1:02:00 from what I've read about the mythology he is not described to have any specific powers, just that he is most beautiful and loved by all.
I’d recommend actually playing the original games instead of watching a summary video but I realize that 3 games is a huge commitment 😂

I just got the platinum on this game
*Ready yourselves*
Just make sure you have some tissues at the ready, just in case.
The way you say war is interesting 🤔
Trust me playing on God of war difficulty is almost impossible😂
