This is not a HOW TO. Just want to upgrade my current Pioneer 4800bs to a 4660NEX radio. It was critical that my new headunit have wireless car play and here it is!!!
@@Garagejunky09 any regrets in not getting like a 10 inch or 9 inch floating ones they make?.. I just bought my 2013 rtl ..excited to upgrade the navi
@@guillermoortiz1492 so my concern with floating units is thief. The dash kit will not secure the unit. With the floating unit, gives it a bit of leverage to rip it out. Another issue is overheating. Single din, happened to us (different vehicle) 3hrs in a roadtrip with volume set at 3/4 . Unit would shut off. But besides those concerns, the 8600nex is wonderful unit. But to answer your question, I would grab the 8600nex just for better reach from driver position.
You can bypass the parking brake thing with this Hack. if you go to source off and hold the screen for 10 secs it bypasses it completely. works on the newest firmware! heres the video.. ua-cam.com/video/M4g97WW5OB8/v-deo.html
Im waiting for the part where you show how you connect ALL the steering wheel buttons including the honda link buttons
Wouldnt the usb-c port they supplied have higher speed than the usb-A? Im sure they could be compared in the specs
How did you connect the wheel controls? I couldnt find the cables for key 1 and 2
Do u have the steering control module for it?
@Garagejunky09 what's the link for this steering wheel module
How you liking the radio still bro?
Love it. Have zero reason to upgrade to gen 2 ridgeline now lol. Quick response, great UI and Sound system sounds way better than factory.
