    Been looking at the gradient lightstrip for my 65'' LG TV but what I don't like is the fact that it has a U share and you clearly need more lighting for the lower part. I see you've mentioned "Philips Hue Light Strip (x5) + extensions", so I am assuming that the extensions they sell separately can also be added to the pre-cut 65'' they have? I have not seen anywhere anybody doing this, always adding the Philips bars or an extra independent light strip to the bottom, which in my opinion is just a crapy fixed.

    Hi, I have a philips ambilight TV and a Phillips hue flourish ceiling light and I’m trying to find the right brightness settings to sync them, but everything I tried doesn’t feel as natural als you did.
    So can I ask, how bright you turned the lights in settings?

    don't quite understand, "the rest of the lights(Light Strips) operate through separate control" if controlled separately, how can the lights sync with the colors and effects?

  • @boukeelsinghorst4848
    @boukeelsinghorst4848 4 роки тому +1

    How many lights did you use in total? I count 11 in view. Are there also lights installed on the left side ceiling?
    I thought the sync box only supports a maximum of 10 lights?

      I'm just guessing I'm not sure but maybe that's why he added the Nvidia shield 🤷🏿‍♂️

    • @boukeelsinghorst4848
      @boukeelsinghorst4848 4 роки тому +1

      @@justommy86 the purpose of the shield is being an external media source so the signal is passed through the sync box. He only mentions that the light strips are controlled bij another controller, that doesn't give me a clue about how those are synced. I'm really interested in it though. I'm about to do the electrical work on a house we are renovating, it would be nice to directly integrate that light setup. I'm planning the Centura spots instead of the G10.

    It looks absolutely awesome.
    I have several questions:
    - Do you need Philips Sync if you already have a Philips TV with ambilight?
    - Which is the distance between GU10 downlights?
    - Do you consider necessary the 2 downlights GU10 that are on the right side of the room? I dont see any bulb on the left side and I would like to know also if you would consider having also 2 new gu10 on the left side.
    Thank you!!

    • @sangjin-son
      @sangjin-son  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you for you praise.
      The spacing between each GU10 downlight is approximately 1M.
      The ceiling of the window side is a little more than 1M. There is an air conditioner in the middle.
      Since Philips Hue's GU10 Bulb is not bright(350 lumens), I installed two more downlight at the window side.
      The other side is the kitchen, but there is a light in the kitchen, so I didn't install any additional.
      Was it helpful?

    10 hue color flood bulbs: 46.99-54.99/bulb is 470-550 in bulbs alone there.
    60 for the bridge.
    230 for the hdmi box.
    760 minimum for just the lighting in that room before we even get to the TV.
