For a one-eyed octopus-looking dimensional being, Shuma Gorath is very charismatic. That victory pose when he looks at the camera is always funny to me!
I dunno why they make Shuma-Gorath so small. He is actually one of the Elder Gods of the Chaos Realm. His size is bigger than Planets and more powerful than any demons like Mephisto or Blackheart. Only Galactus rivals him in size.

One time, Dormammu, Satanna and Son of Satan teamed up with Doctor Strange to repel Shuma -Gorath because he tried to invade the Hell Dimension. If Hell was consumed, the demons all die and Shuma-Gorath can easily invade Earth and even Heaven.
I always assumed the Capcom version of Shuma Gorath is just a tiny portion of his actual power manifestated in our realm in physical form, while the bulk of his presence is in the Chaos Dimension. It makes sense and should be a logical conclusion to make to most fans familiar with him . I like to think the small Capcom version of Shuma Gorath is a manifestation of the equivalent of his little toe, if even that.
Really hope it's Gargantos cuz Shuma Gorath is too much for the MCU. Where talking about a Demonic God that lived before time itself. Even Dormammu, Mephisto, Blackheart's powers pale in comparison and they even call him Master lol.
In 1972 the character's creation was mostly inspired from the HP Lovecraft books. (Those 1920s books that introduced Cthulhu and the other octopus aliens for the very first time if you don't know.) Also I'm so sorry for being a comic nerd here, but for someone that conquered nearly hundreds of different universes, killed quintillions of souls in that matter, can bend reality, and is completely immortal, might be a weird choice for a character to be in these games. And not to mention he barely appears in the comics or anywhere else in the media which is why Shuma-Gorath is such an obscure marvel character. Which is sad.
Mac&Cheez The stranger thing is that, despite being a Dr Strange villain, he doesn’t actually confront Dr Strange all that often. He has had about as much confrontations from Conan and Spider-Man as he does with Strange.

Literally knew nothing about him till they did more research just thought he looked the coolest out of everyone they skimmed through in a booklet.
