Yeah and some games like Street Fighter and Tekken gone forward.... very sad story. I would like to see revamped Bloody Roar games started from scratch, with some changes to mechanics, because some mechanics weren't so good, like side steps while blocking or counter attacks.
ShenLong finally realise himself if he kills Long he won't get nothing, he just a 'clone' of the real thing. So, after BR2 event, he choose to live normally, disbanding ZLF, changed bit of his appearance and fighting style, and become Long's rival for fun ( also befriend with Uriko )
Oh this game, i remember this in arcade, everybody's favourite character is this tiger, i don't know why, probably easy to combo. Bloody roar, Tekken, KoF 2002 and Soul calibur were famous arcade in my country. Oh and Initial D arcade also.

except for the last iteration, i really loved the mechanics of this game. with improved graphics while being faithful to the original mechanics, and adding layers of new ones as well as new side contents would probably give the top 3 fg today a run for its money.

From what I remenber in the first game he enters the "quimera state" due to experiments and the fact she was young so she couldnt control the power, in the second and forward he transfrom in half-beast because she still cant control the quimera power fully, but enough to transform, the only time she re-enters this state is ik primal to protect bakuryu
Uriko was a zoanthrope who was kidnapped by Tyrant and modified as an artificial zoanthrope called War Chimaera. And according to the Bloody Roar 2 story, when Uriko witnessed her mother(Mitsuko) got kidnapped by Shenlong and other ZLF(Zoanthrope Liberation Force), she tried to turn into the War Chimaera to save her mom, but since it’s power was too strong for her to handle, she turned into the Half Beast(half cat, half human) by it’s side effect.

You know, Shenlong grows to be less of a evil person until part 4 where he just comes off as a douchy anti hero, comparative to Long.

Ah the nostalgia. Always got annoyed fighting Busuzima and Gado in BR2. Gado is the most badass boss in the bloody roar series for me.
*sigh*.... How much I've miss this game. Why can't we have some re-make or a HD edition of this game if we can't have a sequel? 😭

In the Bloody Roar Extreme you can fight with other bosses like Uranus, Koryu & Fang is not only Chronos.
