The devs picked a lot of these characters just because of how they looked and their potential for the medium MvCI was forced to be an ad for the movies and it suffered greatly for it

I was never into comics as a kid, but I played the shit out of Marvel Super Heroes on PS1. Blackheart was my favorite character. It's a shame we haven't seen him in a good animated movie or tv show. Such a cool design.

I'd say the best thing that could happen is if just like in Ultimate Alliance, they have him be more connected to Doctor Doom as the central enemy. If there's 3 villains that have been done dirty in the Marvel movies, it's Blackheart, Doctor Doom and Galactus. They gotta make their comebacks soon 😩

I'll make a character whit both, Black Heart's speed, plus Spider Man's agility.
I like how he was totally fucked up in that silly movie ^^ Marvel Super Heroes is such a gem. I prefer the less hectic one-on-one fights with the infinity gems adding some spice over the VS-series. Graphically, it’s probably only surpassed by SF3 (within the Capcom titles). In all other games, MSH characters had cut animation.
